Mountains divide the Reach from Dorne, which shelters Dorne form the worst weather even from the longest winters NORMALLY. There were so many complaints from viewers and media, about all of the rape, it was ridiculous, but the rape of Sansa, crossed the line, with many people...And, it wasn't even in the books. They just added it for shock factor. SMH 😩

I wish Sansa would have gotten married to someone that she was in love with, or anybody in love, would have gotten married, at night, with all the beautiful scenery. All of the lamps, the wedding dress, and all of the snow, made the marriage decoration beautiful. It is so sad, that the wedding and Ramsay were darker, than the night sky. I love how into this show you guys have gotten. I think most of us had similar reactions when we first watched. We’re in the thick of it now, as others have said, buckle up! This is one of my all-time favorite series and I like all of it, but seasons 4-6 were definitely my favorite the first time around. There is a lot of brutality in this show, some of which was too much for me to watch (mainly the torture of Theon), but these seasons have some of the best storytelling, imo. Just a note from the episode where Ser Jorah and Tyrion were going through Valyria—the city was completely destroyed in what the books call “the Doom,” which was a cataclysmic volcanic event. Like a fictional Pompeii.

Just think about it, the reason The Bolton’s and Ramsey even have the North and Winterfell is because Roose Bolton put a knife in Robb Stark’s heart and his men slit Cat’s throat at The Red Wedding. Walder Frey and The Bolton’s did Tywin Lannisters bidding. The Bolton’s have the North and Winterfell because that was their payment for killing Robb..

Crissi is correct and hit the nail on the head with that whole scene. Arya mixed lies in with the truth and he’d whip her on each lie. She would then correct the lie with the truth and continue. For example she was saying her father was killed in battle then he whipped her. Then she corrected by saying, “after he was executed…” and continue with the story.

Arya wasn't telling the truth - she was lying about stabbing the little boyin the back, she lied about being kidnapped by a man named Poliver, she lied about hating The Hound. And he could tell. I have been asking this for weeks!! It gets ignored every time. They spend half of the second episode in confusion because they skip the preview. We would get much better reaction if they could understand what’s going on when it happens. I was so excited when they started watching it today then they stopped. A great idea is to stop and discuss episode 1 then watch the preview then watch episode 2 I feel like 8,9, and 10 are going to be so messy if they don’t slow down at the end of each episode.

Valyria was home to the Targaryens and Valyrians. It was their ancestry home. Daenys the Dreamer( Targaryen) dreamed Valyria would be destroyed. So some Targaryens fled to Westeros, and Valyria was destroyed soon after by a Volcanic eruption, and earthquakes. That's y it's in ruins now

The white walkers have been gone thousands of years. So long that most people think they were a myth. The white walkers we’ve seen since the beginning of the show are them coming back around, and they’re only gathering more forces. They were mainly around collecting Craster’s male babies until the show opens. There will be more about how they defeated them before in later episodes. For now, no spoilers, lol.

Remember what Tyrion said about the Targaryens. That's important. Sansa had to lose her innocence to grow her character, but they did it in the nastiest way possible (thank you GRRM). Jorah Mormont is one of my favorite characters because he does have a code he follows and he is intensely loyal to Daenerys. He took the job of spying on her to get a pardon for his crime, but once he saw she was someone worthy of loyalty he stopped and kept her from being poisoned. He made some bad decisions, as we all do, but he's a good man at heart. Not too many of those in this show. Davos Seaworth is another favorite and so is Bronn. You can pretty much tell that if Tyrion likes a man, he's probably OK.
