Lmfao what are you on about?? It's called buildup. Not every episode has to be deaths and explosions for it to be important. It's a bit slow compared to alot of episodes, sure, but they're extremely important setup for the next few episodes.

Yes, Kim seems to not have a father in her life and barely a mother. So she longs for the approval of her mother and to break morals and to create mischief is her way of trying to fill the void in her life of not really having parents or a normal life.

Lalo is in Germany. First scene we saw him, he enters a bar where everyone is speaking German. He orders a drink in a German. Clearly not California. That’s also why Mike has no hint of any activity from Lalo, he is on another continent. My dad was a lot like Kim's mom. I didn't spend much time with him as a kid, but when I did, he would act a fool. Drinking, stealing petty stuff for seemingly no reason. One time he stole a big bottle of shampoo from GreatClips while I was getting a haircut- the man didn't even have hair. I would never tell my mom what he got up to because even being a kid, I knew what he was doing was wrong and I wouldn't be able to see him if I told her or my grandparents. He tried to impart to me that only simpletons and up-tight people followed rules. I'm grateful to my mom for teaching me otherwise. It wasn't all bad, though, and I loved my dad so much. I think he was in a lot of pain and never figured out how to put it down. He's been gone a few years now and I miss him a lot.

The episode Black and Blue has the same title as the Breaking Bad episode Negro Y Azul but obviously in English. Just a cool little Easter egg. Also Saul Goodman seems to have turned Kim into her mom which isn’t much of a surprise seeing that her mother was pretty much slipping jimmy. You also got a look into the Life of Howard who isn’t really living the dream but positive nevertheless.

The whole key to Lalo's visit to Werner's wife in Germany is to determine exactly what it was that he was building for Gus (the Superlab). Thats what he has been trying to determine from the start. He doesnt really care at all how he died, just needs to know what he was building.
