Gangs in general are like that usually.

Tony's mom was murdered by millennium era cgi...

Dan Gonya

The only thing that has ever bothered me about mafia and mob type stories and movies and such is really how racist the characters always tend to be. I know a lot of it is a part of the culture, but still, it always bugs me.

Dan Gonya

This such a good show it's my first time watching and this and has become one of my fav shows so far second to Peaky Blinders which is also a good show to watch it is similar to this but not at the same time lol.

Hi BJ and Asia. Love you both. I am 63 from NJ Italian. Well Italian American. BJ. I love your Italian accent. Turn it up. Love. My mind drifts. I turn to Asia and Bj

I thought you guys didnt read comments as spoilers could ruin upcoming episodes. Thank you for reading them but hopefully people respect not giving next episodes away.

Lift Me (Dave)

Agree Julie. It’s interesting because my husband I were saying how easy it is to like Tony and his family. They sneak that in on you. The characters are likeable. Tony is old school east coast Italian just like my dad. The way they talk, the mannerisms, the humor, the family values. It’s no wonder I love James playing the part and doing a good job. But then you have to step outside and say, wow they really are scumbags. Which didn’t really happen for me until the later seasons.

Pink Martini AZ

Yo bj if u gonna try the jersey Italian accent u can't say cappicola you gotta say gabagool lol 🤣🤣

Matthew Pasko

I’m not sure why the producers and writers needed to add that CGI scene. What did it add storywise? Nothing that I can see. I think I heard the creators of the show that they spent a ridiculous amount of time on that CGI (5 weeks, if I remember correctly), hated it, and regreted the results. Not sure why they kept pushing forward with it.

Thomas Monk

The "new" heavyset guy that was with Ralphie (who has some important episodes in the future) also appeared earlier in the series. He was basically an extra for the bakery scene where Christopher shoots the worker in the foot.

I'm pretty sure the actress that played Livia passed away in real life so they wrote it into the script. What a great character though, she was hilarious in a morbid kind of way. I know a lot of people can relate to a mother like that. I think Tony still loved her, but she was incapable of love.

It’s so funny because so many people in the 90s-2000s felt this way. My Irish family in Boston only wanted us to date Irish- no Italians , no Polish , no nothing. And all my black friends told me their families only wanted them to date within their race. I don’t thinks it’s about color- but more culture. “ keep our linage and culture going”. I don’t care what folks do , but I do understand wanting kids to date within a shared religion and culture.

Love you guys, the fam and great upload as always <3

JessicaB

On top of that fact you also have to think they are trying to talk and have some commentary they may otherwise not have since they are creating content for you to watch. The Stress of trying to make sure the recordings are working well. Lets face it Tech messes up so it is not as simple as sit and watch listen to every word. They have a lot of extra on top of the FIRST time Watching.

Movie Troll

I think the russian/ukrainian lady said 'good bye little Livia' in russian. Y'all right though -- she has a thick accent.

Potato Jones

Im glad to read this cause I thought I was losing my mind when i first saw her head floating like that, w totally different lighting. Lol I figured she probably did pass or stop the show but never checked. Thanks for sharing!

Pele'sFyre

they don't curse in their reactions and don't say bad words, i appreciate that about them :)

BlackLion

My guess would be YT editing. YT is getting worse, red flagging channels for swearsies.

Idk why… we’re all adults here

Adam smith

Asia and BJ… ignore the rude comments. You’re 2 of my favorite reactors

Thomas Monk

Wow. Don’t be rude.

Thomas Monk

He straight callin attention to it.

Justin Freeman

They don’t want to say the P word.

Julie A

do you keep calling Pussy, Pushy?!?!?!

rogers1892

So you're tellin me that bevilaqua kid didn't have it comin to him? Marone!

Robert

Tony was a great antihero due to the writing and James Gandolfini. You know he’s a horrible guy, but you still root for him to not get caught by the FBI.

Julie A

“The FBI are slimey.” Meanwhile Tony and his crew… gambling, drugs, robbery, thuggery, cheating, bribery, arson and murdering people.

Pink Martini AZ

The guy that got wacked in the car previously, Spoons, is the same actor as his twin brother Patsie in this episode. They liked the actor so much that they brought him back as the previous character's twin.

Happy Easter Dan63!!!

Asia and BJ

This is a good season to watch. Doing a good job Asia and BJ. Love seeing your faces on all the twists and turns. ✌🏼and Happy Easter 🐣

Dan63

Weeeelp... saw that coming. on to the reaction! /eatspopcorn

Mindbomb

Love shots of Tony's mom when they're talking about the airline tickets, I think they should have respected her death and left out that scene completely comes up and a digital effects look kind of creepy.

Rio Mendoza

In season 3 they were going to have Tony cozying up to his mom so she wouldn’t testify against him.

Julie A

Same to you as well! Enjoy your time off and have a wonderful holiday!

Asia and BJ

Max, legit question- were you raised by wolves?

Julie A

Most of us have seen all these shows multiple times through. I know I always find a few new things I missed every time I re-watch something. When they recast someone or something else happens, like an actor dies, or a plot line that seems important gets abandoned, it can make some things confusing. These shows are so great precisely BECAUSE they are complicated and rich.

Michael King

Anytime :) I was so optimistic with his first post too at least it had a ''yay'' in it🤣 You're very welcome and I am thank you, I have a week off so its PJ and chill time. Happy easter to you and the children 🤗x

☻Shell🎔⋆˚🐾˖°

Ohhh!! Ok… I certainly asked that question because it seemed a little strange that it was so sudden and it seemed like there was never any build to that even happening. It seemed out of the ordinary but that explains it. Thanks for clarifying that!

Asia and BJ

Thank you Shell… the negative commentary is becoming a little ridiculous at this point but we most definitely appreciate you for being here. Hope you are having a great week! ❤️

Asia and BJ

I for one don't think you have hearing problems! Thank you as always guys :)

☻Shell🎔⋆˚🐾˖°

🙄

Asia and BJ

The actress that played Tony's mother died in real life and they had to pretty much re-write all of season 3.

Jerry

Nope! And we never have!! Maybe think about having to watch something for the VERY FIRST TIME and consider how much of it you HEAR AND RETAIN if it’s the VERY FIRST TIME you’ve ever seen it or HEARD IT!! Then reconsider leaving commentary like THIS!

Asia and BJ

Legit question do yall have hearing problems because you miss whole sentences you might want to consider turning the volume up

Max

Once we’re free of Ritchie, they give us Ralphie, ugh.

Michael King

Lol, I just explained this as well. Beat me by one minute.

Michael King

The actress who played Tony’s mom died, so that last scene with the baby books was pieced together from previous scenes of dialogue. Except for the fact that someone died, it’s pretty funny to see the generic responses she had for what people were saying to her. You can see how the CGI from the early 2000’s looked over 20 years later now. They superimposed her head from those previous scenes.

Michael King

Guys, the final scene with Tony's mom- Olivia looks a little strange there because the actress, Nancy Marchand, had passed away. After that, it was necessary to write her out of the show. Her face was borrowed from previously filmed scenes, then superimposed over a body double. The dialogue was all from previous episodes, too, reused to fit that specific scene. It's pretty good CGI work for that time, but you can tell something is off.

Jake Martin

I’m ready for round 3!

Kevin ward

Same here

Jeff

Lol, I keep checking back every 20 minutes for these and GOT. Also the upcoming movies. But mainly GOT. I’ve seen each episode at least 5 times, some even more and it takes everything in my power not to just binge them all yet again!🫣

Michael King

As always, I clicked right away. Thank you for the upload guys. Your content is very much appreciated.

Rio Mendoza

Yay sopranos I can’t wait for the next game of thrones
