Forty Wings 😂

Saturday Night Beaver

This truly is one of the best shows out there, probably in my top 5, maybe even top 3

Chase Leviner

Camelot is a reference to President Kennedy's administration

Steve buscemi was not in the waterboy but he is in a lot of Adam Sandler movies. He's also in Conair and the star of boardwalk empire which is another TV series you should check out which is done by the same people that did sopranos.

To be fair, it is a black bear — the towel on his head could probably scare it off.

Asia pointing out that they just left Artie out in the yard knowing full well there’s a bear on the loose is something I’d never thought of and made me laugh out loud. Really enjoying this rewatch with y’all

John Collins

Steve Buscemi is in a lot of Adam Sandler movies, but I don't think he's in Waterboy. He is in the Big Lebowski as Donny, the third wheel, shy friend.

Time Out Humanity

Yep Exactly.

Asia vs…. The gnat! Who will win? I always loved it when they grab Carmella and throw her in the pool and make her play Marco Polo and wanting her to relax and play. I was cracking up when BJ said, “it’s ok” when Tony was trying to get her top off and Asia laughing too saying, “it’s just like the guy.” Haha you two are so fun to watch this stuff with. Love ya both.

I had to look this up but the reason the episode was called 'In Camelot' is because J.F.K's administration under his presidency was nicknamed Camelot

Christopher's friend is actually a well established actor in real life. Kind of a play on his character in this episode. And if you watched any Superman cartoon from 90s til recently, he's the voice of Superman. Just a lil outside of the lore tidbit.

I think you guys missed a bit at the end of In Camelot. When Tonys talking to the guys, he tells them she was JFK's gf for 3 years, he snuck her into the white house, Jackie Kennedy thought the marriage was over... Fran said none of that, she said JFK had a one night stand with her, thats all. But Tonys lying to the guys trying to make it seem way bigger, like this woman was a big deal-& hes doing that so he can feel his dad was a bigger deal than he was, bc he dated her. This ep is about Tony realizing his dad isnt the perfect italian stand-up tough guy he thought he was, and that his mom, as bad as she could be at times, was also treated pretty badly & disrespected by his dad. He's trying to figure out who's side to take, and its hard bc hes realizing that none of them-his dad, his mom, or his dads mistress, were very good people.

Great reaction, and I think Asia is right about that woman meeting Tony at his father’s grave might not have been a coincidence. She could be reading obits just like Junior does! She was really milking Tony and who even knows if she actually met JFK? Also, “Marco Polo” was written by Michael Imperioli (Christopher). I think that was the 7th one he wrote. I really liked that episode. We all want Tony and Carmella back together- minus his cheating!

From Google - Why were Kennedy's called Camelot? Together these women shaped the public's remembrance of President Kennedy by likening him to King Arthur, a hero who embodied courage, diplomacy, and self-sacrifice. They also created the perception that the Kennedy presidency was like the era of Camelot, a mythical time associated with a sense of unfulfilled promise. JFK is an icon of Tony's. JFK had MANY mistresses, including Marilyn Monroe.

Dana

Camelot is what people called the JFK presidency. Like Jack and Jackie were the American royals.

Welp just finished JW4, guess I might as well see what Tony's up to. Thanks y'all, stay blessed and be well.
