February 2025 UPDATE

Big things this month for me. But before that let me go over how last month went.

January was a pretty steady month I'd say. Did my best to get requests done in a timely manner. That is, I would've like to believe that if it wasn't for the fires in SoCal. Thankfully I didn't get hit that hard. Just lost about 3 days' worth of potential work progress. (No power for 2 days.) But it was a tiny blessing cuz it gave me a chance to disconnect and relax away from technology. It was a strange but peaceful experience.

Getting back on track though, I finished a trade for a friend, 1 more full color comm, all requests and the Poll Winners from last month. So roughly 9 pieces in January. A little under my previous months but it is what it is. Mostly cuz I was prepping my mind for what's to come.

SO! I brought it up multiple times these last few updates, but the time has come.
I've gotten a new job in a warehouse. Manual Labor and what not.
It was another opportunity I was given, and it looks like it's going to be a permanent position this time around. It's nothing to stress out about thankfully so I'll be fine. But it does mean my job as a freelance artist will start slowing down. I won't stop drawing but expect fewer pieces to be finished or shown. I'll see how this first month goes. I'll do my best to get at least these Patreon Requests done. But I have a feeling I'll need to take down that tier pretty soon.
And i think that and the 5-dollar Tier will also be taken down. I don't want folks to be wasting their money on me if I'm not providing on a timely manner like I would be doing.
The Discord will stay up for folks to stick around and chill and will probably stay the same price. IDK. Please let me know your thoughts on what I can do for you guys.

Other than that, i guess it's time for a mini reflection on my career.
Was once was a hobby of mine in school turned into a reluctant passion into my full-blown job.
Been drawing all my life I'd say. Wasn't until I got my first laptop in college 10 years ago and practiced digital art up until now.
Graduated in 2020 and I've been doing this as a professional for 4 years. It's crazy to think about but it is that way because of all the people who like my work and continued to support me that I can call myself that. So, from the bottom of my heart, I thank each and every one of you.

Monday on the 3rd is when I start my first day. So, from then on out, I'll continue being an artist as a side gig. I should be sad about that, but I'm feeling pretty content about it.

Take care folks. And thanks for sticking around.
