December 2024 UPDATE

Hey everyone. Hope your Holiday Season started better than mine. But we'll talk about that later. Right now, let's get into how last month went.

Work
-Since the Beginning of November, I've had my comm queue filled and have been slowly working on them when I can. Sketching and cleaning all of them at once and when all are sufficiently checked out and approved, I can start lining and coloring them 1-by-1. It's been a slow process this time around, but it ended up being less stressful just cuz I got started on the roughs for each one fairly early. So, I wasn't lost on what to do when I moved onto the next.
-Other than that, been planning some stuff for myself like the Gremlin Sloth from a little while ago. No clue when those will be completed tho, my apologies.
-And from my Planner, it looks like i finished around 12 pics all together last month. 👍

Patreon 
-Another month of doing a fanart poll and I think they all turned out much better than October's. Thank you for voting everyone and I'll be sure to do one last round with our current selection of characters.
-Requests were all very fun again and I'll be dm'ing folks fairly soon. Looking forward to more saucy ideas.

Personal Life
-Now. I'll do the best I can with being honest in this part. I'm not doing great ya'll.
Like I said, my holiday season started very rough already. Thanksgiving happened and hardly anyone from my side of the family showed up. Even with the few that came, I still felt very left out. That night was a bust. I did my best to show up for my family but nevertheless was bored and neglected.

-But for the actual important thing that happened that night. Over the past year, my brother-in-law kept telling me about the business he's working for and how they're preparing to start hiring new people. That was around May, and he said it'll happen in June or July. Turns out they were still preparing and why he was silent for the most part.
But now, that night when we actually chatted, he told me they're business is ready to officially open on Dec 2nd. It's a new warehouse location that they were setting up here in SoCal. So, things are gonna get rolling for them soon. And he told me that in January, they will be ready to start hiring. And cuz my brother-in-law already works there, he said he'll get me a position, no problem.

-So, I think I'm gonna do it. I love what I'm doing now. I'm glad I'm able to pursue my passion for the past 10 years. But I said I would be honest. I'm tired. Very very tired. Nonstop work for clients without any time for myself has been a bummer. And even with all the support I get from them and you guys, its sadly not enough.
-Not once, have I managed to make a profit. And living in Cali doesn't help either. So, I'm willing to take this opportunity at having a sustainable life.

-Idk what's gonna happen when January starts but this Job will be in the back of my mind until then. I'm not quitting art, but I'm hoping to take a little break when the new year hits. I'll let you all know what happens to me, the Patreon, and this Server if this whole thing does go through. I know I said I'll be Opening my big ol fancy Comms again but, sometimes you gotta take chances on something new.
And so, for December, I'm gonna WORK MY ASS OFF THIS MONTH! Clearing everything off my plate for clients and for you guys supporting me.

I appreciate everyone here and everyone who's supported me. It's been a crazy and emotional ride. But I will still be around. I'm not going anywhere.
