The Dark Knight Rises

The Dark Knight Rises

Comments

The greatest Superhero triology in history. Hans Zimmer's score is absolutely legendary.

Aaron Barlow

"didn't y'all learn the last time not to stand all together like that?" Yo, I am dead! 🤣😂🤣

Dan Gonya

I'm sure the studios will meet Christian Bales terms to add a fourth installment of the Dark knight, just as long as Robin reprises his role he left everyone curious about. Since you watched all the Christopher Nolan's Batman movies, might I suggest you react to college humor's comedy skits called Badman and you can find them on YouTube.

Saints_Madness

Heath Ledger was the best joker ever, but Jared Leto is number 2 he played joker in suicide squad

Andreas

Pattinson* (don't worry, I had to remind myself of it too)

Jason C

Asia & BJ: (pretty important point about the ending) I'm not sure if you guys have since realized this, but when the technicians were talking to Fox (Morgan Freeman) at the end of the movie about a "patch" that had been installed on the "bat" or flying ship Batman used, they said it was Bruce Wayne who installed it and that it had happened 6 months ago! It was the autopilot function!! Fox had told Bruce earlier in the movie when he introduced him to "the bat" flying machine that he didn't have time to work on the auto pilot. Bruce Wayne fixed it himself. This meant he was able to bail in the water long before the bomb went off, using the autopilot to fly the bomb away. That's how he survived. That's why Fox smiled when the technicians told him Bruce fixed the autopilot half a year ago. Bruce was with Selina Kyle (Catwoman) at that restaurant where Alfred was. He knew of its location because Alfred told him about it earlier in the movie (as you know). This meant that Bruce completely surprised him, fulfilled Alfred's fantasy/dream that he'd leave Gotham and be free of his past life and create a new one. Alfred had no idea Bruce was still alive until he revealed himself at the restaurant. And Bruce wouldn't have known Alfred goes there if he didn't tell Bruce when & where he goes to it.

Jason C

I like Bane's coat.

coburnsven

You guys witness the most amazing thing that anyone did to Batman. Bane was the first villain to break Batman by breaking his back.

DickGarrison

Anyone who says Bruce Wayne is soft because of privilege doesn’t really know the story of Batman

Jason Augustine

The idea that they could somehow eradicate tens of billions of dollars in net worth with put options is laughable but the rest of the movie as good

Jason Augustine

dude great movie

Crispin

Glad you watched the 3. The Batman, and Joker, are stand alone movies, not part of these 3. Check them out, or at least Joker.

Ed Pawley

Just to let you know..another awesome series with Robin and side kicks is Titans occurs after Batman Retires. There is a character from the series. Arrow

oscar cisneros

No we haven't :)

Asia and BJ

Asia and BJ, have you both checked out 'Man of Steel' yet?

Duarte Dunn

I enjoyed seeing you guys watching this trilogy. try to watch The Batman I think you would enjoy it. My favorite is the Dark Knight Heath Ledger is the best joker of all time in my opinion and keep watching movies enjoying them. Love Christopher Nolan’s interpretation of the Batman

Garrett

Hey! I’m not sure if y’all take recommendations but! If you enjoy the super hero stuff and want a show you can knock out quick you should try “invincible” it’s an Amazon show and it’s really great. Keep up the amazing content !

Jack

I'm on board with that recommendation. Detective Comics Batman through and through.

Darth Brooks

Word

Justin Freeman

Wheres Sopranos?

Dan Sopranos

In the future y’all should react to The Batman(2022) starting Robert Patterson. I think you guys would enjoy it

Antonio

Are you going to continue the LotR stuff? Hobbit/Rings of Power?

LionBro

I think y’all would love The Watchmen movie too.

Karim

Guys the next Super Hero movie you guys must see is Wonder Woman and eventually The Justice League but Ben Aflec plays Batman who in my opinion you can't compare to Bale.

Raider Ron

Ah yes, the villain that quite literally Broke the Batman.. So glad to have seen you guys watch this trilogy, It's one of my favorite trilogies ever, i was bawling my eyes out the first time i saw the ending and then it turned into happiness once i realised the true ending :) Cristopher Nolan did amazing job with this trilogy and Christian Bale to me is the one and only Dark Knight.

Keppuli

Legendary NFL wide receiver Hines Ward has a cameo appearance in this film yo. He’s the one running for the TD while the field is collapsing behind him. Also William Estes, the actor who plays Jamie Reagan in Blue Bloods has a role as a cop. He’s the one that shoots at Batman and then apologizes. Great final film of the trilogy that focuses more on testing a man’s mental strength and spirit than the usual many fabulous fight scenes that we are used to. Some fans clamored for more action based pacing but I loved the psychological tones and the surprise twists yo. Thanks Asia and BJ and Fam.☮️💙👍

Jesse

Thank you so much!!

Asia and BJ

great music in this one

SlavicGold

Great movie, great reactions, great Batman voice.

Derek McCain

This movie so great so many great lines

IG. Mizzyfit_

I'd like to add you should check out Warrior with Tom Hardy (Bane actor) it's a really good movie about brothers and martial arts. BJ's reaction to Banes combos towards the end made me think of it.

Darth Brooks

Happy Easter Darth :)

SilverDoe🎔

Asia's Batman voice coming in strong on this reaction 😂 hope y'all react to Man of Steel soon. Happy Easter, peace and love A and B fam!

Darth Brooks

So, just curious, did you watch the trailer, but not the movie itself?

SilverDoe🎔

The shadows betray you, because they belong too me. that is the coldest mfkn line ever heard

Crispin

Bane is played by Tom Hardy , who played Max in "Mad Max". Great actor, and in a lot of films & shows... oh, and that's really his voice

Josh

Was suprised u guys didn't recognize Little Finger from GOT in the opening scene. There's 1 more character on here from GOT who was in the Nights Watch

Josh

Awesome movie, has anyone suggested peaky blinders for a new series? That would be a good option I reckon

Rob Dog

💯

I thought Hardy was good as Bane. He put his heart and soul into the character. In an interview? He said he cried when he saw some of the nasty comments because he cared that much regarding it. In fact, he put so much into his transformation that it ended up damaging his body slightly iirc. He cares about his roles in things. I first saw him in Wuthering heights, and he plays one of the best (or the best) Heathcliff's I've ever seen. And I love him as Venom. The doctor who helped Bruce in the prison was the one iirc who created the mask for Bane. Burn Gorman who Selina/Catwoman gives Bruce's fingerprints to, is in that movie as well actually. And I agree with others. DC dropped the ball with Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Robin. I'd have liked to have seen it, even now because he has such a young face for his age lol. Such a great trilogy. Loved seeing your reactions to it. (I can't wait for you to see Gary Oldman in Harry Potter and Bram Stokers Dracula one day. He's such a diverse, amazing, actor) Enjoy the game later too btw.

SilverDoe🎔

I’ve got to say, Asia and BJ’s Patreon is by far the best I’ve been subbed to. It’s just great content after great content, they get it to us quick, and they listen to the comments and get the movies we ask for to us. I really appreciate this channel. Enjoyed this reaction a ton. “The removal team has been removed!” is an all-time funny moment for you guys, Asia’s too quick with it sometimes 😂😂

Derek Jolstead

8:07 in reaction thats LITTLE FINGER from Game of Thrones!

jason

Great reaction! IMO, this one is underrated. Some people don't like it, but I think it's very good and underrated. I'm so glad you guys enjoyed it and the trilogy.

Sean G

Oh, one thing I really didn't like with this movie was that Bane was WAY less powerful than the comics, he was just pumped up strong as opposed to super strong due to a weird drug that makes him way stronger than a regular human could be.

Chris Marrero

Yeah, Bruce fixing the autopilot before that whole bomb went off, was a big surprise to me when I saw it. I remember being mad that they had us thinkng Bane was Ra's kid instead of him having a daughter, so I was hyped when they did the Talia reveal. One thing I did notice at the beginning, the guy on the plane that Bane attacked, was Little Finger!!!! LOL!!

Chris Marrero

I'm not sure if this is the worst Batman movie ever made, but it's up there. You could have saved some time by just watching Screen Junkies Honest Trailer which is what I did. They can't all be winners.

Mr Jackpots

Another trilogy comes to an end, I'll be diving in soon. Happy Birthday BJ!!

Darth Brooks

Did you guys notice that the CIA officer in the opener was Littlefinger/Peter Baelish from Game of Thrones? Also Bane (Tom Hardy) was Private Janovec from Band of Brothers. The blood transfusion was so that the body they recovered would have Dr. Pavel's blood in his veins (at least partially).

tkitez (take it easy)

I know where you’re coming from, but that would really complicate things for them. And they might end up just being like “this is those two movies!” And it sours the actual originality. It’s like asking someone to watch every movie that influences a Tarantino film before watching that film. All the relevant spaghetti westerns before seeing Django.

Michael King

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BJ!! Cheers!

Dana

Amazing trilogy, and I agree - they saved the best for last.

LynnC

I spaced out and didn’t pay attention that my subscription ran out today. But I resubscribed and I’m back like I never left yo. Nothing like some Batman on a Birthday for BJ, eh? Happy thoughts your way. 🦇🎂🎉

Jesse

Happy Birthday BJ !!! ;D

StatueOfGuyThinking

Great reaction! FYI The Joker movie is a stand alone. Not directly related to this trilogy.

Jerry

As pointed out a couple comments above, 'Joker' is a movie all on it's own. While it's worth the watch, I can't help but feel like you should watch 'Taxi Driver' and 'The King Of Comedy' first. Joker was HEAVILY influenced by those classic films.

dabbingcannasseur

Happy birthday BJ! Will look forward to watching this tomorrow! (Going to go see how drunk BJ is now on your YT channel) lol - loved the gifts and yours Asia - made me hungry! Happy Easter guys x

SilverDoe🎔

Joker is a movie on its own. It’s the same character of the joker, but not the same actor and it’s sort of in its own universe. It’s not in the style of these superhero movies.

Michael King

YES the shocking conclusion to a solid trilogy - which has the theme of Pain, like having Fear for one and Chaos for two so happy you got to see one of the more intricate portrayals of a legendary pop culture icon like Batman Love you guys and happy birthday BJ!

Karl Kraus

I don’t know why they didn’t follow that through with Gordon-Levitte

Michael King

It's like christmas everyday on asia/bj patreon

TinCan Cosmanaut

I wish they would have made one more movie with “Robin” as the new Batman. But great movie and a fantastic ending to this trilogy.

Anthony Ortiz

Now I know what I will be watching at work Monday 😉🤣

Aww hell yeah
