The Sopranos S6. E1 and E2

The Sopranos S6. E1 and E2

I LOVE eel! My favorite roll was something I used to get at a place called House of Kobe. It was called an indy roll. It was filled with cream cheese, warm unagi, and little panko crunchies, then rolled up in the most perfect sushi rice you could imagine, then topped with an avocado fan and smothered in eel sauce. it was the size of my forearm. $5. Those were the days. it probably costs double that now, and that's assuming you can even find unagi.

Boardwalk Empire was the truth! I was dragged kicking and screaming to watch this and every time I tried to walk away it just kept getting better and better until I was hooked.

Clockwork360

I very much echo this!! Boardwalk is outstanding

Time Out Humanity

They incorporate music so we’ll into this series it’s almost like it’s a character itself

Jacob Perez

The show's music is its own character. It aids in telling each episode's story if one pays attention. :)

Dana

You should follow up with Boardwalk Empire (also on HBO) about 1920’s gangsters during prohibition- even has a young Al Capone in there somewhere. Great characters and some (like with GOT) that you will absolutely root for and others you will loathe. I’m glad I’m finally getting to see this last season. When it originally came out I moved and missed the last season so now I can watch with you guys!

Mary Merry Berry

I can’t bribe they are in the last season sopranos! I want to recommend another great series “ Peaky Blinders”, it’s fantastic and set in another time period, the 1920s. Also, “ Boardwalk Empire”… you have the Irish mob , and the English.. people don’t know a lot about. Emmy awarded show. Check them out! Love y’all

I absolutely love the use of music in this show, even just in the scene at Junior's house. As you're in utter disbelief of what's going on, and wondering how we even got ourselves into this predicament, the song playing sends shivers down your spine when it reminds you in this moment that "nothing can be done..."

I think part of the plan by Tony to keep him in deep was to kill that guy.

Michael King

It is easy to get to like some of these characters, but remember the guy who tried to retire just killed someone on Christopher's orders. That was not enough for Tony and when the fbi would not let him retire, was the final straw. He made his bed. I felt sorry for his children.

It’s sad I have to jump in here and suggest you watch “The Boys”. How is that ?

All See’er

Got my own experience of losing my dad unexpectedly when he was in his early 50s. Being a young adult, I found it very difficult to be present for the horror. We made the decision to end his support because he mentioned that was how he wanted it, but that stuff is hard on anyone and your gonna grieve in your own way -- Never let anyone tell you how to manage your own healing.

Potato Jones

Tony Soprano and his close confidantes have been complaining since this series started, that it is not like the old days. It seems like everyone is talking to the feds. You cannot trust anyone, although it was like that in the old days also. There are no retirements in the mob. You will either end up in prison or killed by your associates. Very few managed to live peacefully in their later years.

Gary Morse

Wow - I forgot - a young Agent Colson.

Jerry

The actor who played Bobby said on the Talking Sopranos podcast that it was his real voice, but Michael Imperioli corrected him saying it was “almost” his real accent. I don’t think James G. pronounced his Rs quite like Kevin Finnerty. (I know it’s a small point!)

Julie A

The actor playing the doctor in Episode 2 - Coincidentally is a main character in Dexter as well 😂

Ari

1.Its crazy how much teeth.dentures changes a persons face Uncle June looked 10 years older without them 2.The voice Tony had in episode 2 ... that was James Gndolifinis real voice

Dan Sopranos

“Kevin Finnerty’s” accent was very close to the way James Gandolfini actually spoke. Not exactly, but much closer than the thick accent he put on for Tony Soprano.

Julie A

The next episode continues the dream sequence and your on to it already. Great writing and acting this season. The last episode I request be live. It’s the best.😀✌🏼

Dan63

And Silvio is played by Miami Steve from The E Street Band if you didn’t know :)

rogers1892

You’re right. Frankie Valli has been playing Rusty for awhile now, in a few episodes.

Cynthia M Farrington

“Man, I feel bad.” BJ basically described all of season 6 right there. Masterful final season but tough to watch for a lot of reasons.

John Collins

"They poop and pee on themselves" HAHA BJ always with the funny

Rio Mendoza

Yes <3 but why did you take the season 6 cover for season 5 and for season 6 now the season 5 cover? :D

BlackLion

“I can’t catch a ::darn:: break!” Cuts to a rat nobody suspected croaking right as he’s about to implicate Tony in a murder lol. Season 6 is some real dark comedy

John Collins

Damn i was just about to go do some lawn work. Guess its gonna be put off till the weekend hahaha
