It's a justified criticism... Of course not everyone will get EVERY movie they watch the first time, but most adults absolutely get the overwhelming majority of films they watch the first time, WHICH ASIA AND BJ DO. You can love a creator and still critique them, and you definitely shouldn't be telling them to screw off and go watch someone else over criticism. This isn't Inception, Arrival, or some arthouse film. If your job is reacting to movies and you can't simply distinguish one character from another despite them not looking the same, or miss every major plot point when they're explicitly given to you, that's a valid critique. For example, they watched Iron Man 2, Black Widow is sprinkled throughout that entire movie, and then Asia says, "who is she" in Avenger's, that's frustrating, or they've watched 3 marvel movies with infinity stones, get to another marvel movie with a infinity stone, and BJ says this is their first time seeing any infinity stones, that is frustrating...it not missing "little things" when you completely miss every major plot point and mix up whole characters and no one is asking them to watch the movie first.

2025-10-17 03:28:27 +0000 UTCI've noticed a few comments complaining that Asia and BJ got the ending wrong. If you are a fan of these two its because of how real and honest they are. We don't watch them to see them get it perfect every time, we watch cause we trust that this is really the first time they have seen this movie. None of us can say that we have gotten every movie we have ever watched right on the first watch. I thought this was a great reaction and its why we love these two so much. i'm sure there are reaction channels that claim its there first watch and then make sure they get every little thing right and if that's something you like i'm sure there are channels out there for you. For me though and the rest of there fans this is why we watch them because they are real and honest. I really hope they do Black Phone 2 when it comes out.

Anyway, I'm just here to say having grown up in the 70's, kids were allowed to run all over the place. You were wondering why lil sis was riding her bike alone in the rain... we were the "be home when the street lights come on" generation. And back then, we didn't have 911.
