Better call Saul S1. E9 and E10

Better call Saul S1. E9 and E10

Chuck called Howard at 2am behind Jimmy's back. He told Howard what he wanted. "Don't hire Jimmy." Howard was strong-armed by Chuck. Howard told this to Kim.

I'm from the Chicagoland area, and that is exactly how most of the bars look during the day...there will be the 2 or 3 regulars watching a Bears game or whatever, and then the rest of the place is just dead.

Dan Gonya

Since BJ asked, the gun the guy threatened Mike with was the G22, Mike took it, hit him, and then he pulled out the 1911 Wilson Combat, I couldn't tell what was on his ankle, but the one in the back was a Desert Eagle...I'm half red-neck, we know this stuff.😂

Dan Gonya

Don't give it away. Watching it already is why we watching the reaction today. To watch the show through fresh eyes. Everything eventually is explained. Guys water down their reactions. Just comment on what you saw.

The Cool Uncle A.K.A. Uncle Beatle

Lol the Kevin Costner line was in Breaking Bad. Saul told Walt "Hey, I once slept with a girl becuz I told her I was Kevin Costner, and it worked becuz I believed it." He was trying to cheer Walt up and motivate him.

Howard did want Jimmy then and he wanted Jimmy now. There’s a reason he went down and got cake and congratulated Jimmy gave him the nickname that Pete Rose had Charlie Hustle. Howard likes Jimmy and he cares about him. Howard also cares about Chuck though and he cares about Jimmy enough that he’s willing to play the bad guy be the villain to protect Jimmy so the brother relationship doesn’t strain or sever. He’s protecting both of them by pretending to be the villain. Howard is a good guy. Chuck you schmuck “not a real lawyer” what a joke. The same reason Kim tried to tell him to take the deal “I didn’t want you hating your own brother” Kim and Howard both trying to protect Jimmy.

Bj, the guy Mike throat punched and took his gun , that's the real Trevor from Grand Theft Auto V. They used his face & voice

Josh

Starting to feel like even though they are partners, Chuck is the silent leader of the law firm. Hamlin kinda seems to look up to him to the point that he's willing to wear the public bad guy face to protect what Chuck wants to happen behind the scenes. And when he returned the office, they treated him like when the Godfather was coming back home from the hospital.

CS

Wtf?! Cant you just shut up and let people have the same experience? Nothing more i dislike then people that spoil ugh

SylMyl

No matter how much I try, I can’t stop seeing “Lenny” in Chuck’s face. Lenny and Squiggy were a memorable team.

You know what stopped Jimmy from taking that money? Chuck’s approval. Jimmy spent a lot of time struggling not just in trying to become a successful lawyer. He spent a lot of time in trying to ditch the “Slipping Jimmy” act and build up a reputation that would make his brother proud of him and that would finally live up to Chuck’s expectations of what Jimmy should be in his eyes. Once he was betrayed by Chuck the code he was trying so desperately to live by suddenly slipped a bit yo. He then started looking back at his recent past without the “Chuck approval agenda” and realized all the things he could have done differently. The main one being the 1.6 mill. The Deep Purple tune at the end of the season could be seen as the anthem that coincides with the beginning of the awakening of Saul Goodman. Brilliant writing yo. And it only gets better from here.

Jesse

The actor who played Chuck, also played Lenny in Laverne and Shirley.

Gary Morse

In many ways that is true. Chuck is more jaded by Jimmy because he's had to be his protector and bailed him out. Tough for big brother to accept a role reversal and spend time and energy on someone who has burned him so much.

Stacey Capito

It be your own family sometimes SMH

Karim

it seems like Chuck's pride is the issue. According to Chuck's way of thinking, he worked hard to get where he is, while he thinks Jimmy had it easy getting a law degree. The truth is Jimmy is a better lawyer and Chuck cannot stand that. Chuck had looked at the same files as Jimmy when he was organizing Jimmy's files and missed the class action suit possibility, while Jimmy found it right away.

Gary Morse

Trevor was filthy filthy man.

Andrew Ramos

Yes that and also a few other ones such as “Rush: inspired by battlefield” and I’m pretty sure he was in an episode of Law & Order.

Cole hauser

Other shows as in The Walking Dead

Andrew Ramos

Bob Odenkirk is a phenomenal actor! Glad you guys are enjoying this...It's a very well written show and the cast overall is stellar!

ChipmunkFF

You fucking blew it

Adam smith

what a fucking cunt, spoiling the damn show. fucking narcissist

Kyle Turman

Why do people get on here and act as if they are the only one's with the information, and like a news broadcast, think they're channel 6 with the latest... Why not allow them to be surprised so we all can enjoy the reactions? You should consider deleting this post... damn.

Clockwork360

That's crazy because while I didn't play much of GTA5, I do remember the commericals and a few friends playing the game with him in it. However I know him better as Simon from the Walking Dead.

Clockwork360

Don't do that, it ruins the surprise for them

Davey

Steven Ogg (the guy Mike f'd up) got his big break as Trevor in GTA5

Grushdeva

Not sure if anyone already mentioned it but the actor for Chuck was heavily recommended by Bryan Cranston. Also the big dude standing next to Mike was the driver who drove the hummer for prostitution service (forgot what it actually was but I’m pretty sure it was that) in el camino when Jesse is waiting to get the rest of the money. The other guy standing next to mike was most known for playing Trevor in GTA5 but he’s been in some commercials and other shows also.

Cole hauser

It's definitely a spoiler. Asking a rhetorical question as justification after spoiling is a weak attempt at preemptive deflection.

Andrew Ramos

I was waiting for episode 9 and your reaction to how much of a badass Mike is. did not disappoint!

Brenden

The scene with chuck telling how he really felt with Jimmy is great. Props to Michael Mckean (chuck) for his acting. Really good work. Anyhow, it's very emotional and everything between two brothers, but you can see Jimmy's problem with the situation, and on the other hand you have Chuck's pov (he is really smart) and knows the reality with Jimmy. "You're slippin Jimmy! Slippin Jimmy I can handle, but Slipping Jimmy with a law degree is like giving a chimp a machine gun!" It's like he was smart enough to know to protect the legal system from him, at all costs. "The law is sacred" Chuck says, and nobody is more serious about the law than Chuck. And we all know eventually Jimmy becomes Saul, so we already know he was right. However, we feel betrayed through the perspective of Jimmy because we know Jimmy wants to do right, and looks up to these people, and wanted to be on the right path, but they are too egotistical and untarnished to ever accept him or allow his upward mobility into the society of upright and honorable people.

Robert

Haha, now we're cookin'

Robert

Great reaction to these, for Asia's question about Gus? Yes Gus and "Hector" will join the story. Oh and its not really a spoiler, how could we have a prequel without Gus.

Galaxy's Recorded
