It's one of the best book-to-screen adaptations I've seen in years. The show is based on the 'Souls Trilogy book series by Deborah Harkness. It has three short seasons. In my opinion, this show's writing, directing, filming, and acting are some of the best digital has to offer today.

2024-11-13 20:43:17 +0000 UTCI liked the first 3 fine (first 2 were the best like you said), but season 4 you could definitely feel the chaos from COVID interrupting their shooting schedule. It felt like they were just putting pen to paper to get a script out there and get it over with. But I wouldn't say I found it unwatchable or anything. And it's less than half the length of Sons of Anarchy - 44 episodes vs 92, so they won't have to commit a ton of time to it no matter what.

Ozark is a one time watch for me it was good the first season then got worse each season. Ruth was amazing in the first season then became very annoying

Only first 2 seasons were bangers, then annoying character gets even more annoying to the point shes unbearable to watch...making the entire show so bad. Literally the wish version of breaking bad, if the cartel was a joke

It would have been Yellowstone/Ozark/Vikings/The Wire and against those shows Ozark likely comes in 4th.
