2025-01-26 00:55:00 +0000 UTCMy neighbor from years ago was bipolar. Ever so often you’d look outside and he done climbed up on top of his house. About every 3rd or 4th time he’d fall off. Ended up knock Out all of his own teeth. He tore that house all to hell and eventually burned it down.

I feel like that is a bad part about this series in general because they are trying so hard to force that aspect onto the viewers but it doesn't really make sense. That aspect only worked for breaking bad where Walter was ACTUALLY the reason for a lot of ppl's lives being ruined but here the ppl already pretty much had bad lives and most of them got better, the ppl that died they only died because of their own doing and they deserved it in some way, the ONLY person that I can see who did not deserve to die was the therapist and even in her case, she was dumb to buy a crazy car like that when she knew what the byrds were doing. I don't agree with the fact that the byrds ruined everyone's lives, in fact I would argue the opposite lmao.

If anything does happen to him tho, it will be be Ruth's fault at the end of the day.

The gasps, the jumping on the couch, looks over to each other, the SHOCK of Darlene and Wyatt (I cringe every time they touch LOL), the disagreements that Frank Jr needing to go for beating up Ruth, the pointing at the TV and saying "thats Helen's house!" LOL Oooh man.. SO fun. I get so into/lost watching it with you, I forget I'm solo on my laptop watching - I almost say "bless you" out loud when one of you sneeze hahah Happy New Years Eve!

She got herself killed by bringing attention and not listening. She did it to herself. "Frank" was cleaned up by removing any record of Marty and Wendy being clients. Also the "Marty and Wendy Byrde effect" is taking all responsibility away from the person. From Wyatt's father, to Ruth's father, to Sue, to Ben. They all caused their situations

She was greedy as hell and wasn't even sly about it. She heard the words druglord and she knew people around the birds were being killed and still, she was moving crazy.

When Helen went to see Sue after she had driven over to the Byrds in that flashy car she was just verifying what she suspected, that Sue knew too much and the fact that she thought she should get more money for her silence was the last straw. I loved how Helen said, “You will be taken care of.” Then when the hit man and Helen are disposing of her car, he says, “she was a really good listener.” The look on Helen’s face was priceless. I also loved the way Wyatt suggested to Ruth that Ben was too old for her, then realized how ridiculous that was.

And interesting take on the “Bird effect”. But if you think about it, Darlene, Ruth , Wyatt, and Ben’s lives were pretty messed up before the Birds flew into town…just saying. Happy new Year to you both.

BJ I’m not sure that there are other clues about what Ben saw on the phone except that it was an embarrassing photo of that girl in the class. I think the scene was just to show us how he can behave off his medication, throwing the phones into he woodchipper and beating the crap out of the maintenance guy, before we even knew who he was. And I cannot wait for the next drop!

Some fucked up picture of the girl was on the phone. So his rage was in defense of her and his disgust with people being so fucked up and cruel.

A lot of people on bipolar meds get off of them because of bad side-effects. The meds also dull their personalities. It’s such a horrible mental disorder. I feel for anyone who has it. I think Ben blew up because people were sharing a picture of that girl in the class. I figured it was not something she wanted anyone to see. Maybe something she had sent to a (former) boyfriend?
