Then immediately followed it in 1995 with Batman Returns and Ace Ventura 2. THEN they dropped Cable Guy. It was different to what he had done previously, but yet still familiar. I was 13 when it came out, and I liked it, but wasn’t able to fully appreciate it until years later, especially for the references. I don’t think I had even seen Silence of the Lambs yet.

2023-09-29 20:32:47 +0000 UTCYeah, David Cross. He was only in it for a brief cameo at the beginning as another sales manager. All he does is laugh and repeat stuff that Steven says during the meeting. Small bit part, but I always seem drawn to him and find him hysterical.

2023-09-29 06:17:36 +0000 UTCBoth amazing! If you haven't watched it I recommend Jim and Andy: The Great Beyond. It's a documentary about Jim Carrey basically encapsulating Andy Kaufman during the making and keeping the character 24/7 while filming.

AND I like going against the grain of popular opinion, when people either hate it or don't know about it. This, The Truman Show and Man on the Moon, I think are extremely ahead of their time!

What a combination of actors, Jim Carrey, Ben Stiller, Jack Black with Garofalo, Cross, and Broderick as the straight man. Classic stuff! I had fun with you two. A couple of really different, but really good Jim Carrey movies you should check out: THE TRUMAN SHOW and ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND. Both are really good. Have a great night family!
