December Sketch Suggestions
Added 2019-11-25 15:00:04 +0000 UTCIt's the Holiday Season, and this time of year it's really easy to get caught up in trivial things like charity, togetherness, and family. I think it's important that we all remember the real reason for the season: Getting awesome gifts and supporting our capitalist masters! That's why the theme for December is Toygenic!
Seriously, a lot of our geek culture is basically a big toy commercial. It was particularly true in the late 80's through the 90's, but even today, not much is made with at least SOME consideration of how the characters will look on a toy shelf. With Christmas around the corner, not to mention a little bit of nostalgia on my part for working at a toy store, I thought it would be fun to look at the shows and movies that had especially strong connections to toy lines.
