BJ said he thought she was the oldest daughter who lived when the King's first wife died.

2023-07-02 21:48:46 +0000 UTCLmao I kind of think the long breaks between seasons that end in cliffhangers is part of why so many fans get *so* into the lore and theories and stuff. Gotta satisfy the craving somehow! Also, small correction re: the Targaryens and Dragonstone—they actually settled on Dragonstone after they left Valyria but before Aegon I conquered Westeros. So it's sort of like a home base in some ways and since the building of the Red Keep has been the official residence of the heir.

We have children who need our attention, they also are involved in activities, we have 4 YouTube channels, we’re starting a 5th one very soon, we go live 2-4 times a week for (3-4 hours each time), we work 14-16 hours days 5-6 days a week trying to record content for you all, we also have a home to take care of, dinner to cook, clothes to wash, 3 dogs, and a life we have to live outside of this… We’ll do our best to not torture you and make ourselves look stupid, and anything else we are to you, all to make you MORE happy…. Maybe we can work out a longer schedule to figure out when’s the best time we need to stop all those other things to make sure we do what you need when you need it! Hightower is Alicent’s last name (her family name), while Highgarden is a location, the castle/stronghold of house Tyrell in GOT. But you are right about their resemblance, as Margaery’s mom was a Hightower. BJ, princess Helaena Targaryen is not the baby that Viserys had with queen Aemma (Rhaenyra’s mother), that baby died (remember they burn them both in the Pyre). Helaena is the second child of Viserys and Alicent.

There is a lot of neat stuff on You Tube that goes into each episode (like how Allicent’s daughter seemed to be always speaking gibberish but that she accurately predicted that her brother would lose an eye and that Rhanys’ dragon would come from beneath the floor) but I would have never caught it if not for the extras. Also, Allicent actually has FOUR kids …the youngest son is off at their home in Old Town where the Hightowers are from. There were a lot of questions from people when it originally aired asking if they got rid of the character, but they said no and that he would show up later. Also the child that Rhyneara lost was her first baby girl. She had a name (Vysinia maybe?) but I can’t remember. Anyway, I have enjoyed every minute of these two series with you guys. I wish I could rewatch with you! Lol! I am so looking forward to Stranger Things, also Dexter, but Stranger Things for sure! My two movie requests are the Irish Mobster movie Road to Perdition (Tom Hanks) and Suspense/Mystery The Prestige (Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale). Maybe you can do the three seasons of scary/creepy Penny Dreadful in October! Okay, now I’m done making unsolicited suggestions lol.

Highgarden is the home of the Tyrells (Lady Olena, Queen Margaery, and Loras). Both Highgarden and Oldtown are within a region of Westeros called The Reach. In GOT, the Tyrells ruled The Reach. Loras’ and Queen Margaery’s mother is a Hightower while their father is a Tyrell (son of Lady Olena).

He usurped the Throne. Remember Jamie Lannister (the kingslayer) murdered the "Mad King" (Daenerys father) Aerys II Targaryen. Tywin Lannister was the Mad King's hand of the king. So the Lannisters helped R Baratheon take Kings Landing. Before that the Targaryens ruled the 7 kingdoms. Lord Varys helped Daenerys mother and her brother Viserys escape to Dragonstone. Their mother was pregnant with Daenerys at the time. Daenerys was born on Dragonstone, but her mother did not survive the childbirth. Later D and her brother fled to Pentos. <3

They both tried to prevent their dragons from attacking. Also, the dragon that Daemon was singing to belonged to the old king showed in the very first scene of the show.

2023-06-30 23:06:39 +0000 UTCThe reason they paced it the way they did is bcause this part of the book takes place over a span of like 25 years and the writers and directors want the bulk of the show to follow the tail end of that part of the story so there shouldn't b anymore major time jumps. So this season and the almost 20 years what it covered were just the setup for what lies ahead.
