Saw II

Saw II

Comments

BJ and Asia, pleaseeeeeeeee finish the Saw franchise!!! Just watch Saw once a week and you guys will be done.

Jonathan

He was already in the safe before the police got there. The video feed was already prerecorded already.

CLIFFORD HENRY

The video feed they were watching was pre recorded. The events had already happened long before. That is why the kid was already in the safe.

Russ

they showed that video that showed all of those rooms were taking place at a different time probably the day before. so Amanda put herself in the game to keep the kid safe and then put him in the safe and put that video for them to watch

Zach P

OK. OK. You meber when rocky climbs the steps and he is in shape and he starts shadowboxing at the top then thrusts his hands up in victory. That "literally" happens at the end of this video. only there is two people that ran all the way up them steps and both are shadow boxin in victory before raising their hands in victory!! followed by that scene in scary movie where i think was shorty with the big afro is teachin cindy how to be cool? the two that ran up them steps? they are cindy when she puts it all together. WORD!!!! yaowhaimeannnn!!!! Awesome reaction you guys, one of your best!!

Wolf

Yes. Haunting of Hill House was amazing. But such a bummer it only had one season. But it was great. Phenomenal cast too. Saw 2 is my fav too. Yall faces were as usual…priceless. Can’t wait to see what’s next. Plus did anyone else realize Amanda was the only one not coughing or anything??? I never noticed that before. She had no symptoms of the nerve gas.

Heather C.

You keep moving the spiders around, I don't like that!! 😉jk

Lori Mcmyne

That was a damn good reaction. Saw 2's my fave out the whole series. Watch all of'em. You'll come to love the creativity of the storylines. Jigsaw the most evil genius out of all tv/movie villains

Jah (jakwiq) (Jah Quick)

Mike Flanagan is awesome! We need a "Doctor Sleep" and "The Haunting of Hill House" reaction asap lol

Eamonn Locke

I was hoping you would get to this. I'm not crazy about the rest of the saw movies but the first two are excellent.

Dan Gershgol

I've heard really good things about it.

Stacey Capito

What's #1 in your Saw ranking?

Stacey Capito

I thought the game was for the people chosen to play too. They were all associated with a "selfish" active drug lifestyle, which was destroying them and/or others. To make it out alive they had to do the opposite by working together and help one another with accessing the key/combination to exit. If they couldn't do that, then they weren't redeemable, and died.

Stacey Capito

Your reaction to the ending was great! I thought for sure you two were going to figure it out when you said, "he couldn't do that by himself." 🤓 James Wan is one of the geniuses who help create the Saw franchise, The Conjuring Universe, Dead Silence, and the Insidious movies. He was only involved in co-writing and directing Saw 1 and 3. He was an executive producer for the rest of the movies (negotiating the deals essentially), with little creative input. He's kept a much more creative role in The Conjuring Universe, with writing and or directing and producing. IMO, the only other filmmakers that I like more in the "spooky" genres is Mike Flanagan and Hitchcock. Flanagan's ability to brilliantly adapt stories to the screen is unlike anything I've seen. Somehow he is able to completely deconstruct them and rewrite in way that functions better than the original without sparing any details, while adding easter eggs that pay tribute to the original story creators. Flanagan relies on more emotion than thrills, but both he and Wan are creative geniuses. I still have my fingers crossed that we'll get a Flanagan movie/limited series reaction this year. 🤞😆 When it comes to spooky, Hitchcock, Flanagan, and Wan are my tops. Can't go wrong with their films.

Stacey Capito

Exactly

Josip Buretić

I am not a superfan, more so just a casual fan, but to put it simply, John Kramer is just a psychopath. Some would argue he's more of a sociopath. He had a normal life and with everything he lost, he had a psychotic break. Just a lot of trauma that turned him evil. I honestly wish all the victims were deserving, but that's not the case with all of them. A lot of them are completely innocent. Even in the original Saw movie, Zep was kidnapped and made to play Jigsaws game because he didn't take charge of his life? Come on now lol Kramer just likes to think he has some moral high ground and sometimes it's justified, but most times it's not. He's just sick and twisted and likes torturing people.

Eamonn Locke

Maybe a Saw superfan can enlighten me. The only thing I’ve ever not liked about Saw is that it supposedly has a consistent motive. It is portrayed like he puts people who aren’t valuing life in a game of life or death, that is fine. What I don’t get is, for example, why a load of essentially innocent people deserved to be part of this game. Everyone in there was FALSELY imprisoned. So why did they deserve to be put in the game? Is it just because they did commit crimes they weren’t caught for?

TyphlosionGang

I was so young but I bothered my grandparents to take me. I was such a big fan of the first and then to see a sequel. I’ll never forget sitting in the theater that day watching all this for the first time. Think about it this way, you watch the original and then go to the movies to watch the sequel and just gradually see the progression of what the franchise becomes. Great pick and I had noticed it was on your wall for a minute and I thought 💭 man I hope they put that up. Training day anytime soon also? 👀 I’ve seen that one on the wall also

Jay Rivera

Damn I get such anxiety bc I always think you’re not going to understand smh she said it wasn’t live.

Kyle Knapp

The game wasn't for anyone in the house. The game was for Donnie Walburg. Angela's primary job was to protect the kid in the house.

Dan Gonya

Everything on the footage happened the day before.

Dan Gonya

All Donnie Walburg has to do was stay calm and talk to jigsaw for 3 hours and everything would have been fine, but his hot headedness and fear led to his demise. Had he sat there, his son would have popped out of the safe alive and everything would have been peachy, but jigsaw counted on him being angry and impatient.

Dan Gonya

When I watch horror films I watch it facing the study door, because my brain be like “what if your girlfriend just comes in and murders you tho?”

TyphlosionGang

i never seen this flick before so it was a good watch. BJ made me Laugh for the water part, when he said not water, Give him a glass of spit. Out of all the movies or videos I've seen I never heard that before. But It was a good watch. Might I Suggest 28 days later? Its another good one especially if you haven't seen it

Saints_Madness

I absolutely love the saw franchise. A bit off topic but I really hope one day DC comics has a Batman vs Jigsaw run, I can just imagine how much I'd love that lol.

I'm Batman

Great sequel: Roygbiv (red orange yellow green blue indigo violet) they would’ve just needed to put the numbers into the correct color order on the safe and it would’ve opened.

Paige Moody

You guys should react to terrifier 1 and 2. And 3 when you can!! They are all way worse than saw

Eric Barner

Same! Saw 2 is my favorite as well

Ashleigh

Okay but only if you pay for Asia's therapy she will need after watching!! 🤣🤣

Rebecca Karsner

I think yall should watch Terrifier.

SailorFate

LETS GOOOO!!! you guys got to do all of these

Cody Jado

As BJ put it.."that's what you call a Venus flytrap" That scene reminds me of the movie "The Man in the Iron Mask"-1998. It has a great cast, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeremy Irons, John Malkovich, Gérard Depardieu and Gabriel Byrne.

Kim

Amanda was part of the game to get the group to find the tape. She pretended to be "waking up" , but she likely already had taken the antidote a day or two ahead of time to make sure she wasn't affected. She pretended to look in a bunch of different places until she happened to "find" some loose bricks. Jigsaw can be pretty literal with his words - if he says "all you have to do is sit and talk to me for long enough, you'll find your son in a 'safe' place." All Matthews had to do was talk to him until the clock ran out, that's it. The people in the game, they were so worried about the poison gas, they didn't try thinking logicially that "if this key doesn't open the door, let's look around the room to see if there's anything else." They were all out for their own survival, and didn't think like a group. You'll see this again... The game happened hours earlier, and the movie interspliced the footage of the game (pre-recorded), and the live action of Detective Matthews running through the house looking for his son, which is why he found Xavier already dead on the floor in the bathroom...which was the same bathroom from Saw 1, where you saw the decaying bodies of Zepp and Adam, and Dr. Lawrence Gordon's severed foot. By the way, when Jigsaw tells Matthews "It's the last house on the left", that's a reference to the movie "The Last House on the Left", which is a classic horror movie.

Bryan Sproles

That has got to be a batch of the dumbest cops I've witnessed in a movie. 🤣 That female cop, "I know how he thinks" and just laid over and did everything Jigsaw wanted. Woo lordie, definitely low budget for writers. It was OK though. Haven't seen these movies before.

LynnC

Totally. I'd watch the whole series honestly, BUT don't limit it to one movie a year. You definitely need to see 2, 3 and 4 within a reasonable amount of time of each other, because they kind of build together into one big story.

Bryan Sproles

Scream 3 is a bit of a hurdle to get over in order to get back to the better movies. If you don't care for 3, don't get discouraged, it's the weakest entry in the franchise lol

Eamonn Locke

Guys please continue the Saw franchise at least throughout Saw 3 & 4. You will discover a lot more backstory towards John aka Jigsaw's philosophy and why he became the person you see now.

Monica W

The Saw franchise is pretty solid (a few I could take or leave). I was surprised how much I enjoyed Saw X last year. It's #2 in my personal ranking. We have a long way to go and I'm here for every one of them!

Eamonn Locke

I am so far behind lmao. I haven't watched anything since SOA finale and like 30 minutes of Scream 3. Time to play catch up this weekend TGIF everyone have a great weekend and enjoy the reaction✌❤ fam!

Darth Brooks

It was a recording. Daniel was in the safe the whole time. The game happened several hours before the father got to the house

Tom Selmer

YES! Gonna pop open some Prosecco, chill with some "Devils Lettuce" and enjoy this!!! I love the SAW movies, they are the ones that made me give horror a chance after years of not really watching horror movies. Now I'll watch anything and Ive watched a bunch of firsts with you awesome peeps. <3 Love to you both, y'all are a gift!

Annie Bonz

It’s always fun to see you guys with your detective hats on just to “get got” in the end…. Hilarious 😆 🤣😂 Thanks for a good watch as always. ☺️

Awilda Luciano

@8:56 1st time I’ve seen yall roles switched 😭 BJ looks like he about to pass out and Asia not looking away from the screen. Haha usually the opposite 💀 I don’t remember the 2nd Saw but I do think I watched it long ago.

girlygirl9983

You should watch Cube, think it was 1997

Hesketh

I will watch it tomorrow 😁 I love the SAW franchise

Josip Buretić

Hi guys this is a good one detective Matthews is played by Donnie Wahlberg of the band New kids on the block and he's in Blue bloods... Saw part 3 is my favorite I think it's the best of the whole trilogy... I love your reactions you guys are so hilarious...

Shenita

I love this one!! Can't wait to watch later!! 😁

Rebecca Karsner

you really need to watch Terrifier.

KaptainKrunch

Good jump scares and the shock value doubled, but it wasn't as clever as the original.

JL Green

Love these movies!

Joshua Coe

Nice! My favorite Saw of the franchise!

Eamonn Locke

Yippee, can't wait( great franchise with great storylines)🫣🪚👀

Deborah Lewis
