Such a Great movie, Enjoyed watching it with you guys.

Ozzy24

One of my all time favorites. 10/10

Dodger Blue 311

One of my Favorite Movies! My all time crush is Kevin Costner so that’s an added plus❤️! So many good movies with him.✌🏻☀️

Goldie Schooch

I highly recommend another very feel-good baseball movie -- A League Of Their Own (the movie, NOT the series)

Joel

I was so excited to see that you watched this movie. I cry every time, and have seen this film more times than I can count. As a kid growing up, playing catch with my dad was such crucial bonding time, so you can imagine the emotion this brings! To me this story boils down to Ray's need to find peace within himself. And helping people along the way that also need to find that. In doing so he is rewarded by finding that peace. Like they always say, you get back 10 fold what you give to others. There is a movie based on the White Sox, and Shoeless Joe Jackson.... It's called 8 Men Out. It is very good with a huge cast.

Jason Ragan

Great reaction video. Great movie. James Earl Jones also voiced Darth Vader. Played a ton of baseball and played catcher all the way up to VFW regions, got the bad knees to prove it and this movie is still in my top five baseball movies. Please do a Major League reaction video!

Nicky the Greek

Why do I feel like you watched this movie to get me to re-subscribe? Cuz this is my favorite movie!!! Well, I did!

Heather

Kevin Costner is very Christian Slater-ish he's good but, he sucks at the same time. To paraphrase The Late Great Patrice Oneal He has a few movies that are regarded as bad but, aren't really Like water world & the Postman. The untouchables last line made me want to throw the vhs tape ,the vcr & TV into the dumpster the first time seeing that. Yes vhs tape it was a long time ago

shawn boyce

I was cracking up so hard at this volleyball conversation haha

Brandi Davis

This is such a sweet little gem of a movie. I love Kevin Costner. Check out Revenge, No Way Out, Dances With Wolves and Bull Durham (another baseball movie). The Natural is another good one about baseball. A classic fun one is the Bad News Bears (1976 version)

Pink Martini AZ

I love that you did this movie. My dad loved baseball so much and everything about this movie makes me so sentimental.

Mary Merry Berry

Moonlight Graham was a real person as well. The people they spoke to in the town were not actors they were people who actually knew him. Burt Lancaster and James Earl Jones were veteran actors awesome to watch playing their characters.

I believe the Chicago White Soxs play a series in that exact field in Iowa once a year.

Brandon Jarrett

This movie came out when I was 5. My mom took me to see it. No matter how many times I have seen it, it never gets old. Its a movie about redemption. Love this movie and the movie score by James Horner puts you in a mood and trance. Love James Earl Jones speech. And yes that is the voice of Darth Vader.

Dan Gershgol

Funny you say Nolan Ryan is your favorite player my middle name is Ryan after Nolan Ryan and my first name is named after another baseball player my dad and I love baseball growing up I probably watched every documentary on baseball played all through high school my dad coached me throughout every year we went to at least 2 dodger games and when I got my license I drove my parents to dodger stadium for a game everytime I watch this movie it’s like someone cutting onions when he says hey dad wanna have a catch. Growing up my favorite players were and still are mark McGwire Derek jeter and ken Griffey jr you should definitely check out for love of the game

3BeerThunder

One of my absolute favorite movies of all time. The ending always gets me. ❤️

Shannon

For people that love baseball sandlot is the movie we love as kids as teenagers it’s major league as adults for love of the game but as we grow old and start having children it’s field of dreams that touches the heart and makes you fall in love with baseball as children no big stadium just a field and playing catch with your dad

3BeerThunder

BTW Burt Lancaster who played the character Moonlight Graham was one of the greatest actors of the 50's and 60's. Actually one of the greatest ever. I hope one day you'll do a deep dive into his films like the Sweet Smell Of Success, Elmer Gantry, or The Birdman Of Alcatraz.

JL Green

I'm so glad you enjoyed this movie. I always get something new from it every time I watch it. Thanks for making my day Asia and BJ. You two are the absolute best 👌🏾

JL Green

The voice was Ray. In a whisper. That's why Ray said to Shoeless Joe "it was you" and Joe said "no, Ray, it was you." I've loved this movie since I saw it when I was like 12.

Amy Silknitter

A classic. Love James Earl Jones in this.

Randy Ripley

This is up there as one of my top ten movies of all time - its soooooo heartwarming - about regrets, family, second chances and love and faith, standing by YOUR convictions when most think you're wrong, except one who stands by you no matter what, that's special in itself and so rare... Thank you soooo much for doing it. You're amazing! :)

Fantastic movie. It’s the best game to play, love baseball still to this day. Love of the game and Bull Durham are 2 other Kevin Costner baseball movies. MLB has played a game there the last 2 years. Not this year due to construction. Hopefully they will return in the future.

Dan63

the rookie is a great one, a true story

Karl Kraus

This is one I'm ESPECIALLY glad you chose to watch it's one of the most tender movies you HAVE watched on your channel and I thank you for it The field you see for the movie actually exists, being built for it in 1988-89 it has since become one of America's most popular visiting spots it's open from the spring until November Plus, an actual ballpark was built next to it about a couple miles down the road a few years ago and the first game had a matchup of the Yankees and... you guessed it... the White Sox, and they won with a walk-off 2-run home run into the cornfield, a true storybook ending MLB then decided to play a few games in that stadium every year When my family took a Midwest trip during the summer of '95, when I was just over one year old, I was taken along to the Field of Dreams site my older brother and father even played catch on the diamond in fact, my father and at least two of my uncles were born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa so the state is bonded with our family and my grandmother was born in Chicago, so we are White Sox fans as well as Braves fans, since we live in Atlanta I have Midwestern blood in my veins and I'm very proud of that fact For those two reasons, this movie is an all-time favorite, along with it having it remind you of the charm of the game of baseball, how it lives in your heart forever and solidifies family ties Shoeless Joe Jackson was one of the best baseball players ever... period He was well-rounded in every skill - hitting, fielding, throwing, etc. He was one of the eight White Sox banned because he was illiterate and didn't know taking the gamblers' money was wrong He and his seven teammates have been wrongfully outcasted for decades in the history books even though they were acquitted Ty Cobb was a menace on the basepaths He had the stolen bases record for almost 50 years He stole home plate 54 times, a record that stands today! He's a player that I like alot too and one reason why is that he was from Georgia, like I am He was called "the Georgia Peach" Plus, he and Jackson were good friends so that "couldn't stand him" line is not true It's in there just for laughs Thank you again for watching this, although I expected some tears for the scene at the end

Karl Kraus

It's a field that fulfilled dreams. Like the doctor's dream. His Dad came back & fulfilled his dream to play catch. Terence's dream to play baseball at a stadium (can't remember name). All the players dreams to play.

Delia Sewell

“IF YOU POST IT, WE WILL WATCH.” This is such a great classic movie yo. Even if you didn’t play or watch sports as a kid this flick can still transport you back to that childhood like magical feeling/time. Thanks Asia BJ and Fam. Something to look forward to tonight. ☮️💙 ⚾️

Jesse

Dancing With Wolves, Open Range

Delia Sewell

THANK YOU!!!! This is one of my all time favorites. I don't know how many times I've seen it, and I still cry at the end.

Joanie Archetto

I haven't seen this movie since I was a kid. Definitely a classic. Some other amazing Kevin Costner films that I'd recommend would be 1. Perfect World 2. The Bodyguard 3. Wyatt Earp 4. The War 5. Cry-Baby (Not a Kevin Costner film, but definitely one of Johnny Depp's best projects) Great Review in advance. Take Care ...

No Name

So glad you guys are getting to this one! Fun watch, might need some Kleenex, but keep your eye on the late Ray Liotta. One of his most memorable non gangster type roles 😀

Renee S

I'll just put this right here. In volleyball the technique is developed to make contact with the ball with as much flat surface as possible to control ball spin and direction. So a flat open hand spike is preferred because spiker has ability direct ball as well as control ball spin (so it floats like a knuckle ball that is thrown) If spike is fisted ball could hit a knuckle and could veer in unwanted direction

Monica F Vieyra-Sandgren

This also will be my first time watching this. Other baseball movies to watch The Benchwarmers (2006) Angels in the outfield (1994 The Sandlot(1993) Rookie of the year(1993) The Rookie(2002) Both Bad News Bears movies (1976) & (2005) And even though I never saw it yet (Major League)

Lewsifer

OMG STOP. One of my all time favorites! And as always RIGHT ON TIME Thanks you, you two Angels <3

JessicaB

Golly! The amount of work you two put in is astounding! This is gonna be a great one. Can't wait to watch. Aloha

Flyin Hawaiian

This movie is a classic.

Jill Gehrke

Charlie Choate
