👏👏👏 First time I watched this I was 16 or 17, and from that day I knew I'd never do any of that stuff. The irony in all this is when I was 22 I was at a party where I got something slipped in my drink and I almost lost my life from it. So please make sure to also teach your kids about the dangers of drugs being given to them unwillingly. People can be monsters. 😟

I’m actually waiting for when my kids are old enough to watch it. Right now my oldest is 14 and I don’t think it’s appropriate but I do plan on showing it to them at some point, hopefully to scare the 💩 out of them so they’ll think twice about touching drugs. This movie is one of the reasons I never touched drugs. The decline of all of them is so sad and unfortunately it’s reality for a lot of people in this world. The acting in this movie is phenomenal. It’s just one of those movies that’s sticks with you forever.

One of the reasons why it's so disturbing is because it is scarily accurate, aside from the arm scene. The patient is normally given a general anesthetic, not a local. But the progress and rapidity of addiction is shown with a clarity I have never seen in another movie.

I love "Split" but I bet you have already seen it. James McAvoy is awesome in this movie. "Insomnia" is another movie that I liked a lot. Great cast with Al Pacino, Robin Williams, Hilary Swank. "Parasite" great Korean movie... "No Way Out" great movie

I had just looked it up and seen Dafoe was in it and immediately added it to my watch list. He's such a phenomenal actor and his performance in The Lighthouse was fantastic. Speaking of Indies have you seen Suncoast? I just recently watched it and man oh man is it great movie!

Yea. Indie films don't get as much heavy marketing so they usually fly under the radar.. this movie did earn Willem Dafoe an Oscar nomination at the 2018 Oscars though 😁

They all came out 2000-2013 with the only exception being Florida Project (2017). I think they're generally not too new, but the only one I've seen of these is Prisoners. It has Jake Gyllenhaal & Hugh Jackman.

This movie was made on a budget of 2 million and the story is very effective.. so beautifully shot too.. the colors in it really pop and I can't talk about this movie enough!! 🫶

Hey Donna! OMG awesome! Just to give you some subtext about the film. It focuses on people living outside of Disney World in Florida.. where there's a lot of people living in motels and poverty and their struggles to get by.. told mostly from the point of view of children.. it is one of the most realest films I've ever seen!! You can throw me movie recommendations anytime as well!! 🥰🫶

This movie is not for sick people. This movie should be shown to young people to scare them from using drugs. My sister is an addict and this movie hits differently for people for many different reasons. Ellen Burstyn gives one of the greatest performances I have ever seen in this. That alone is worth the watch.

If you all haven't seen The Florida Project.. I highly recommend it.. one of the best movies about childhood I've ever seen.. the ending had me sobbing like a baby 😭😭 Lol Willem Dafoe is fantastic in it 👏
