Sadly 2 years after the film was released, actor Josh Ryan Evans who played the Grinch as a kid, died while undergoing surgery to correct a congenital heart condition. Evans was 3 ft 2 in tall and had a child's voice due to achondroplasia, a type of dwarfism. Josh Ryan Evans was 18 years old during filming, he died at age 20. Rest in peace ❤️🩹
