The homeless lady has appeared at every time in the series when someone is about to die or something big happens such as prior to the school shooting or as the mother (that JT's accident killed) of the troubled bi-polar girl that the club then takes in (like an angel of death or even representative of divine presence (?? )- she had bread and wine in the frame here (religious reference to holy wine and bread) when jax sees her in this episode, when jax meets her in season 1 I think the finale she gives him the blanket and then tells him there is cool water down in the cemetery where jax symbolically washes his hands before he embarks on the journey to try to turn the club around in season 2 (his eyes have been opened and his hands washed clean to start the "work"), then she also appeared to Gemma when Gemma gives her money and Gemma thinks she hears her say "help Abel" then gemma turns around and says excuse me and then she re-says "able to help my boys" with the money... so reference to Abel. So in essence she is a symbolic foreshadowing figure I think w/ divine presence. In this episode she told Jax "it's time" and jax seems to be at peace / has a sense of relief with his decision when he looks her in the eyes and we see the shot of the bread and (holy?) wine .... (and nero had asked Jax where he was going and jax replied "I don't know"... as in he didn't know if he would go to heaven or hell in the end, but with her showing up, he gets the sense he is doing the right thing ... taking out the bad guys and himself included to stop the cycle of violence so in summary she appears as a divine presence / blessing I think. Anyway loved watching this series again with you guys (and the bad guys did have to lose I think for the best, no matter how much we loved them!) Maybe try Mad men next, it's also AMAZING!

2024-11-08 03:18:41 +0000 UTCOK, now that we’ve finished with that 💩 show of a final season to an otherwise great series (they never seem to know how to end these things on a good note) my suggest we suggest the following series… Homeland (8 seasons, be forewarned though, the last four seasons are not as good as the first four.) The Wire (5 seasons, one of the best cop dramas ever.) Vikings (6 seasons) And Chernobyl (5 episodes. This one is one of my favorites. It’s scary when you remember that this actually happened.) All of these are must watch series!
