Bi-Weekly Report #35 (and Drawpile #5)

I... don't know how to start this one.

I usually have some idea. Some inkling, or at least my natural instinct to ramble like a dorkus. I've got nothing.

Maybe it's that I'm writing this before noon. Maybe it's that there's no really interesting way to tell a bunch of strangers on the internet that your cat died of a broken wiener. Apparently that's extremely common in male cats??? Now my house is missing a significant piece of its presence and cooking is a much more lonesome affair. It's a real downer.

It happened right after the last report. I've had some time, I've been fighting to catch up on things. Fighting with a lot of things. Did you know that something like 40% of Millenials have cashed out their 401Ks just to survive this shit right now? I've joined that statistic. Very cool world we live in. There's a Senator from Illinois trying to push a law through congress redefining obscenity. People keep pushing for payment processors to not block "legal" transactions while ignoring all the things present leadership wants to make illegal. Every day is a new waking nightmare of stressors looming slightly more heavily over the horizon and I'm just trying not to shit my pants.

... He was my therapy cat.

I think I'm sticking to non-report Mondays for Drawpiles for now. I will try to make them a bit earlier in the day maybe. We will see. Stay tuned!

Also that Twitch I mentioned last time will probably get broken in with the Phasmophobia update. That sounds fun. New terrible farmhouse ahoy!

WRITING

I want to have Chapter 14 done so badly. I think I need to draw Shia'ar for the release though. I think people need to see the hot elf man. I think that'd get people to read it. I'm not tempting you all correctly, clearly.

ANIMATION

The Manor has moved! Very slightly but still. Some edits and tweaks to the part I'm working on, and the gal has the beginnings of a face??? A face... Fancy that.

I'm also adjusting the General Queue to the intended order of completion for now I think. I've moved BunnyLink's way past overdue thing out of "IDLE" time because "IDLE" time straight up never happens anymore. "IDLE" time is a lie. I will be working on it and it will be streamed and it will finally get fucking done. And we will all be good sports about it probably maybe.

My work ethic is great shut up.

AND THAT ABOUT DOES IT

Finally sat down and played through Team Sonic Racing since Crossworlds is out soon. Game is underrated, which I say pretty confidently because it is dead as hell. Kind of a bummer, but what can you do? I think the team play stuff is a very different way of thinking that, in my brief co-op experiences back when it first came out, most people seem to really struggle with. I don't think it's a black mark on the racing side of the series, but I can see how it didn't click with people, even if I think it's pretty neat. OST high-key rules, regardless.

I'm trying to get back to it after grieving. I mostly just want to sleep a lot. My joints ache and my sinuses feel like permanently very slightly swollen, which isn't the worst on its own for a bit but after a while it's pretty grating. Wish that would chill out.

Can't tell if my issues seeing clearly lately are that or just these old glasses finally going that far to shit...

I guess we'll see in time? Ha ha. ho ho.
