I actually preferred Stargate Atlantis, but probably best to watch SG1 first.

There's no way humans with ropes and logs could transport blocks weighing hundreds of tons each up ramps into position. We would struggle to do that today with cranes and trucks.

I don’t claim that aliens built them but I do think the history books are wrong, there’s something else that happened that we just don’t know about. This said as someone who majored in history in college, with a focus on ancient history, and I teach history for a living.

2024-09-15 21:52:35 +0000 UTCHere's a recap of the backstory and lore from this movie in case you're confused at all. [Spoilers if you havent watched yet] The Pyramids of Egypt were built by aliens. The aliens found Earth and enslaved the ancient Egyptians. The alien called Ra claimed Earth as his territory and possessed a human body. He ruled over Earth from Egypt as the Sun God Ra, and used the Stargate to move his slaves to other planets as well. Then the Egyptians on Earth rebelled against Ra and buried the Stargate under the sand. Ra left Earth and decided not to come back, probably because he didn't need it anymore. So his human slaves on other planets continued to serve him, while Earth forgot about him and advanced freely since ancient Egypt.

That kid is gonna be super bummed that his magic fire make doesn't work anymore after the zippo runs out of fuel after a couple of days, or the flint runs out. I have to refuel my zippo every couple of days and then typically get sick of it and use a Bic. 😂 Then again this is movie-land where the only things that run out of fuel are cars and planes. Helicopters don't because in movies, they just explode.😂 Y'all seen Hocus Pocus where the kid lights the black flame candle with a zippo he got from the counter of the museum that has been closed for years? The zippo fires up, no problem. Zippos aren't sold with fuel in them, but whatever. Sorry, I'm cranky today. 😂

In the scene where the spaceship first shows up, and the dudes in the pyramid are freaking out, and then you see and hear multiple *chck chch* sounds...like those soldiers wouldn't already have rounds chambered...that or they're just spitting usable ammo onto the ground. Think about it. 😂 Again, because I'm a firearms enthusiast and come from a military family, when I see stuff like this, it completely sucks me out of the narrative. Is this a nit-pick? Absolutely. But it still bugs the hell outta me when they do that stuff. Rant over...until next time. I love this channel by the way. 😊
