More on this below: "The Pennsylvania Farm Show butter sculpture has been around since 1991, making the 2025 sculpture the 34th in the tradition. The first sculpture, a depiction of Benjamin Franklin, was carved by Raymond Mackintosh. Since 1995, the sculpture has been created by artists Jim Victor and Marie Pelton." "The Pennsylvania Farm Show butter sculpture takes 14 days to carve by artists but is then on display to the public for 8 days. After the show ends, the sculpture is deconstructed, a process that takes about one to two hours, and the butter is recycled into renewable energy."
