Wights are destroyed permanently by fire, dragonglass or Valyrian steel. They can't come back. The Night King can only raise corpses into wights once per corpse. Still, not enough wights were destroyed in the battle to really make a difference.

Not only did the dead wights raise up, when the Night King raised his arms, but all the people that just died, raised up too. So, they not only got their Soldiers back, but they gained thousands of more people to their army, because the people got turned into wights. So, if the Night King's army doesn't get taken out, eventually, everyone on the planet, will become part of their army.

Theon did not accidentally run into Ramsay, at the top of the Watch Tower. Theon knew Ramsay was up there, and went up there to rat on Sansa, because he is so scared that he will get caught, and he is horrified, that he could get tortured for it. I came to learn from another reactor that only so much time can be recorded using certain methods here on Patreon. So I believe they may be skipping it for that reason. Also another Patreon reactor that I love binged season 8 episode 2-6 all at once. Six hours uploaded all together but he was using another type of data service. I will say it was amazing to watch it all the way through like that for season 8. A marathon of joy and pain.

I agree I’m hoping it will drop Today. I have been checking since Saturday. They got the sopranos and the movie out of the way so GOT should be next. But I also know some reactors after 9 and 10 get really “overwhelmed”. Which I hope doesn’t happen here. Some of them take a break because it’s so much. So any delay after 10 makes me nervous. Lol. Season 6 is my favorite season and the best one in my opinion. So excited to get there! ❤️

I didn't realise movie reactions were pronunciation tests. I can't pronounce what many people say because I don't have an accent, everyone else does 😂 . If the way Asia and BJ react to movies is really hurting your feelings, then perhaps you are in the wrong place. But that's exactly what's wrong with society today. 1. The Night King = First of his kind and magical leader of the undead. Turns the dead into "zombies" to do his dirty work. 2. White Walkers = Generals under the Night King that are also magical and each raise their own horde of undead that they can control. 3. Wights = Horde of undead soldiers created by and magically bonded to a White Walker, and vulnerable to fire. 4. Army of the Dead = Comprised of White Walkers and Wights from the far North (Land of Always Winter) but are moving south and bringing the Winter and another "Long Night" with them, adding to their army more dead as they kill villagers and townspeople.

No, I agree, I also didn’t make it past the first two books, and I’m a HUGE fan. I will get through them eventually, but I’ve seen each episode at least 5-6 times, as well as listening to a lot of people who have read the books intensely and gotten some extra info from them, and videos like the one you mentioned. It’s never expressed specifically in the show, but when you get some closeups of certain weapons, like longclaw and the dagger that started it all , they seem to have some shiny black glass going down the middle of the blade in places. Im sure there are mystical properties as well, but I always assumed there were some practical aspects as well.

From what I remember I don’t think it’s ever mentioned in the show other when melting down ice and Jamie talks to tywin about and it’s said that no one has been able to make it since the doom but again it might be more explained in the books but I’m not that deep into the books but alt shift x has some great vids with the lore but other then that I don’t remember hearing anything about dragonglass in Valyrian steel

A couple other thoughts, just about this last 2 episodes.... 1) Lord Bolton and Ramsey are like the North's version of Tywin and Joffrey. 2) Arya has become an apprentice to a creepy death cult. She already once said her God was Death (not the Lord of Light)... and now it truly is. 3) Jorah showed his true bad ass skills - he might have even been tougher than Jamie in his prime. Over 60 he still killed the entire arena of warriors. 4) Jon Snow and Tormund the barbarian dude alliance - that is bad ass! 5) Lots of drama in Dorne. The sand snakes, girls, are deadly, but they are also in prison now. The young hottie one likes Bran. 6) Tyrion and Khaleesi meeting... very cool. 7) Amon Targarean the old monk at the night's watch died - he one of the last Targareans, and Jon Snow's allie... 7) Even the Giant could not stop the Army of the dead 8) Stannis is going to face off with the Boltons. Both are skilled and deadly. 9) Little Finger is back to check in, but still playing every angle. He's now got control of the Vale. 10) And where is Bran/Hodor? 11) Marjorie and Cersei, both queens captured, and even Lady Olenna is having hard time dealing with it, and she is a pro. So much this season!!

This season has so much going on! Every place is having epic encounters. Lots of rivalries and betrayals playing out. Cersei thought she was clever creating a religious fanatic group to do her dirty work, but it completely back fired on her. And, as much as we hated Joffrey and Tywin... now, I kind of wish they were back to destroy all those monk lunatics. Joffrey would have never stood down to them. Tywin would never have given them any power at all. Now, King's Landing is a bigger mess

Valeryian steel, we saw in the beginning of season 4, Tywin having Ned’s stark sword melted down and made into two swords. Neds sword was huge. It was Valyrian steel. Tywin said there are only 3 people left in the world that can forge or make Valyrian steel swords. One was given to Jamie and the other to Joffrey. Oathkeeper and Widows Wail. Jamie gave his to Brienne so she could use Ned Starks sword to find and protect Ned Starks daughters. Joffreys sword was given to Jamie. Geor Mormont the Lord Commander of the Nights watch gave his Valeryian steel sword to Jon Snow. Long Claw. That sword was supposed to go to Geor’s son, Jorah Mormont. But Jorah was banished for selling slaves. He has been with Danerys all this time. Ned Stark banished Jorah. Ned Starks son now has the Mormont family sword. The dagger from season 1 was Valeryian steel. The man who attacked Bran and Cat while Bran was still in a coma in bed had it. Cat took the dagger to Kings Landing. She was told by little finger it was Tyrion Lannister’s dagger. She captured Tyrion and the rest we all know. It was because the dagger was Valeryian steel that made such a difference in what occurred. Only someone wealthy would have that.

The way the character of Tyene Sand is written definitely reminds me of Oberyn. She’s totally his daughter 😂 In the books he had 8 daughters, all illegitimate, 4 or 5 who were by Ellaria. They’re collectively known as the Sand Snakes. I’d forgotten all about the battle at the end of episode 8. The ones with the blue eyes are the actual White Walkers and the Army of the Dead is made up of the skeletons and the wights which are the people the White Walkers have killed who are now ice zombies. The guy BJ called the granddaddy is the Night King. And I know he’s a bad guy but I think he looks so cool, movie makeup-wise. They did a great job making him look eerie and terrifying. Edit: And to answer your question, the White Walkers bring the cold. That’s partially what is meant by the saying “Winter is coming.”

The delighted look on Asia’s face when Cersei got thrown in a cell is priceless! I want a meme of that! lol Cersei was so focused on giving the High Sparrow the power to get Margery out of the way for “sinning” that it never occurred to her that she was fair game and could be arrested for her own sinning. That’s what she gets! Asia they mentioned one of the the charges against Cersei was murder. Do you remember her cousin, Lancel, who she was sleeping with in season one? He was also King Robert’s cup bearer and Robert was always yelling at Lancel for more wine. Anyway, when Lancel returned this season as one of those sparrows, he mentioned the boar hunt that killed Robert. Lancel was there, so when he confessed his own sins to the High Sparrow, it seemed like he knew there was a plot to kill Robert, but no way to prove it. Jon’s sword is valerian steel and unlike the other swords and axes that just shattered, valerian steel can kill the white walkers and any one who doesn’t have valerian steel will need to use dragon glass. You were right about the end of episode 8. Jon looked defeated because all those Wildling people who were killed are now part of the Army of the Dead. This is what Nights Watch men who oppose Jon don’t understand. If they don’t get as many Wildlings South of the wall, they will be fighting for the dead and that army just keeps growing

I'd love to see you react to the show The Expanse. One of the best sci-fi shows ever. Speaking of how female characters are portrayed, my favorite thing about the show is it has many strong women characters- they are heads of state, warriors, brilliant scientists, marines. It also has a wonderfully diverse cast.

Wights are destroyed permanently by fire, dragonglass or Valyrian steel. They can't come back. The Night King can only raise corpses into wights once per corpse. Still, not enough wights were destroyed in the battle to really make a difference.

Yeah, this is the episode we find out that Valyrian steel takes out white walkers. it's forged with dragon fire!...which is what makes a scene in season 8 really stupid, but I'll get to that later.

Jon was also sad because some of the Nights watch men were left behind. He was watching them get slaughtered when he was on the boat. He knew those men and was responsible for them. Only Edd was able to escape with him the rest were lost.

Valerian steel (like John's sword) is borderline magical so it, like dragon glass can also kill the white walkers. And btw, LOVED the look on Asia's face when they grabbed Cersi! Looked like a little kid at Christmas! LOL!!

These 2 episodes were great as they introduced Tyrion to Dany and now the Night King has stepped up. As for the next series, I hope u watch the House of the Dragon. It's the prequel to GOT. One season in the books and season 2 will start filming soon.

Early on in this series Cersei was told she wasn't as smart as she thought she was. We saw that here because Peter Baelish outsmarted her and she didn't even know that's who she was playing against.
