I hope True Detective Season 1 is on a poll or something soon. I have a clear top four shows: True Detective S1, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and The Wire. TD S1 is the GOAT as far as I'm concerned though.

Many of the actors later starred in The Wire. Rotten Tomatoes reported a 100% approval rating with an average rating of 10/10. The series received four Emmy awards nominations at the 52nd Primetime Emmy Awards. It won for Outstanding Miniseries; Outstanding Directing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special and Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries or a Movie (David Simon and David Mills); and was nominated for Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special. 2025-06-14 19:36:48 +0000 UTCRandy is back in a "group home", probably for good. If his foster mom survived the fire attack, she'd never want Randy back for the trouble he brought. Bunk went to the group home a few episodes ago, and Randy was a completely different kid. He had to change to survive in that environment, especially since his first day there he was jumped and labeled a "snitch", and essentially abandoned by the Cops who said they'd protect him. He's on his own, just like Dookie, and even Michael in the end. Namond's the only one who got lucky and ended up with Bunny and his wife taking him in.

Body where season 1 started with the maintenance man who saw Deangelo shoot the guy in the building , Chris and weebay in jail forever , Marlo can’t leave the life but isn’t a legend like Omar or Avon , Namond prob will be a clay Davis type lol, Micheal is Omar , Sydnor talking to the judge like mcnulty … it’s all a cycle … hands down the best show …I don’t Trust anything lol they showed how city hall and the government really does

Life sometimes sucks, but being able to watch your reactions are always a good time, plus you both seem like genuinely kind people. I hope your channel always continues to grow. I know Asia said to chill about the next series, but I really want to suggest True Detective Season One, Fargo, Boardwalk Empire, and The Boys which you’d watch season 1-3, the a show that ties in called Gen V, and then season 4 of The Boys. Season 2 of Gen B comes out later this year, and the final season of The Boys comes out next year. Each season is o my 8 episodes too. BJ said he’d be checking out the comments and sir, I promise you that you’d love all my suggestions and you’d both have so much fun with The Boys and know so by the end of the first episode. I’d bet money you both would love it. There are a lot of good shows to watch but the ones I suggested are fun to watch and have good reactions too. Either way best of everything to you two. Thank you for all the entertainment.

The creator of The Wire, David Simon, was a journalist—so it’s fitting that the series ends with an episode titled “–30–,” the traditional sign-off used by old-school reporters to mark the end of a story. The Wire is still my favorite series of all time! So glad y’all watched it. 🖤

It's a difficult watch at times, as it runs you through the whole spectrum of emotions, but I can't remember too many shows that I felt were as well done overall as this.
