Man, i never watched this one all the way through. Matter fact, my history teacher in high school mr brown let me borrow the vhs of this and I never finished it. Poor Niel. His dad crushed his spirit. I knew when he put rhat crown on from the play, he was gonna kill himself. All he wanted was to be seen! That's all any of us want. Especially young people. Shout out to all the teachers like that though. Those teachers stick with us forever. Those teachers save lives.

I never spoke up for myself as a teenager, but once I grew past and went out on my own I took my own path, the one less travelled by. :) I eloped to Vermont to marry and we went to Robert Frost's grave to celebrate afterwards.

Dare to strike out and find new ground. As robin said in this film. This movie is great but also hard to watch and didn’t shy away from how Neal died. And made me realize to pay attention. To everything. When Neal told Keating he was trapped…that was a red flag for me. Granted Neal didn’t tell Keating the truth. He told him he talked to his dad. But he was still a kid. Yes a teen but still a kid. So he got scared. And couldn’t tell his dad at the end when he asked what he wanted. He froze. People only talk about flight or fight. Well there’s another f…freeze. And he just shut down and it was over. You could see it in his eyes. Thank you Asia and BJ for such a great reaction. You guys literally never disappoint. Yall are truly amazing and just keep being yall. Every goofy part. At least we all got to make sure BJ stayed awake this time…oh…and when Asia gives you an outfit to wear…wear it. She’s got killer style. Lol. Sorry BJ…got to poke some fun at you some way. Just means I like ya. Lol. Hope that means you forgive me for the “blanket” comment when yall watched “The Nun”. Sorry. Love y’all bbbyyeee. Thanks for all you do and all you are. You both are enough. More than enough. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

And then the end, when the music starts, the tears start flowing the minute I hear Todd say, "O' Captain, My Captain!" UGH! Great movie! Side note: Ethan Hawke, who plays Todd Anderson, was Jake Hoyt in Training Day with Denzel Washington, which y'all watched not too long ago!

She gave an interview recently that she was crushed that her scenes were deleted, and she didn’t even know she was cut from the film until she saw it with her mother.
