2024-01-23 10:08:40 +0000 UTCI think I've seen the first 4, definitely 1-3. 1 is really good, 2 is good as well, but after that the plot became mostly convoluted with tons of retconning that is like "you think that the plot of this movie was this but actually it was this cause this person was really this all along" and weird stuff like that. After that it just became more like hostile to see how much death and gore they could throw at the screen. If you continue with Saw, the first 3 make a good trilogy of multiple twists coming from the first movies story but after that I'd avoid the others unless you want the bloody violent torture gore style of movies.

2023-10-14 11:41:47 +0000 UTCI hate to be a stick in the mud, but BJ mentioned something that caught my attention. He mentioned that this movie is "slick" and that's a great way of describing it. Also, the connection he made to the jigsaw name and how the film is built around that idea. Well, the rest of the movies, in my mind, took the wrong lessons. That tightness and slickness of this first movie -- with the big surprise and how intricate it is -- is barely there. What you will get though is a lot more traps, a lot more violence, and a lot more creative ways of displaying human corpses. If you like watching Mortal Kombat fatality compilations, you'll be right at home. I'm not joking when I say Saw might be the McDonald's or Coca-Cola of creative deaths in film. We're talking A-1 tier. the best if that's your jam. Just don't hold out hope that it keeps that pace up on bringing a fresh, complex, and intricately made movie with each new installment. I'd compare it to Halloween. That first one slaps and two isn't half bad, but you see a pretty big drop in what they can offer with the setup the more you go—just my take.

I remember watching Saw back when it was pretty unknown and I nevER imagined it would become a massive franchise nor that non-horror fans would be familiar with the title. It felt so underground with the first one. Also, Amanda is so great... I know her as a comedy actor from Becker so that THREW me when I realized it was her.

2023-10-12 22:11:23 +0000 UTCi know this movie doesnt have an after credits scene but you guys need to let the credits play at least for a min or two. you have done a few movies with credit scenes that you skip because you stop it as soon as the credits come on. i think most of us watching would also love seeing you see some of the names that come up in the credits. it would help with seeing who is who when you recognize. in fact im sure most reactors would love and appreciate this. we are here to see a full reaction after all. another few minutes wouldnt hurt

Also, the latest Rambo film, Last Blood could be a good one to watch, the end is basically a slasher montage. Also, you guys would love British sweets (candy) and chocolate.

If you pay attention to what he’s saying and analyze all the phrasing of sentences you learn all that’s needed and I love it for being very audio and thought based movies and I just love it🙌🙌🙌🙌.

Saw gets a bad rep and yeah some of them give B movie vibes, but there is actually a cohesive story that is told between them all (minus spiral). Great reaction

The ending music is called "Hello Zepp", by Charlie Clouser, if you want to hear the full song. If you pause your video at 1:43:11, when Jigsaw is laying in the hospital bed, check out the drawing on the table in front of him - it's his designs for the reverse bear trap mask that he forced Amanda to wear. Now that y'all have seen the twist ending...you literally HAVE to watch the rest of the series, because they come back in a future movie to show what happened to Dr. Gordon. There are parts of future movies that get a bit gory, but the sequels are GREAT and have really well-thought out stories. Can't wait to see your reaction to Saw II 😁

I NEVER would have guessed the ending, especially because I didn't think anyone could stay still that long and pretend to be the dead guy.
