Jo Bennett: "Lower yourself, Gabe. I don't want to be having a conversation with your crotch."

Jo Bennett: "Cover his ass like tighty-whities." Michael Scott: "I will cover his ass like moss on a Mississippi tree stump." Jo: "Was how I said it not clear enough? I mean, you had to go and make up your own saying?

A couple of things, 1 I dont think its entirely necessary to have seen the musical to get the humor. I haven't seen Sweeny Todd yet myself (I'm going to watch yalls reaction soon though) but I understand that its a production Michael tried out for and was jealous not to be in. I think any musical would have conveyed the same humor, but yall having seen it may have added to your appreciation. As for Michael hating Toby I dont think its from anything Toby has done per se, but its because hes the HR rep. I think its just a running joke that regardless of who the boss is or who the HR person is they'll be at cross purposes. David Wallace said something negative about his HR person in an episode "He's probably the only person here you'll hate." And when Holly arrived originally Michael hated her instantly without knowing anything about her because she was HR. It was only after having a little joke with her that he softened. Michael views HR people as there to obstruct his trying to make the Office a fun place to be. That HR tries to get him in trouble for his jokes and antics. I dont think he has anything really personal against Toby.

Gotta love how deeply Dwight desired that pewter wizard holding a crystal ball from the fancy store inside of the mall! In the Peacock-exclusive "Superfan" extended edition, which are versions of episodes that include both expanded and deleted scenes, it is revealed that Dwight really just wanted the crystal ball all along. After purchasing the pewter wizard, he is shown prying the attached spherical portion made of crystal from the sculpted hand. Then, he smashes and literally trashes the rest of the statuette in a garbage can, commenting to the camera about how he was only in it for the crystal, not some stupid, silly wizard. If I recollect correctly, not only were just Andy and Jim onlooking witnesses to these wacky actions and antics by Dwight, but I think he did it within view of all workers at the store that sold the item to him.

Michael was sharing a memory about attending a professional, big league baseball game (e.g. MLB). Remember, Michael, even as an adult in his middle age, considers coworkers to be friends and/or family. Hence, it makes sense that, from his perceptive perspective as a child, he would feel bad for the pitcher being taken out of the game by the manager aka head coach, since said positional player, by rule, could no longer return to the field and play with his "friends" aka teammates after being pulled. It is cool to get that insightful look into the mindset of Michael that has still remained ingrained within his brain throughout his entire life, even into his forties, which generally explains a lot about his personality traits and characteristics. Clearly, a large part of Michael always aspired for a managerial role later in life due to that which was instilled in him, even if it was merely one minor/minute/minuscule moment in time shaping the makeup of his mindset. After all, Michael reminiscently remembered someone he looked up to as a role model and thought of fondly in his fatherly figure, stepdad Jeff, telling him how he respected the manager for making the right decision in removing the pitcher. What a well-written, anecdotal analogy by whomever scripted it!

"ALF" stands for "Alien Life F̵o̵r̵c̵e̵ Form".

Michael's nephew Luke Cooper seemed to channel his inner Creed, what with Luke referring to Phyllis as "Venus", much like how Creed frequently forgets and mixes up the names of his colleagues. Creed even occasionally calls people by some completely random name(s), just like Luke did so to Phyllis in this instance.

At the end of Season 6, after Jo noted that Dwight had a prosperous year as the top sales person, she advised him to invest in real estate like herself. Thereafter, he was depicted placing a call with an interest in purchasing some local property. During said call, in which an agent was on the other end of the line, Dwight suddenly got an urge while outside conversing on the phone in the parking lot. He looked around and observed the Scranton Business Park sign. That is of course the campus where the building that houses Dunder Mifflin (plus other companies' office units) is located, along with a bunch of other such similar buildings with offices inside of them. Dwight then indicated that he had changed his mind about the other property, hence him swiftly switching gears, as he demanded that the agent make an offer for 1725 Slough Avenue, which is the address of the aforementioned building containing Dunder Mifflin's upstairs office and downstairs warehouse. Initially, Dwight told the agent to make an offer which could not be refused, then he said to lowball them instead, at which point he insisted that the confused agent get a deal done and abruptly hung up.

Nah, Michael wasn't talking about Ryan while he was speaking in a negative, derogatory manner about a past intern from a few years ago and declaring him to be "the worst". First and foremost, Ryan was a temp, not an intern. Plus, Michael has always considered Ryan to be an attractive, young lad, thus he would never make a disparaging remark in relation to Ryan like the following one: "That face, how ugly he was? He was the worst! Good worker though."

Asia, the first of the two films referenced was 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘯 𝘒𝘢𝘯𝘦 (1941). BJ, you were indeed correct that the second one mentioned was 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘰𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘤𝘬 𝘚𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘴 (1999).
