It was probably better, that The Hound, didn't warn the old, injured man that he was going to put a sword through him...That way, he didn't have a chance to get scared. I wouldn't want to know when I'm going to die, but at the same time, I would like to get one Prayer sent out to GOD, and my Lord, Jesus Christ, before I died.

A "Trial By Combat", is where the accused and the accuser, get to each pick out their own fighter. The person that has the winning fighter wins, because people thought that the God's oversaw the fight and let the person win, that was fighting for the truthful side. Tyrion wanted a "Trial By Combat", in The Vale. He told the guard that he would give him gold, if he got him out, so that he could confess, but he only confessed to small things, like stealing a woman's Clothes, so she would have to walk naked, putting poop in someone's boot, and doing unmentionable things with his privates in Cersei's soup. That was the most funny speech ever. Lysa's (The woman that was breastfeeding her son at age 10, and Cat's Sister) Son, Robin, kept asking if he could make the Little Man fly through the Moon Door. Then, Tyrion asked for a "Trial By Combat. He wanted Jaime, but Lysa demanded that the Trial was going to happen the same day. That is when Bronn, stood up to fight for Tyrion. So, that is how Tyrion and Bronn, really got to be friends. There was another "Trial By Combat", when The Hound fought Beric Dondarrion. The Hound killed him, but Beric's friend, Thoros of Myr, brought him back to life for the 6th time.

2024-03-14 11:10:43 +0000 UTCVarys says that he does not desire men or women, and that he was glad of this, because he has seen what desire can do to people, and then he says that the absence of desire, gives him free time to work towards other things...Then, he looks at the Iron Throne. So, he says he doesn't like desire, but then says he desires the most corrupt thing in "Game of Thrones ", which is the throne. I do think Varys, would have made a decent King, because he always wanted to do what was better for the entire realm...Being fair and treating each Nation the same, would be a great quality, in a King.

I was in the middle of watching the reactions to this series, but I tried to watch today and get nothing but "Sorry, this video does not exist." It looks like right now, when I'm writing this, that this issue is affecting every video prior to and including episode 5&6 of season 5.

2023-04-19 00:01:10 +0000 UTCPeter yanked the necklace off of Sansa and declared that he had it made for the purpose of holding the poison. He threw it onto the ground next to the “fool” just before he rowed Sansa away and lord Valis found it with remnants of the poison still inside one of the little baubles. The Tyrel grandmother had an identical necklace made for Marjorie, but I’m not sure why. We never saw them conspiring to carry out this plan, but they must have. I think Peter was framing Sansa and Tyrion in order to draw suspicion away from the Tyrels and so Sansa would be dependent on him for protection.

Can't wait for the end of this season! :) I would like to add that during the Court scene when Jaime escort Tyrion to the bench trial, they had to reshoot it so many times that Tyrion and Jaime's actors came in singing and dancing for shits and giggles while filming and it have been made public. I'm dying!!! 🤣 Both Lord Baelish and Lady Olenna conspired to poison Joffrey. Baelish had the necklace made that Sansa wore that had the poison and he arranged for "the fool" to help Sansa escape when Joffrey was choking. At the wedding reception, Lady Olenna was speaking to Sansa and was able to get the fake gem from the necklace that was holding the poison. If you remember, when Sansa arrived on the ship with Lord Baelish, he killed the fool rather than pay him and then dropped the necklace into the boat with his body. At Tyrion's trial, they had found the necklace and Grand Maester Pycelle confirmed that it held poison in it. Lady Olenna basically admitted a few episodes ago that she'd rather have her granddaughter Maergery married to Tommen rather then Joffrey

"Reek".... Ramsey Snow (Bolton) of the Dreadfort is a sadistic, methodical psycho, perhaps even worse than Joffrey, but he is also very deadly. The North is now fighting amongst themselves. Him requesting a trial by combat is a slap in the face to his dad bcause what it is essentially doing is stripping the most powerful man in the kingdom of any power he has over his life and this trial. He was absolutely going to lose the trial bcause everyone had been paid off by his sister or his father so requesting a trial by combat strips all that leverage and power away from them and makes it to where all they can do is pick their champion and he gets his and it would have to be himself or someone willing to die to fight for him bcause no man is going to willingly die just so tyrion loses. The fight may be lopsided but essentially its a 1v1 fair fight and his father has no control of the outcome.

Just dying in giggles because I knew the big push was coming. You both are piecing everything together nicely! It was this way for most of us too. Having to sift through a few seasons before things start clicking really well. Keep up the good work. Really enjoyable reactions and discussions.

Crazy Liza talking about she and Peter murdering her husband and Asia picked up on it as an important part. You were right! It was S1E1 where we saw Catlyn read their letter to Ned about the murder. It's what kicked this whole sh!t off from the first episode. Great catch!

2023-04-14 03:08:39 +0000 UTCBronn told Tyrion he put Shae on the boat himself. When Cersei was screaming take him during Joffreys death. Tywin said stop every boat in the harbor and search it. They were looking for Sansa but at the wedding breakfast Cersei pointed Shae out to Tywin. So Tywin knew who she was. Varys certainly did and he testified against Tyrion. They probably got her off of the ship Bronn put her on since they searched all the ships.

So the queen told Tywin and they got her before she went away. Remember when Tywin made Tyrion the hand back in season 1, he told Tyrion not to “bring anymore whores to court”, or he’d do something to her. She was just so scornful after Tyrion tried to save her by getting her to leave. So she wanted to do anything she could to hurt him.
