i stopped caring about Jimmy in season 5. He turned asshole. NO redeeming qualities. and he drug Kim down into the sewer with him. The only reason I kept watching through S6 was the excellent acting the actor did who portrayed Lalo and I wanted to see if Kim would get out of this with her skin on. Jimmy? as a main character they wrote his personality like Walter white. Good guy, never really a good, guy gone bad. Without redeeming qualities, a main character can never call upon empathy or understanding from the viewer. This I think was gilligan's big miss.

2023-12-13 17:28:20 +0000 UTCThe reason Kim and Jimmy are messing with Howard is to get that Sandpiper suit over with. Howard and associates are holding out for more money, but most of the people involved will die before they see a penny. That’s why Jimmy tells his pick pocket friend (Huel?) that what they’re doing is going to benefit a lot of people. That’s the big picture. Plus the lawyers will finally get paid. Jimmy gets a “ finder’s fee “ of 20% when he was the one who discovered what was going on and dove into dumpsters to get the evidence. Chuck took it to HHM, but rather than work with Jimmy on it, they cut him out of it and said he would get a finder’s fee.
