Game of Thrones S5. E9 and E10

Game of Thrones S5. E9 and E10

Comments

The White Walkers can only pass The Wall, if someone brings them in...Like, when they brought the dead guy in, and Sam told them that it was weird that the body had no odor...The body was a wight, and it ended up getting up later that night, and tried to attack Lord Commander Mormont. Then, Jon killed it. But, White Walkers cannot just walk around The Wall, or climb it, because, when it was built, magical spells were put into The Wall, so they could not pass.

Erin Black

It was so awful, that Jon Snow's own people, killed him. And, another thing, that is messed up, is: Lord Commander, Jeor Mormont (Jorah Mormont's Father), was killed by his own people (The Night's Watch), as well, when they mutinied, at Craster's home. Olly...Aahhh...Really hit a nerve, even more, than the other bastards, that stabbed Jon. Jon was more honorable, than anyone on the show, after Ned died. It's crazy that Jeor Mormont (Played by James Cosmo), also played Warrior Campbell, in "Braveheart". William Wallace's best friend, was Hamish Campbell (Played by Brendan Gleeson), and Warrior Campbell, was Hamish Campbell's Father in the movie. He was a tough old man. I could not believe the same man, played Warrior Campbell and Lord Commander, Jeor Mormont, because "Braveheart", is such an old movie, and he looked younger in "Game of Thrones". The crazy thing is: One of the events, that inspired the "Red Wedding", was "The Glencoe Massacre of 1692". It was a reversal of "The Red Wedding". The Campell's Clan came to the Clachaig Inn, ran by the MacDonald's Clan (They were considered an enemy of the Crown). They said they needed to stay there, and they made a plan to exterminate them. Twelve days into their stay, they attacked their hosts, while they were asleep, and brutally massacred them. They even killed the women and children. They burned down their homes. The women and children that fled from their homes, died from exposure. Thirty-Eight people were killed. They broke the law, of " Murder Under Trust", or "Slaughter Under Trust". To this day, the Clachaig Inn, has a sign on it, denying entry to Campbell's. I just thought it was ironic that James Cosmo, played in a movie, about Scotland, and an actual historical event (There were two or three events, that inspired it), that inspired "The Red Wedding", in "Game of Thrones", and in a Fantasy show, in Medieval times, that includes "The Red Wedding", that was about "Murder Under Trust". Even though, they didn't mention the "Massacre of Glencoe 1692", in the movie, "Braveheart", they filmed part of the movie in the Glencoe area, and it was said to have a lasting impact on the residents, of the area. That is what one of the film extras said. He said it impacted him deeply. I have some Scottish blood in me, but I would never do that...I also have Dutch, Irish, English, and Cherokee...And, probably some heritage, that I din't even know about. I need to do one of those DNA tests. I am a mutt...Lol.

Erin Black

Cersei had to walk about 2.5 miles, from "The Great Sept of Baelor", to "The Red Keep". Everyone was making fun of her, because she had the body of a woman, whom has had multiple children. They threw rotten food, feces, male bodily fluid, bloody rags from women, during their time of the month, etc. It was completely gross, but it shows all of those different things, if you look close enough. I heard, that her "Walk of Atonement", was even worse in the books. And, when Jon Snow died, I wanted to go find Olly in real life, and do the Homer Simpson choke (That's putting it mildly) on him. I get that Olly was upset that Wildlings killed his parents and the people he knew, but these people had no brains at all, if they thought they could beat The Army of the Dead, without their help. I am glad that I didn't watch this show until 3 years ago, because I couldn't imagine waiting years to get through all 8 Seasons. If I had to wait a year or more, in between Seasons, I honestly, probably would have quit watching, after Season 1, due to Ned's head getting cut off. And, there are some more scenes, as well, that would have made me quit watching, if I had to wait a year, to see what was going on. I am so glad that I stuck with it. I have the books. I am about to start reading them. It is too bad, that George R.R. Martin, is not going to finish them. I watched "House of the Dragon" last year, but I didn't think it compared at all, to "Game of Thrones". I cannot wait until the spin-off about Jon Snow comes out.

Erin Black

The Dothraki Tribe that surrounded Daenerys, is not the same tribe Khal Drogo was from. They had different tribes, just as Native American Indians, have different tribes. They know of Khal Drogo, when his name is mentioned though.

Erin Black

The scream that Princess Shireen let out, is something you cannot unhear...What a horrible, horrible thing. I don't care, if I was the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. I wouldn't even spank my children with a belt, to get the Throne...Much less, burn my child alive. 🤯😭🤮🤬

Erin Black

Arya didn't recognize Mace Tyrell (Margaery's Dad). She recognized Ser Meryn Trant (The guy that killed her fencing instructor, Syrio Forel). He was on Arya's List...He was, actually the first person, to be put on her list of people, she wanted to kill.

Erin Black

Ya they pretty much doomed the world by killing Jon here, he was really the only one that could unite everyone.

shane chipman

Unfortunately, this season finale is pretty much where the show runners ran out of books to follow and had to start making shit up...

Dan Gonya

I never liked Stannis to begin with, but after episode 9, I was like, nope, he can rot in hell!

Dan Gonya

Hahaha!

OneStGermain

Remeber we had to wait for a whole new season to be filmed with the horror of that episode .

mark barratt

I got my cousin to watch this series and i watched it with him. Episode after episode he would say a variation of how horrible it was what happened. Episode after episode i would always tell him: It only gets worse. as bad as you just watched. it will get worse...

Wolf

Stannis burning his daughter was probably the most disturbing thing in the whole show...of course among MANY disturbing things about GOT

PianoDean

Both of your faces at the end summed up the feeling perfectly when this happened. The pain was so real. Im rewatching with you all now and am so happy you kept going. I boycotted for a year after this aired but made myself watch season 6. So glad I did!

Eve Griffin

When GoT came out oot DVD it came out on sets by Season, on those sets had special features in the Menu, on those special features was "The history and lore" of the Seven Kingdoms, it will give you a basic understanding on Religion, the Great Noble houses of Westeros, Fables, Myths and Songs. Im very sure we'd love to see them and you're 5 seasons behind at this point.

HookεrBooτz

🤣🤣🤣 yeahhhhh no receipt no “Returnment”

Trucker RollinThick

It's "Atonement" not "Returnment" lol. As in atone for your sins.

Asia. You were motionless stunned after the season finale. Love it. 3 more seasons and it continues to get better. I’m enjoying watching the greatest tv series of all time all over again with you two. I went through the same emotions you are. On to season 6

Ron Shimon

Rowan it’s interesting you say that because I never knew about the Sean Bean curse till I read the comments here on their account.

Pink Martini AZ

It's like Dexter post season 4 in my opinion, where it's not that all of it is terrible, but it's just that it went from GOAT status to just eh. And going from being one of the biggest and most exciting to falling off to where people don't really remember it fondly is a biiiiig gap. I think the gap technically begins here, but I agree with you on 7.

Potato Jones

Season 6 and 7 are some of the best episodes of the entire series.

Joseph

Lol, not even close. Parts of 7 is when it started to lack.

Michael King

Mine was brother uh....ducker?

Rowan

Maybe I'm too perceptive but the second I saw Sean Bean playing Ned I was like, "Oh hell. Well he's gonna die, dang." Most that know me know that was a very watered down version of what I really said. But seriously, Sean Bean dies in almost every damn movie! He's more famous for that than his amazing acting.

Rowan

This will be fun to see how having the whole series affects your viewing. That wait being so long messed with your mind if you waited when the show was airing. Since you can watch the next two episodes really soon from now, it'll definitely be fun to see how you react. The show is kinda boo-boo from here on out. No offense to the people who like it, but I feel like the quality got sapped lil by lil post season 4. It still has some awesome moments though, and for a first watch it'll be fun to see Asia and BJ react :) .

Potato Jones

I felt horrible when they killed John Snow. I had to wait a whole year before deciding whether I was going to continue watching the series or not, but I'm glad I watched it all!

Eddy

i cannot wait for you guys to see the next season

Damon Young

Welll---- you've seen it. Hard one to watch. I remember not being able to pick my jaw up off the floor after this one. Please stick with it. Have to see what happens you do. This show will beat ya up and hold you down to you say Mercy- Hence the title of the last episode. Please watch to the end. It's a ride folks- its a ride. I feel your pain- I remember it

Lee Stephenson

If y'all watched the background lore episodes you would understand not only about the Many Faced god but a lot of things that you don't understand. Truth is you don't even know all the things you don't understand

Black Valyria

when you first started this journey I warned you. Do NOT have throwable objects near by. After 5 season, I'm sure you now understand why I said that. 😋😂🤣😅😋

jason

master of the water dance 😬

SylMyl

😂😂😂

SylMyl

I love Tyrion since the first episode 🖤🍷

SylMyl

Lmfao 😂😂😂 I cried laughing when she said it and repeated it and was like yea I think thats his name 😂😭

SylMyl

I was about to comment on the same scenes. What they did to Princess Shirin breaks my heart everytime. Cerseis walk of shame makes me cry too. and well… Jon 😢.

SylMyl

Too true. The first time I watched this series I had little nicknames for everyone. My nickname for Cersei was, “The Bee-yatch.”

Pink Martini AZ

Right?

Pink Martini AZ

Season 6 is the best one, keep going! You will not regret it!

Brandi Davis

Last scene was when my friends and me chose our houses. One was crying, one was doing the I'm never watching this again. I was like so glad he's dead

I’m sorry but Cersei had all that coming. Not for her sexual improprieties, but her manipulation finally backfired.

Karim

3 powerful queens... all de-throned. Cersi, Marjorie, Dany....

Greg

She’s lucky Jorah loves her so much. She’d be dead if not for his persistence. She made the decision to reopen the fighting pits without his council. I think she underestimated how much he’s helped her along the way. Her knee-jerk decisions are starting to catch up to her.

Miss Melissa

I’ll never be over Ned. And I think he casts such an interesting shadow over the rest of the show. Only in 9 episodes, yet he’s still on our minds and in our heart years and seasons later.

Miss Melissa

I don’t think they meant “only the Starks”. I’m sure they like Tyrion and Dany. And others too that don’t get as much screen time. The Starks are a natural top choice though, as they are our entry point into the show. They’re our “home team”. We spent much of the first season getting to know them and know that they’re all noble and loyal people and that sticks with us. Tyrion doesn’t need as much of a defense as you might think. Many identify with him as the outcast or the underdog and see his actions as justified. Same with Dany. The fun part is finding out we might come to like some of the more morally gray characters. Jamie Lannister, for instance.

Miss Melissa

It was Tyrion for me early on as well with Arya a close second and then Jamie, Sansa, Lord Varys, and Lady Olenna all following at various times. Littlefinger is a sleeze but Aiden Gillen plays him so well that I enjoyed watching him, too.

Alicia

Speaking of, that was also a really good movie imo

Alicia

These two episodes are brutal. Hang in there.

Wayne Polk

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha y’all’s face at the end 🤣

Blake

Theon and Sansa going all Thelma and Louise off the top of the castle, Arya goes blind, Jamie and Cersi's daughter dies, Drogon not looking good, Khaleesi is in the middle of a bunch of Dothraki, Stanis dies (and rightfully so after what he did to his own daughter).....SO much went on in this episode.....But hang in there......there's still lots to come!

Chris Marrero

Meryn Trant, the guy who was killed by Arya was the one who killed her fencing instructor Syrio Forel

Stephen Blair

She said sir Jorski 😂😂😂

Adam smith

BJ, I was totally like you at the end of this episode and feeling the pain of Ned Stark all over again. I’m still not over Ned Stark. Still. Then the betrayal happened all over again with Jon Snow. And then Asia said what many others said, “I’m not watching this anymore.” This show is that good.

Pink Martini AZ

When recounting your favorite characters, you said "only the Starks". Kind of amazed that Tyrion isnt a favorite. I remember having this conversation with people back when the show was in its original run as a lot of people I knew didnt like him, whereas I liked him pretty much from the start. Once you take away the whole "Lannister" thing.....he isnt a bad guy at all! Got Bran on a horse, befriended Jon Snow, treated Sansa decently, really more than almost anyone else, and is trying to aid Danaerys . Ok...yes....killed his father and Shae, but who among us is perfect?:)

John B Winters

I would say 99% of the people watching GoT back in the day watched this season finale and said "Not going to watch anymore". We did though. Stayed mad for nearly a year, but then sat down and watched the season 6 opener like moronic sheep. Can't wait until you get back to it.

Tombstone Shadow

Atonement is the act of paying for your sin.

Cynthia M Farrington

Asia calling Ser Jorah, Serjorsky is my favorite thing ever.

Tj

It’s so messed up what he did. It’s almost showing the terrible things that a human can do when they’re desensitized and too focused on power. He started off sacrificing family members, his men, his brother and then it was like his daughter, even though he was torn up about it, I don’t think he could have done that on the first day of all this lord of light sacrifice crap but he surely got there 😞

Elizabitty213

In the Gladiator scene I thought the same thing Asia. Where’s the strength of the Unsullied yo? BJ got it right imo though. There was just a small fraction there for security and The Sons of Bitches, umm I meant of the Harpy knew it beforehand and planned it accordingly. Notice as soon as Daenerys flies away on Drogon that the Harpy immediately scatter and disappear. Revealing that the Queen’s death was the main mission objective. Not her council. I was worried about them for a few moments without any “Fire Insurance” yo.🔥

Jesse

Yup and I wouldn’t be surprised if the faceless men knew that someone on her list would be coming to that port, so they gave her a task of someone who is posted up there, to test her.

Elizabitty213

By far my favorite watch along. Keep em coming 🙌

Deavon Richards

When mr. no one, told her she was still “someone” is because she was supposed to be serving the many faced god and not doing “Arya Stark business” of killing someone’s on her list. He said “to someone, the faces are as good as poison” as in she would be consumed by using the faces to do all her business, instead of focusing on her “all men must serve” mantra. She was supposed to kill the thin man unselfishly, but she killed someone who SHE wanted too, selfishly.

Michael King

The killing of Shireen really is the most offensive crime perpetrated by the characters on this show. It doesn’t get lower than that. Stannis sent Davos to Castle Black because he knew Davos would have put a stop to it. I’m glad Brienne got him. As for Cersei, I feel bad for her as well at this stage of the game. No one should have to go through that. But I highly doubt it humbled her any. The High Sparrow has likely made himself a formidable enemy.

Melissa

BJ and the sound affects. Love it :)

David Cansler

Everything the Red Woman sees is true, but that’s all she knows. It either doesn’t change, or it changes depending on who does what. Obviously her visions of the future have nothing to do with Stannis, but that doesn’t mean what she’s seen isn’t going to happen. She was overconfident with Stannis and thought she was doing what had to be done for the greater good. (Yes, even though it was a kid, she thought that one sacrifice would save tens of thousands of kids in the long run). She was wrong and now she is SHOOK. She’s knows it’s all going to happen, but now she’s not sure who and when and where. She put all her eggs in Stannis’ basket, and now they done all broke. She’s looking for a new basket. The RIGHT basket.

Michael King

Jon Snow was just like his father. He always did the right thing. That doesn't always work out. The Watch was split right down the middle. Half of them really hated him, not just disagreed with him. The way you move on is to accept that you never know what's coming and you just have to wait and see.

Mr Jackpots

Oh man. Watching that Shireen scene doesn’t get any easier on a rewatch. And watching Asia’s and BJ’s reaction to it just brings back my memories of how a I felt about Stannis the first time I saw that horrific scene.( especially the last screams) How could a father do that to a daughter? He deserved the Arya on Meryn Trant treatment yo. And then some. 🗡️👁️🗡️👁️

Jesse

We were all shocked & heartbroken when they sacrificed that beautiful child.

Delia Sewell

The scene when Dany was surrounded by the dothraki was the last part of the books to be released & the edge of book readers over the rest of you swine 😉😘🤪🤗. Almost Everyone who is watching has already seen the series & just wants to watch your heart break on the series. Also Bj not eating sour patch before the show is good for his A1C but, sad for my brick of sour patches I put in there in case he didn't like the joke book.... also included was an autographed picture of 216.

shawn boyce

Can’t wait to watch your reactions to these episodes! 🤓

Kristin Kanan

The killing of Jon Snow has got to be the worst to deal with but I promise you, you will not be sorry continuing on. Season 6 is absolutely incredible! You guys will love it 🤓🙏🏻💓

Elizabitty213

It's probably not a popular opinion, but season 6 is my favourite season of the series. I can't wait to watch your reaction. Thanks, you guys!

Darnell Holland

Asia and BJ, I had to wait over a year after the season 5 finale. My heart was broken all that time just knowing that those damn traitors of The Nights Watch murdered my baby Jon Snow. I was HEATED! His own brothers! Jon tried to bring everybody together to try and save humanity cuz The Army Of The Dead is real and they’re coming to kill them all and those dumb asses at Castle Black are either naive, stupid or just don’t care. Either way, what a horrible thing to do to someone who just wanted to save lives. Poor Jon Snow!

Virgogrl

The last couple minutes of episode 10 sucks, but I promise u GOT season 6 is one of the best seasons ever put on tv, period.

Josh

It's so crazy to see your reaction and see that it's the same as everyone else back when it originally aired. The first thing I said when Jon was killed was I'm not watching again. Asia said the same thing. You have to love GOT. Great upload guys. Thanks

Rio Mendoza

We ALL went through it, sucker punched. Hurt like hell! My question NOW is are you two willing to make guesses now? Take the main players from each house and any outliers left and just answer if you think they will make it to the last episode. If you want you can even wager on who will eventually sit on the throne. These were actual questions that turned into bets everywhere. It's fun. No seriousness to it, no shame if you're wrong. It got me REALLY invested for the ending. If you want I can make a list of remaining MAIN players? Let me know, I think it could cause an interesting discussion here so long as everyone can keep what they may know private. If anything everyone should just react as you would have when the last episode they watched aired. Act like you've seen nothing past that point. Say what you're guesses were.

Rowan

Whatever you do…watch the next season opener fast! I had to wait year and it nearly killed me yo wait. Lol.

Shannon

We're cookin now! Great episodes, great reaction. When I tell you people across the globe lost their ish when Jon Snow was killed I'm not even exaggerating. Seasons were released a year apart and they stuck us with that to stew over for a damn year! And, Arya is a bad ass. Gangsta of GOT!

LynnC

Lol, no we don’t. This world has no concept of Christianity or Abrahamic religions.🙄 and the help of The Lord of Light is how all the characters triumph. I don’t want to give away future things, but think about Baric and his flaming sword. Thoros of mir. Think about all the things they did, and what the Red Woman is GOING TO DO. If you want to get technical, the Lord of Light is more akin to the God of the Old Testament. Are you saying the white walkers and the night king are the good guys? The long night is heaven?

Michael King

Great reaction yall

Max

Imagine reading the books and waiting 5 years from the end of book 5 and season 6. Then consider those of us who began reading the books in the 90’s and early 2000’s. I literally waited half my life to find answers to questions in the books 😂

Scuba Steve

You may be wondering about the Lord of Light. Satan is described in the Quran as a being made of fire. He appears in the Bible in Revelations as a Great Red Dragon. Satan has quite a variety of names, one of which is Angel of Light. I think we know who the Red Woman serves.

Mr Jackpots

George R. R. Martin, the author of the books this series is based on, said not to get too attached to any character. But can you imagine having to wait nearly a year for the beginning of season 6? Everyone was talking about it back when this came out. Hang in there though, season 6 is excellent. I promise it’s worth it.

Alicia

Asia, you are so cute! They need to go south and not be a snack for that thing. Lol

Cynthia M Farrington

Oh. I can't swallow. Love it!

Richard smith

I think the hallmark of a truly great serialized show is one that is able to deliver payoffs seasons later. Seeing something get resolved after years can be so gratifying and is one of the main pleasures of the format (last night’s Succession has me waxing poetic.) Brienne finishing off Stannis was perfect. And desperately deserved. Stannis was never someone to root for. He was delusional, callous, and compromised by Melisandre and her blood magic. Shireen’s death is one of the saddest in the series and sealed Stannis’ fate. Arya getting revenge on Meryn Trant for killing her sword fighting teacher Syrio Forel is even more of a *chef’s kiss* moment. Absolutely visceral. I did truly feel bad for Cersei during her walk of shame as well. The feeling didn’t last long though. And of course watching Jon Snow get stabbed in the gut feels like getting stabbed in the gut. There are things that happened on this show and with this show that I will die mad about and despite how good it was at this point in time, the use of one of the most inane, idiotic lines in the history of television in episode 10 has to be up there. Hang in there, we all did for better or worse.

Miss Melissa

True story, Kit Harrington got out of a ticket when the cop asked him what happens to Jon Snow in season 6 (before it aired). After he tells him the cop goes “on your way lord commander” 🤪🤪🤪

Lynda Olson

Been waiting for this all day! Shame, Shame, Shame. The death of Princess Shireen made me sob like a baby when I first saw it, and still does whenever I re-watch it. And the season finale left me absolutely speechless.

Patty Estrada

Yes!! Love your reactions!! None of the things happening in Kings Landing would have ever happened if Tywin was still alive!!

Rachel Sisk (Rayray)

...And Danerarys becomes a true Targaryen!

Charlotte Drolet

Two of the most painful episodes in the entire series; imagine having to wait all that time for season 6 to begin too....a lot of people just couldn't handle it!

Greg Hoenig

That was Meryn Trant that Arya killed. Back when Ned Stark was betrayed by Littlefinger, Sir Meryn killed her sword fighting teacher, Syrio Forel and she was able to flee Kings Landing. Another wonderful reaction! I felt the same way when they killed Jon Snow. Season 6 is one of my favorites though!

Krissy

I’d also suggest Justified, sons of anarchy or the Americans. All exceptional shows!

Tracy Smith

The guy Arya was “eyeing” is Ser Meryn Trant killed Syrio Forel, the guy who taught Arya to sword fight (water dance). He’s also been shown to be an ass several times.

Randy Suyematsu

🤌 🤌 🤌 🤌 🤌 😁

Dan Sopranos

I hv a couple recommendations for you guys... Nurse Jackie, True Blood. (When ur done w the current tv shows) ✌️❤️

Pele'sFyre

We know how you feel I watched this live had to wait a year for season 6 and it is one of the best seasons KEEP WATCHING!!!!!!

Mike West

Cool. That a fun in between seasons clip. I still can hear all the talk, hype and anticipation for season 6. Except this time we don’t have to wait a fortnight. Thanks.👍

Jesse

Hang in there. Imagine having to wait a year for the next season. This is where the books left off, so we didn't know what to expect for season 6.

Brandon Jarrett

I spent a few months watching seasons one through four with a friend at his house so we would be caught up for the premiere of season 5. The only thing I didn’t like at the time was waiting a whole week to watch one episode at a time. After the end of episode 10 the only thing I didn’t like was my friend…….FOR HAVING TALKED ME INTO WATCHING THRONES IN THE FIRST PLACE……B*TCH…….Well, I had no love for Olly either. That little #@%&. Adding(Season 6 was worth the wait though)🗡️🩸 🐺

Jesse

Been refreshing my emails all day for this… 🙌 🙌 🙌

Miss Melissa

I know it was hard to watch the last episode, but I promise you it's worth it to continue. I said I was done after 5 10, I was so crushed, but I had to see how the show ended. Seasons 6 is probably the best season of the show in my opinion, so i hope you stick with it- I love your reactions! 🥰

DogGroomer17

These two episodes. I’m honestly nervous about how you reacted to these ones as they’re tough.

Melissa

Yeah. Damn it I'm at work. Wish I could leave early. Been waiting for these and next seasons some of the best TV ever!! !

Kim Cottingham

Hell yes can wait for yalls jon snow reaction. Stick in the season 6 is the best season of all. Love yall hope yall check out jeepers creepers eventually....

JAMFAM2428

Yes!! You just made my day!!! Oh I already can’t wait for you to get to the next two episodes! Season 6 is my favorite!

Mary Merry Berry

So, when these episodes originally aired on HBO, I got bored between Season 5 and 6, and I created a short video for my Facebook friends, just for the heck of it. I hope you guys enjoy it. Yes, it's kind of cheesy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9HnErxQsl8

Gary David Holbrook

Yay! GOT time. :D <3 (I want to use emojies, but I'm watching on my Mac, and I don't see any - so old time emojies from me)

Monnisnah

😂🔥🔥

Dan63

Yay!! Been waiting all day for this one. Thank you!!❤️❤️
