American Psycho is what I'm waiting for too. ;)
Dana
2023-10-07 19:31:43 +0000 UTCI’m genuinely confused and am sincerely asking; did I miss the post for American Psycho? I saw it won the poll with Conjuring 2 in 2nd but only see Conjuring 2 posted. Likewise with the Hereditary poll. Or do you guys have a system for the poll posts?
Sean Zaccheo
2023-10-06 00:55:48 +0000 UTCWhy if someone has an opinion they are mad? Christine is a terrible movie.
Jay B
2023-10-02 12:54:53 +0000 UTCYou're mad, 'Christine' is wicked! There are many Stephen King adaptations that are shit but 'Christine' certainly isn't one of them.
Rob Walters
2023-10-02 09:25:58 +0000 UTCY’all should check out “Guy Richies The Covenant” free on prime
Ethan
2023-09-26 08:39:06 +0000 UTCGlad you agree Stacey as they say The Warriors is a cult classic
Kausion
2023-09-24 23:22:23 +0000 UTCI couldn't agree more! Firestarter is another fav of mine of his too, which relates to telekinesis too. Carries more scary though lol
SilverDoe🎔
2023-09-24 16:11:20 +0000 UTCI don't think they've done 2 yet.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-24 15:52:48 +0000 UTCI hope they eventually watch Carrie. The first one with Sissy Spacek is so good. I hope they get around to some Hitchcock movies too.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-24 15:48:51 +0000 UTCI intentionally have watched the decent bc I am a kayaker, and leave around mammoth cave and have wanted to do one of the kayak trips in the cave. I've heard great things about it.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-24 15:46:07 +0000 UTCI wasn’t comparing I just throw what about bob in all my comments lol. I grew up on Freddy Krueger and Michael Meyers, horror with a visible character who takes action is what I like.
Tonna Clemons
2023-09-24 15:45:59 +0000 UTCAgree! I always come back after the poll to read what others have written for their insight on the movies. Some really smart and interesting comments.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-24 15:42:49 +0000 UTCAlso a good movie.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-24 15:39:01 +0000 UTC💯 agree! Great list of movies in the poll.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-24 15:38:22 +0000 UTCI've seen both, and I think the 70s one is better. Few remakes could find an actress as good as Sissy Spacek. I do appreciate that the remakes keep the stories fresh with younger generations though. I usually prefer remakes, but not with Carrie.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-24 15:37:42 +0000 UTCI hope they watch all 3. All movies in the poll are watch worthy. Also, The Warriors is overdue. 💜
Stacey Capito
2023-09-24 15:33:40 +0000 UTCGood one! Very memorable.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-24 15:32:13 +0000 UTCIt is such a good movie and story, plus anything with Sissy Spacek is worth watching. I think one of the reasons why I am hoping the eventually watch Carrie is because it shows how fascinated King was with telekinesis, and he was so well studied and ahead of his time.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-24 15:29:24 +0000 UTC💯 agree with you! The same reason why I voted Conjuring. All great movies on the poll and I'd be happy with any of them, but I think Conjuring is by far the scariest. A&B are great about reacting to the top 2, so I'm happy how the poll turned out.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-24 15:24:23 +0000 UTCI personally love the Conjuring universe movies, they're my favorite in the scary/ horror genre. What about Bob is also one of my favorite comedies of all time. No need to compare them, totally different styles with very different reasons for appreciation.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-24 15:15:47 +0000 UTCThat’s true. But it’s a great thriller. I think it’ll be awesome if they watch saw(2004)

2023-09-23 15:47:38 +0000 UTCI concur.... and What About Bob is hilarious!!!

George Bakis
2023-09-23 00:52:31 +0000 UTCShouldn’t have really included it in the Halloween lot though. It’s not a Halloween scary. They should watch it anyways, but put something else on the poll in it’s place.
Michael King
2023-09-23 00:42:52 +0000 UTCI understand and respect that its just I don't believe a movie they will like that's all.
Kim Cottingham
2023-09-23 00:18:52 +0000 UTC@Lori @TheGuy ive mentioned 1408 previous post a disturbing psychological thriller with an almost claustrophobic never ending sense of dread a nightmare you cant wake up from 😂
Kausion
2023-09-22 23:32:46 +0000 UTCI can't believe ya'll really like the conjuring smh. Anywho i'm still throwing "What about Bob" in here lol.
Tonna Clemons
2023-09-22 22:52:12 +0000 UTCAsia! BJ! You should watch CAPE FEAR for horror October. Directed by Scorsese and has Robert De Niro as one of the creepiest, scariest movie villains of all time. Really twisted but really good.
Dustin
2023-09-22 22:28:59 +0000 UTCI didn't know about it either till i dipped to their playlists in the collection tab lol

2023-09-22 22:22:47 +0000 UTCI don’t know how I missed that! I will go find it and watch it. Thanks Darth!

2023-09-22 21:05:42 +0000 UTCI think Carrie is a must watch, especially for King fans. The Conjuring movies are my favorite, otherwise I'd vote for Carrie.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-22 21:02:55 +0000 UTCExactly me too 🎯💯
Stacey Capito
2023-09-22 20:59:53 +0000 UTCAgreed. I've often thought that once reactors dip their toe into a "universe" they should just watch the films without needing to poll them. I'm sure they will eventually make their way through them all.
TheGuy
2023-09-22 20:58:48 +0000 UTCI agree with your opinion Kim. One is disturbing and the other is scary paranormal. I've seen American Psycho a few times, each time it was ok for me, but I do understand the appeal for some people.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-22 20:57:49 +0000 UTCYes! "1408" is an awesome movie! I've seen it so many times, and still get creeped out when I watch it.
TheGuy
2023-09-22 20:57:17 +0000 UTCYeah, I really wanted Psyco too. It's stood the test of time and changed filmmaking forever. A perfect, classic Alfred Hitchcock movie. I saw American Psycho a long time ago... not scary.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-22 20:53:14 +0000 UTCMe too! They're all so well made.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-22 20:51:00 +0000 UTCJust an FYI. Christine is terrible.
Jay B
2023-09-22 20:34:11 +0000 UTCI agree with that for sure. I just didn't think they would care for American psycho. Just felt it would be difficult movie to watch as its a little bizarre no offense to movie or fans of it and maybe not their cup of tea. In my opinion
Kim Cottingham
2023-09-22 19:53:47 +0000 UTCYou should do the whole conjuring universe, the strangers and sinister…
Cassandra Hayes
2023-09-22 19:03:55 +0000 UTCI disagree. Most of the movies on those franchises keep getting worse and worse. After the original the sequels all seem played out.
Dustin
2023-09-22 18:57:43 +0000 UTCMe too.
Dustin
2023-09-22 18:53:31 +0000 UTCTucker and Dale vs Evil!
Kerry Knight
2023-09-22 16:48:02 +0000 UTCit's easily the best movie out of the list, the rest are stereotypical horror films.

2023-09-22 16:44:00 +0000 UTCPlus you guys would see “bruce Wayne” in a different light 😉
Antonio
2023-09-22 16:23:10 +0000 UTCAmerican psycho is a true classic. Seeing asias face would be golden 😂
Antonio
2023-09-22 16:21:59 +0000 UTCThe two scary movies that terrified me are "The Strangers" - Liv Tyler. And "1408" - Samuel L Jackson, John Cusack. BJ, you'll need a blanket to hide behind...Asia, you'll need TWO. 😳✌️🎬
Lori
2023-09-22 15:37:08 +0000 UTCY’all definitely need to do some Halloween comedies like some more Scary Movie stuff and definitely Hubie Halloween, probably the best Adam Sandler movie of the last 10 years
paul gillenwater
2023-09-22 13:32:04 +0000 UTCWould “The Cabin in the Woods” be considered comedy horror? I’d like for them to watch that one
Sivan
2023-09-22 13:23:46 +0000 UTCWhoa-ho. Very nice. Look at that.

2023-09-22 09:54:53 +0000 UTCVery true i think what some see as horror would lean more toward thriller for example but your explanation here is a perfect example as to the subcategories (so to speak) of what falls under or fits into the "Horror" genre
Kausion
2023-09-22 08:44:11 +0000 UTCI bet you’ll get both ;)

2023-09-22 05:53:24 +0000 UTCAgree to disagree but i love the passion either way my bro. Love it when people can have good discussions and not fight like its youtube lol. What a great community.
Rio Mendoza
2023-09-22 05:43:08 +0000 UTCHereditary is so freaking scary and good. Good list except for The Nun haha.
Rio Mendoza
2023-09-22 05:40:22 +0000 UTCAP is my fav on the list but IMO if they re looking for scary October films im gonna go with a more standard answer and say The Conjuring 2. They are both great i just think recasting my vote works more for what they were asking. But i could be wrong LOL. either way it looks like im going to get at least 1 of them and that makes me happy.
Rio Mendoza
2023-09-22 05:36:53 +0000 UTCDid they specifically ask for scary movies though? American Psycho is for sure the outlier on this list - can’t imagine most people think of it as an “October” movie. However “scary” is only one part of the horror genre. There’s slashers, psychological horror, creature features, body horror, gothic, comedy horror, art house, supernatural, etc. Might as well vote for your fav because horror really is a wide, encompassing thing. It would be fun to get a mixture. 🤷🏻♀️
Miss Melissa
2023-09-22 05:28:20 +0000 UTCI was just thinking about this cause i voted for American Psycho but it really isnt a scary film per se. Maybe i should change my vote to the conjuring 2. I mean if they want scary we should vote for a scary movie not the best movie or our fav movie on the list especially if it is not really a scary movie. Im gonna switch we need scary for October yall know they will watch the other one anyway they are just that good LOL
Rio Mendoza
2023-09-22 04:35:47 +0000 UTCYeah but take a look at the comments for every upload its filled with a million people saying i think you should do X movie next. I get a little tired of it but i understand people want to share what they love with people they love even if it is a bad flick lol.

2023-09-22 04:30:54 +0000 UTCYou're not a horror movie haha

2023-09-22 04:26:30 +0000 UTC#everyvotecounts i think they should still vote for what they really want to watch. You never know they might pick the 3rd or 4th film on the list just to make us happy. They have a really good record for making everyone happy here. Vote for your fav
Rio Mendoza
2023-09-22 04:25:18 +0000 UTCMight be the worst of the franchise IMO. But we all like what we like.

2023-09-22 03:07:06 +0000 UTCEveryone has their own tastes. The OG Carrie is good in it's own right I do agree but I personally enjoy the newest remake compared to the original. Same with the OG IT mini series, the new movies are better just my own personal preference. Kinda how I like Fargo the series, the movie is boring until the final 40 minutes my opinion but I'll watch whatever just for their reactions, even stuff I don't personally enjoy lol.
Darth Brooks
2023-09-22 02:21:26 +0000 UTCYes, few reactors do Christine, out of all the Stephen King movie adaptations out there. Besides, I'm dying to lay on you guys the horror movie franchise connection trivia I can throw at you in the comments to that video, so if you're at all curious, hit us up with Christine at some point, lol.
Renee S
2023-09-22 02:13:44 +0000 UTCThe Decent is another good one. Or even Pandorum...
ShiZZ_DiGG
2023-09-22 02:11:54 +0000 UTCIf you must do any of the far inferior remakes or sequels to Carrie, you're best watching the OG 1976 classic before you subject yourself to that. It's like Novocaine before a root canal. It will make the experience far better on yourself. So there, Darth!

2023-09-22 00:20:26 +0000 UTCCarrie for sure (the original 70s one, not the 2010s one)
Louise
2023-09-22 00:12:40 +0000 UTCAmerican Psycho is my pick but Conjuring 2 is okay, just the same old cut and paste possession flick. All the others are corny at best and/or outdated. If y'all do watch Carrie I'd recommend the newest version with Chloe Moretz, it's lightyears above the original. I said what I said and I love Stephen King don't hate me fam lol. ✌❤

2023-09-21 23:52:27 +0000 UTC3 is the best Parker Posey getting her Gale on so fn hard and I live for it, it partially makes up for Gale's bangs. I despised that look then and still do, lol.

2023-09-21 20:48:07 +0000 UTCCarrie best on list, but doubt it will win cus of it's age. American Psycho maybe next best for quality. 2023-09-21 20:38:49 +0000 UTCI chose the Conjuring 2 because those movies always scare me, but they are all great - you can’t go wrong. Although, I would categorize American Psycho as a satire of yuppie culture and more of a thriller as compared to the others. Don’t get me wrong…it definitely should be on your watch list, I just don’t put it with horror, more like a Silence of the Lambs thriller. Compared to the amped up scares in today’s movies, I don’t find Carrie or Christine that scary…but I get sucked in every time they are on. Just like there’s this vampire movie called 30 Days of Night…I know it’s not the best, but I watch it every…single…time…it comes on! 🤷🏻♀️
Mary Merry Berry
2023-09-21 20:36:54 +0000 UTCI think they watched both, no?
Kingshawukee
2023-09-21 20:33:29 +0000 UTCI voted for Carrie because it’s such a classic. It’s directed by Brian DePalma who is a master of suspense. By far, the best film on the list. American Psycho is another must see. It *is* very disturbing but it’s also one of the most brilliant satires ever made. I think it’s hysterical.
Miss Melissa
2023-09-21 20:32:29 +0000 UTCYou do realize that none of those movies are on the poll? 😆... BUT all great movies 👍

2023-09-21 20:32:15 +0000 UTCAll good picks, and I love all of these movies, but Carrie is hands down the best movie on this list.

2023-09-21 20:30:38 +0000 UTCIf Carrie doesn't win the poll this time, I hope you put it on your October Halloween horror film list. It's a must watch Stephen King classic!
Kimberly Tyda
2023-09-21 20:30:03 +0000 UTCIf you're old, count me just as old, lol. I mean, the classic adaptation of Stephen King's debut into the mainstream of literature?! Sissy Spacek's spot on characterization alone is worth it.
Renee S
2023-09-21 20:27:43 +0000 UTCYou definitely NEED to do Carrie during Halloween month, if you get to NOTHING else. That and Get Out....please? Not making any demands here, lol. Or am I 🤔 I'd hate to see what my telekinetic friends, or the Armitages, could do to you if you fail to heed my "friendly requests." Tee hee

2023-09-21 20:24:45 +0000 UTCI’m so baffled that The Conjuring series is so popular. I had no idea.
Miss Melissa
2023-09-21 20:23:07 +0000 UTCCarrie, Carrie, Carrie -- a masterpiece and classic! Then Conjuring 2. American Psycho is great but, SICK as in, really disturbing. Sorry, Asia....

2023-09-21 20:21:36 +0000 UTCTotal recall, truman show, usual suspects, fight club, the departed, the town,

2023-09-21 20:19:38 +0000 UTCYall should finish the Halloween, Friday the 13th and Scream series
Jah (jakwiq) (Jah Quick)
2023-09-21 20:19:18 +0000 UTCAmerican Psycho is not a horror movie
Davey
2023-09-21 20:15:37 +0000 UTCMaybe I'm getting old but I thought Carrie was the far superior movie here 😆 I've seen all these except Scream 3. All fun movies regardless!
Astrobuckshot
2023-09-21 20:12:26 +0000 UTCAll I'll say is that if you watch Godfather 1 and not 2, that's apex level 10 top of the foodchain peak of the summit reaction blue-balling

2023-09-21 20:12:02 +0000 UTCDamn I really wanted scream 3 lol
Michael Saylor
2023-09-21 20:09:23 +0000 UTCAmerican Psycho is a must IMO!! I look forward to whatever you choose though! It's been too long since Asia's used her blanket!
Krissy
2023-09-21 20:07:54 +0000 UTCCONJURING 2 IS SO GOODDD
Cody Jado
2023-09-21 20:06:47 +0000 UTCDefinitely "The Conjuring 2"
Tara M. Wilcoxon
2023-09-21 20:06:24 +0000 UTCWell, since we're going Asia pulling the "blankee" up to her eyes movies, I vote for Friday the 13th Pt 2. Scary but less gruesome than the other choices.
JL Green
2023-09-21 20:05:54 +0000 UTCYeah, American Psycho is an absolute classic.
Krissy
2023-09-21 20:05:42 +0000 UTCamerican psycho so goood

2023-09-21 20:04:18 +0000 UTCThis is a hard poll!! All great movies. Can yall eventually do them all?
Y'Manni
2023-09-21 20:04:08 +0000 UTCThe fact conjuring freaking 2 is winning in the poll and in the comments, over a classic like Carrie or even a good b movie time with Christine is crazy. The worst offender is the fact that American Psycho, a brilliant satire on the 80's is so far behind Conjuring 2.
Callum Cowan
2023-09-21 20:01:39 +0000 UTCI've seen them all and Conjuring 2 IMO the best of all them. It introduces you to more of the characters in the other movies.
Stacey Capito
2023-09-21 20:00:04 +0000 UTCGotta be the conjuring 2
Zeph
2023-09-21 19:58:02 +0000 UTCAmerican psycho is a banger
