Don’t get confused Belfort’s only crime was that he didn’t obey the rules the real criminals wrote to legally scam everyone else , that’s what he did , he was like street corner dealer compared to Pfizer , they got fined billions for lying about their pharmaceuticals . And they are still in business selling vaccines that don’t work . Caveat Emptor , buyer beware . In 1987 wallstreet collapsed and took world stock markets with them , in 1992 the London currency markets uk interest rates went x4 in two months 18% on my mortgage , in 2008 world financial markets because of sub prime mortgages that Clinton and Bush allowed to happen , and with the exception of a very few companies and Banks and individuals all those institutions are back up and running and we the tax payer bailed them out . Don’t get me wrong he’s a criminal but he’s small potatoes. Where do you think the vast revenues from the illegal drug trade end up , the same offshore bank accounts where Belfort had his , only very few of those ever get looked up because it’s the right kind of people controlling that show . Look at Nancy Pelosi a $200m fortune on a $400k income . Great performances all round . Great film ,crazy , but told it how it was , his exact script for the penny sticks is used all around the globe today as it was all the way back to Glengary Glenross selling Florida Swampland , while Pfizer were pumping housewives full of Valium . You can hear the sales pitch in the film boiler room . Great reaction .

Thanks for recommending it !!! Watching it a second time, it was even better than i remembered!! Man Leo knocked it out of the park ! I think the reason I’ve never watched it again is bc i really don’t understand the stock market and I can really never understand what he actually did that was illegal. I kind of know…but it’s so confusing to me ! But if I stop thinking so hard and just watch the movie, I can really enjoy it ! I watched a small documentary last night after the movie and an interview with him, and this guy is a real POS !! I like Leo better 😂

That’s the actual Jordan that the movie is about. He does sales training, motivational speaking and on YouTube and I think a podcast these days. Not gonna lie. 🤣🤣🤣 As nutz as this one is?
