If you want a fantastic movie about heritage and native american culture, I'd love to see you two watch "Thunderheart" with Val Kilmer. I couldn't find any reactions to it on youtube so you'd be the first! It's a brilliant movie that takes place in South Dakota (my home state).

2024-02-20 02:29:54 +0000 UTCLT John Dunbar would have been a Union Army soldier at the end of the CIvil War, so the movie takes place somewhere between 1864-1866, depending on how long it stretches into the future. I suppose the Sioux surrender at ft Robinson Nebraska was a historical event so I guess you could figure out when that happened and count backwards 13 years...

Had to catch up on Stranger Things and Dexter first lol I forgot how sad it made me for the death of the horse and two socks. :( There are still reservations in the states - we must do what we can to protect and help them. One of the most forgotten groups in the states. I remember being on vacation in Arizona and my parents driving out to visit some, in support. Its a vague memory as I was little and stayed in the car. My Dad is part Cherokee so has always been part of growing up. Parents have an authentic warrior breast plate hanging in the living room as well. Similar to what he was given in the movie. Also.. I immediately googled the buffalo scene LOL That as difficult to watch. No animals harmed! Mixture of real and mechanical ones. Whew! hahah

Im glad you guys watched it and liked it! :) It tells a lot about history and shows you how the things were back then... :/ Kevin Costner is in my Top 3 of best actors of all time. He's just so good. As a producer too! I recommend Waterworld, The Postman and Mr Brooks, among other things. You guys take care! <3

The Civil War was from 1861-1865, and he was a Federal (North) Lieutenant. The North wore blue and the south (Confederates) wore gray. Prior to the Civil War beginning, the Federal troops were already out west, and after the Civil War, the Indian Wars (US Government rounding up the Native Indians) were in full swing.

I have a suggestion to achieve this: If you angle your camera up, and move the movie screen up to the top, you could make the screen bigger, while keeping you guys in the frame (perhaps from the shoulders up). This would make watching a movie like Dances with Wolves, with its huge panoramic shots, that much more enjoyable. You could do this just for the reaction part of your show.

2023-07-26 08:21:26 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite movies of all time. This is the type of movie to see on the big screen with its larger than life views. Even though I loved this movie, one thing that always bugged me was his line about this not being a battle about politics or getting land…. I mean… his character was in the Civil War and I think fighting to get rid of slavery was pretty damn important. Yes, yes I get what his point was in the line. It just bugged me. Revenge and No Way Out are also excellent Kevin Costner films too. Awesome reaction. I died when BJ said puff, puff pass… on the prairie grass!

Another one from my childhood where my Mom would watch alll the time haha There is something about older movies that newer ones cannot even come close. I love it and can't wait to watch this one. I didn’t think I would like them. But I swear they are ADDICTIVE as hell 🤣🤣🤣. I HIGHLY recommend. My wife actually orders them by the case directly from Herr’s.

That is because only some few international supermarkets import them to Norway - and because it's a popular snack, they can set the price real high. A bag with 200 g cost 190 kr (18,87 $), so it's really a "luxury" treat for me. Ha ha. I brought many bags home with me last time I visited the US. :)

Being that VIP's are going to be able to watch what they want you are going to get some bad taste which is ok cause you arent forced to watch if you dont want to. I think the best thing to do is to sign up as a VIP which i will be doing cause i really want them to watch Jackie Brown but other than that i dont care what they pick the surprise is half the fun.
