2025-02-20 03:01:07 +0000 UTCI've said it before and I'll say it again, bullets don't spark when they hit metal. It is merely a Hollywood convention that they perpetuate because they think the audience is stupid. MythBusters even tested this like five or six different ways trying to get a bullet to spark off of a metallic material or any material whatsoever and they came up with bupkiss. So whenever I see a gunfight in a movie and two different groups are shooting at each other and you see Sparks on poles and hand railings and all sorts of stuff, it just sucks me right out of the movie and destroys my suspension of disbelief. That is how ingrained that particular one is in my head. There are many things that ruin my suspension of disbelief but I have to believe that bullets bouncing off of things and sparking might be the biggest one for me. I know that it's pedantic, but it just takes me right out of the movie every time I see it. Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

However, while filming, nobody expected the building to crumble so quickly like that, so the actors’ shocked reactions were genuine. Lorna is played by Rene Russo, who also played Thor's mother in the MCU movies.
