The part that gets me emotional every time I watch this movie (which has been awhile) is from the moment Homer won the national science fair, and from there the tears didn't stop. Such a well-done movie. This was fun watching this with you and awesome reaction. Sending y'all positive vibes as we close out this week. Til' next time.

In 1955, at age 17, my grandfather knew mining was not for him and joined the US Army.....yes he lied about his age, said he was 18 just to get the heck out of that town

I’m always frustrated that the media doesn’t cover rockets or space missions anymore. When the Space X rocket was up I think only one channel like CSPAN was covering it. It’s still dangerous. It’s STILL a miracle and everyone just treats it as old hat. Great movie. Good job VIP. Asia and BJ, I loved your reactions and discussions.

2024-10-17 04:45:16 +0000 UTCIt seems to me that you guys really like these historical based movies especially when there is a scientific theme and things people have to overcome various types of adversity. Hidden figures was another one I know you guys liked. I would like to quickly recommend A Beautiful Mind. I think you guys would really enjoy that one. It stars Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly and it's directed by Ron Howard. I believe it won the best picture Oscar in 1999.
