Oh no, Carmella got one of those, "i'd like to speak to the manager!" haircuts!

Dan Gonya

1:40:13 chrissy tells tony the way he eats hes gonna die of a heart attack by the time hes 50. James gandolfini died of a heart attack after contiuous weight gain at age 51, crazy. Also, christopher sitting on the dog is fkn hilarous

Eligh Te

I know I am late to this party, but I had to post a comment. The scene where Adriana finds her dog dead. BJ had a typical guy reaction, and Asia had a typical girl reaction. You guys are hilarious, I love it! Thanks BJ for making this girl laugh when I was trying to have an Asia reaction. lol Love you guys! On the real you are the only reactors I watch and pay Patreon too.

Jenny B

I'm just glad now I'm not the only one who couldn't stop laughing at Chris sitting on the dog

Harry Cumsock

Little fact, apparently in an interview the writer for this episode said that Ralph really was the one that killed the horse, we kinda already figured but that confirms it. I really hated Ralph 😅 what Tony did to him was a long time coming

Enter: Steve Buscemi

Time Out Humanity

Now that Ritchie Aprile and Ralph are gone, it will be interesting to see who the next character that arrives to bug Tony. When one irritant is gone, it seems that another soon replaces them.

Gary Morse

Hi Gary I had the exact same issue. I had to switch browsers. For some reason chrome hates Patreon. Opera browser works well.

Rob

He did not admit it, but he also did not deny it, so we were both wrong. I'm done arguing with you. Not fun.

Cynthia M Farrington

I never said he didn’t do it. Of course he did. Lol. I said he didn’t admit to doing it, as you said in your original comment.

Julie A

He never said he did not do it. He tried to deflect by saying what sick f... would do such a thing on purpose, but we all know and Tony certainly did too, that Ralphie was a sick f... who killed a woman by beating her to death, had Ro's son killed when the others were trying to protect him and who knows what else. He refused to pay the vet and Tony had to do it. He even mentions the colic and vet bills and the fact that his son's therapy bills were going to be expensive, but he would find a way to pay for it. And he talks about how it's a good thing. Geez, read between the lines.

Cynthia M Farrington

BJ made a good point a few episodes ago that Tony is doing the same to Ralph as what the Assemblyman did to him with Irina. After finding out about it, Tony lashes out (literally) on the Assemblyman, just like Ralph lashes out on Tony through Pie-Oh-My. Of course its not confirmed but I feel you can tell Ralphie is lying right as Tony enters his apartment and then throughout the scene is partially admitting to it.

Janitor

Man… I thought Tony was going to kill Christopher on that point alone. You know how ole boy be feeling about animals now.

Pink Martini AZ

Ralphie totally did it. He’s a big time liar. He’s a pro at it.

Pink Martini AZ

Omg EVERY single time I see that actor in a movie or show I say, “hey, it’s Guido! The killer pimp.” Hahahaha

Pink Martini AZ

It's a must that you guys start "Lilyhammer". You guys laughing at Sil during the intervention when he mentions Chris' hair is perfect. Sil is the main character in Lilyhammer, the plot, backstory and characters are brilliant. I'm pretty sure no one got a Sopranos spinoff show. But Steven Van Zandt (Silvo) has gold with Lilyhammer and the closetest thing to a spinoff of the Soprano's franchise. SVZ being a musician with Bruce Spingsteens band also makes for great music in the series.

IRLEPL

Gary, you may need to try a different browser or look at your settings. We will also try to look into it for you.

Asia and BJ

The squished dog always makes me laugh. I saw you laughing too

Tony- “You did it.” Ralphie- “No I did not, but so what? It’s just a horse”. Yes, Ralphie is a psychopath and the most horrible character ever on the show. I’m not saying he didn’t do it. I’m just saying he denied doing it, but told Tony it was for the best. From the start you could see Ralphie didn’t care about the horse, just the money. So, I don’t think it would be a stretch to think that he didn’t do, but also didn’t understand why Tony was so upset about a horse dying. I figured he did it, but Michael Imperioli (Christopher) and Steve Schirripa (Bobby) were both pondering it on their podcast. They were on the show and didn’t even know for sure! I’m not trying to argue with you. I’m just really into the show and enjoyed the Talking Sopranos podcast because they talked about things I totally missed. If you’re really into The Sopranos you should check it out on YouTube. They go through each script and pick them apart.

Julie A

I just rewatched it and Ralphie did not deny doing it. When Tony suggests that he may have used the same guy they used to burn down the restaurant, Ralphie starts saying how lucky they got and all the reasons it’s a good thing the horse died. He sure seems to me to be trying to convince Tony that what happened was for the best. Ralphie is a psychopath.

Cynthia M Farrington

Yeah, I think he definitely did it. I guess different people see different things in his performance, because to me he looked and sounded like he was trying to weakly deny it, and then kind of admit it without admitting it, and finally went full “who cares?! It was just a horse!”

Michael King

Michael- I watched the Talking Sopranos podcast for that episode last night and Michael Imperioli said the director told Joey Pants (as they call him) to play it as if he were innocent. That doesn’t mean he was, but they left it ambiguous. In my mind, he did it.

Julie A

I cannot see the video. screen says because of its privacy setting it cannot be played here.

Gary Morse

Well. . .🤷‍♂️

Michael King

He denied it. He just said it was a lucky break. We don’t know if he actually did it or not.

Julie A

Cynthia M Farrington

I died too BJ, "He musta crawled under there for warmth!"

Jay McLaughlin

Asias face when she saw Ralphies head 😮 😮 😮 🤣

Dan Sopranos

Guido the killer Pimp lol

Ramona Ugalde

JessicaB

When a very close friend of mine and I watched this show for her first time (it was like my 10th time lol) a few days after we watched The Strong, Silent Type I suddenly got a copy of Tony's painting in the mail with a note "To my beautiful, innocent creature" lmao

p0sthum4n

Everyone mentions the Matrix but I remember Joe Pantoliano (Ralphie) from the 80's Tom Cruise film Risky Business where he played a pimp. He's been playing jerks for decades.

Dana

You guys are so awesome, i really needed a distraction today & was so glad when this popped up :) Sopranos is one of my fave shows and youre doing a fantastic job reacting to it! One future watch suggestion: please do Spartacus Blood and Sand! Theres just 5 seasons total i think-3 regular and i believe 2 prequel seasons. Its about a gladiator training school in ancient Rome and you'd both love it, its got action, intrigue, hot guys and girls running around in sexy costumes, amazing fights and stunts, serious moments & funny ones, and you truly start caring about the characters. 🩷

Mer Kitten

I hope your pet gets better soon

Jake Martin

did you know Ralphie is the guy who back-stabbed the good guys in the Matrix :) Easier to tell when they pulled his toupee off.

Behind the scenes trivia for the 9th episode- Don’t read if you haven’t watched it yet! Jim Gandolfini and Michael Imperioli (Chris) had to wait a few hours at that location before they could throw the “heavy package” in the water, so they went back to Jim’s trailer and drank a bottle of Wild Turkey. They were so drunk when it was finally time to shoot the scene that the higher ups decided to chain one leg each to trees so they wouldn’t fall over the edge and die. The crew put bushes in front of their feet so viewers couldn’t see the chains. 🤣🤣🤣 Also the actor who played Ralphie won an Emmy for that episode.
