Dexter New Blood?

The original Dexter is like 5 or 6 seasons. Dexter New Blood is the 10 episode close out of the original show because there was such an negative response to how the original show ended.

Yall should check out Ozark. It’s only 4 seasons and it is really really good. They tell the story and end it without a bunch of gobbledegook to try and keep it going. It’s an amazing series

Doesn't seem like it would cause too much effort to finish Dexter, as the reboot is very quick ... and you already put so much effort into it and New Blood is better than the last few seasons of the show. It's definitely something worth completing even if those who love the show are in the minority. There are lots of good TV recommendations to tackle after, so I think that excitement is where the no vote is coming from ... frankly TV these days is so much better than movies it's not a bad idea to focus on a few good shows after wrapping Dexter. Most of the show recommendations are much more exciting than the movie polls of late. (-:

You guys are getting so many bad recommendations. Mostly shows that start out "hot" but fizzle out pretty quick. SOA, Entourage, Boardwalk Empire, Lost, Cobra Kai, Shameless, Yellowstone, Vikings. They all just get worse and worse. The best ideas i've seen on here are The Wire (The best show ever), Chernobyl and for me, The Mandalorian. But The Wire is the home run pick. Love the channel.

iv never been into dexter or any murder series except night stalker with darren mcgavin back in the 70ies ,for me its movies ,im more into series when its sci fi or horror/fantasy.. and not zombies as they are now done to death but hey its just a superfluous opinion

My husband and I LOVED Dexter however… life would still be fine if you never watched the New Blood series. You are not missing anything if you don’t watch it. It has its moments and it tries to make up for the ending of the original series. But I have to say, my husband and I hated the ending to New Blood even more. I’m sure the die hard fans will disagree big time and that’s ok. It’s really up you both and what you’re feeling. You both do a great job with trying to please everyone and you provide a good variety. We enjoy your reactions. Keep up the good work.

I think we should finish Dexter b/c it's only 1 season and after that mostly stick to movies for about a year b/c y'all have a lot of great movies to watch. Then start with another TV series. I'd love for you to eventually go back to Psych and one that I haven't seen much of people mention, but is a phenomenal tv show, 24. I hope you both are doing better with the loss of your dog.

I understand your point. It does kinda suck that you can't watch along because it's not really up you're alley. I have never seen New Blood so I don't even know if it's good. I did the Dexter rewatch with them because I figured they would do New Blood and I can finally get around to watching it so it would kinda suck of they don't react to it but it's not the end of the world if they don't. I'll still watch it eventually on my own if I have too. It's just like if they were reacting to a series of movies and just didn't do the last one it would be kinda disappointing.. but like I said I understand both sides so it's whatever to me!! I want more movie reactions though!! There's a few titles I'm hoping will drop this year 🤞🤞

We have been waiting patiently for you to finish the last season of Dexter, its 10 episodes and then its a wrap. in two weeks it could be done. You don't have to stop watching movies either, so much more to see. The reason your number 1 reactors is because you find a way to deliver for all of us. you could even space it out if need be, just fit it in when you can. just please don't not do it. I've never seen new blood and want to watch if for the first time with you guys. So far, a 100 people who have voted are saying they would like to see it, that ain't nothing to be dismissed :) respect as always and hope to see it drop sometime in the near future. tv series you should watch next or add to the list: number 1 is The Wire. Chernobyl is a mini series of a true story that has 5 episodes only, but is a must see also. I have plenty more i could list, but these two will see you right for the meanwhile. Movies to watch- Disaster category Armageddon starring Bruce Willis and many more famous faces. Sci Fi Thriller- The butterfly effect. Psychological Thriller- The Prestige starring Christian Bale, who you will know as Batman. True sports movie- Rush- personal pick that i would like to see. The greatest game ever played is also a good one. Romantic Comedy- You've got mail starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. Comedy- Superbad.

Lost is the greatest and has everything! Great writing, great actors, suspense, comedy and a bunch of mysteries and WTF moments like in Breaking Bad and GOT! Plus it has the best pilot episode ever created and nothing else is even close.

I LOVED watching True Blood (team Eric) and so I recently re-watched it, and it was very hard to recapture the momentous thrill I got from it when it was released. It was a disappointing rewatch and I cant really explain why.

I would like you to have a kind of closure and finish with Dexter's story. But I definitely would also love to re-watch "True Blood" with you guys if you haven't seen it yet. I liked the Dexter series, at least the first few seasons until the writing went away from the books. New Blood is just garbage though. Even someone with an average imagination will have no trouble knowing how it goes.

The only reason I voted yes is because it's one season and it does have some good parts. You'll finally get to know what happened to all the characters since Dexter somewhat ended on a cliff hanger. Overall, I was a disappointed with some of the loose ends that weren't tied up with New Blood, but would love to see your reaction. 😜 No matter what, it will be a good reaction.
