Aaliyah would’ve been rising in her acting career. She also played in “Queen of the Damned” and the role jada pinkett smith took in the 2nd matrix movie would’ve gone to Aaliyah. But sadly, she passed away before she had a chance to start filming. I think she was gonna start filming for that movie after she got back from the Bahamas from filming “Rock tha Boat” music video. She truly was robbed of her vibrant life. And after 25yrs since i heard about her passing, i’m still pissed about it.

Really displays his prowess as a martial artist, although the use of wires is obvious in a few scenes. But regardless, absolute cinema. Watch in the chinese dub and prepare to be entertained and enthralled.

2025-06-17 03:04:38 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if others have chimed in on this in the comments, but what may of been missed but evident by the title is that this movie (while old now), is a modern remake of the classic Romeo and Juliet. It has the two families at war with each other and the two star crossed lovers on opposite ends fighting to bring an end to the madness. The twist here (aside from the kung fu) is that in the end, the lovers live and the families die (Some in person, others in name and spirit). Love this movie and glad you all reacted to it.
