Diana Rigg Rocks! 😍

MertzRocks

Yep. "Valar Dohaeris", means, "All nen must die", and "Valar Morghulis", means, "All nen must serve". I thought about getting that tattoed on myself. I, however, got a "Stark" banner tattoed on me. The banner has blood dripping off of it. Above the banner, it has my Husband's name, with Ned Stark's sword, "Ice", below his name. Below the banner, it says, "The Pack Survives". Then, I have a full arm sleeve, neck/chest piece, and full back piece of "Lord of the Rings". I am still working on that, because I am doing my ribs and full left leg of "Lord of the Rings" as well. I am a nerd. I decided if I got all tattied up, it was going to be of something, that didn't die with time, and also had a good meaning, like "Good overcoming Evil". "Game of Thrones", is my favorite show, and "Lord of the Rings" is my favorite movie. There are so many similarities between them. If you look up the similarities on Google or YouTube, it will show then to you. Geoerge R.R. Martin, legally changed his middle name to R.R., due to the author of "Lord of the Rings" having R.R., as his middle name (J.R.R. Tolkien). I have J.R.R.T. tattooed on my knuckles. I might get my whole other side of my body tattoed with "Game of Thrones", but I probably won't, because tgen, I wouldn't be able to dedicate my right arm to Jesus, and my right leg to numerous things. I have the Elvish word for "Strength" over my eyebrow. It's funny, because Sean Bean, played Borimir in "Lord of the Rings", and Ned Stark, in "Game of Thrones". He was my favorite "Game of Thrones" character. I almost quit watching the show, when they killed him off so soon, but I am glad that I stuck with it. Also, Robert Aramayo, the young Ned Stark, in "Game of Thrones", plays Elrond in "Rings of Power". I have seen "Game of Thrones" many times, because, now, I cannot find another show that compares. That is why I started watching reactors---So, I could watch others experience this show for the first time, because I will never get to experience it for the first time again. And, I have watched "Lord of the Rings", even more than "Game of Thrones". I have also collected many swords and armour, from "Game of Thrones", and "Lord of the Rings"...Even Robert Baratheon's War Hammer...That thing is heavy, with spikes on it...The hammer head (The part that you would hit someone with), is sharp and made like a meat tenderizer looks. Then, of course, I have collected the movies, the show DVDs, action figures, blankets, cups, posters...You name it...I would say that I am just a little obsessed.

Erin Black

Man, Margaery really knows how to manipulate Joffrey, like no one else can do.

Erin Black

People do not have to be so rude to these Reactors. They are watching for the first time, while dealing with knowing they have an audience, dealing with the computer, dealing with reading everyone's comments, etc. If someone thinks they are so nuch better, then they should set up a "Youtube" and "Patreon" channel, and do it themselves. There is no reason, to make negative comments on someone's page, to try to make them feel bad. Just kick rocks, and go watch someone else's channel. You don't have to put someone down, to unsubscribe and watch something to your liking. It is extremely rude, because Asia and B.J., are extrenely positive people, and they treat each other, plus their audience, with the utmost respect. Keeo up the good work, Asia and B.J. 😊

Erin Black

It's actually true. They really can't tell white people apart LOL

Jacob Guenther

I need to check those guys out then. It's lowkey stressful, the sheer amount of things these guys misconstrued.

Jacob Guenther

I mean, Rob Stark has been King in the North since season 1 and they didn't recognize that in this episode.

Crissi

ya so what get a grip

JessicaB

meh. i think people are noticing because ITS THAT NOTICEABLE.

Crissi

Nah - I've watched dozens of reactors and Asia & BJ are definitely on the struggle bus, lol. Like Sophie & Mair got everything IMMEDIATELY. J-Lei struggled for a few episodes but by the end of season 1, he had nearly all the names and places down. Asia and BJ were still getting Tywin and Stannis confused and Sansa and Cersei confused at the end of this season. They think all the older men at Winterfell are Ned's brothers. It's entertaining though when we see the light bulbs turn on though!

Crissi

most importantly NONE OF THIS MATTERS its a dang tv show yall need to get a grip.

JessicaB

To be fair, I have read the books many times, and I've seen the entire show more than twice, so it's easy for me understand the meaning behind every line. These guys are first-timers to this whole universe, its pretty confusing at first

Ekk

Are u serious? Just let them watch. There is no need to explain to someone when its eciting and not 🤣 guys…

SylMyl

Please. Who could completely follow GOT watching it for the first time. Give me a break! After 5 times watching i still caught stuff i missed before. Stop being so negative about it.

SylMyl

Short answer, no. Not like you want them to. But in their defense, at least in my opinion, they are trying to consume GOT, The Sopranos, Band of Brothers, and now recently, The Last of Us, at a rate that most of us did not. We had the option of pause, rewind, and of course, years between these shows, and a week between episodes to re-watch, etc. I actually had the thought while watching this one that they are starting to really get into it, it is showing, and that is fun to watch. I am choosing to just watch one series at a time with them, can't wait to start The Sopranos.

TheGuy

I haven't started their GOT reaction yet but based on all these comments endlessly clarifying the most basic stuff, I gotta ask... are these two actually able to follow the show at all? If they don't know who is who at this stage, I'm not sure I'm gonna bother. Are they able to follow??

Julien

Same here. The next two are a couple of my favorites.

Melissa

Well worth a chart of characters to take a second to look at when you wonder who one of the main characters is. The recap before each episode is important. It reviews past that is relevant to next episode. It isn't just a review of last episode. Takes a couple minutes

Lift Me (Dave)

Can't wait for the next 2 episodes. For a reason, but I'm not going into details.

Jojo

Did you guys notice in the opening map that WinterFell is burnt down and they also showed the new city on the map that Danaerys (Khaleesi) arrived to get the army called Astapor. That older knight who saved Danaerys from that scorpion thing is Ser Berriston Selmy and he was the knight that Cersei forced into retirement and he threw down his sword and left the throne room in Kings Landing to fight Dany.

Tara

Instead of just watching the map in the intro, you might want to pull up a copy on your phone. When someone in the show says “It’s a 3 day ride to so-n-so”, or “3 weeks journey by foot” to someplace, then you can get a better idea of the scale of distance between places as well as how much time has passed once they get there. It also helps out when people say they are riding north or sailing east or whatever. Where people are located at any point in time is pretty important. Finally, this show took a long time to come out between seasons, so expect to see the characters age up a lot each season, especially younger characters. Loving you reactions! Y’all are adorable 🥰

Cindy Beach

Wasn't just Brienne's armor that gave her an advantage , but also Jamie's hands were still chained up. He was straight up fighting handcuffed 🤣

Josh

Naw , remember The Hound told the King to F off during the battle ? Then he offered to take Sansa North. The Hound quit the Kings Guard and just left Kings Landing.

Josh

so I think the place that Rob Stark showed up with all the killed people was Haarenhall (where Aria just escaped in the last watch video). Aria and the other two are headed to Winterfell. Also LOVED seeing grandma Tyrell! She is awesome and always tells it like it is and does not give a crap what anyone thinks. LOL!

Chris Marrero

I am not sure if it has been mentioned in any of these comments, but episode 9 of every season is always the most epic. There's always some sort of big thing going on. For season 1, that's when Ned lost his head. For season 2, that was the big battle at King's Landing. So, when you do the last two episodes every season, brace yourself. 9 will shock you and 10 will calm you down and leave you wondering what's next.

Tombstone Shadow

Crow is a nickname the Wildlings gave the Night's Watch becuz they're all in black

Josh

Ahhh now you’ve met two of my favorite characters - Olenna and Tormund (the one Jon Snow kneeled to by accident). And the introduction of people who can warg into animals and see through their eyes. You’ve already seen Bran do it in the past two seasons and also the wildling guy who was in the bird. Oooh. And Ser Barristan Selmy meeting up with Daenerys. You might remember that Joffrey and Cersei kicked him out of the kings guard for being too old. (I always thought they didn’t want him there because he was too honorable to allow the kind of bullshit behavior Joffrey displays) so he went and found the rightful heir to serve. It was a massive gain for Dany.

Melissa

Great reaction I can’t wait for more thrones

Max

Oooooo…. Grandmother has arrived. She is one of my favorites. Heh heh heh.

Pink Martini AZ

Having the WORST day. And I’m still excited to escape into the world of Westeros with you guys. These videos really can make someone’s day.

Melissa

I thought Joffery gave the order ?

Josh

Exactly what I said too lol Asia be smart

CeeCee

Brandon and Rickon Stark and Hodor etc. are heading to the wall to find Jon Snow and his uncle Benjin Stark.

Cynthia M Farrington

Renly was gay and so is lady Marjorie’s brother, sir Loras. Joffrey was threatening to make homosexuality punishable by death. He wanted to be sure of the reason Marjorie had not become pregnant before he marries her. He was also threatening her brother’s life.

Cynthia M Farrington

ohhhh Asia! You are starting to put everything together! Lovin it! :D

SylMyl

The man explained that the slaves were required to kill a baby as part of their training. 8000 slaves mean 8000 babies killed. This is the other side of the world from where the baby boys are left in the snow for the white walkers.

Cynthia M Farrington

Marjorie Tyrell is the new young Queen for Joffrey. They invited Sansa, with her Grandma, Lady Olenna Tyrell to get the low down. They like Sansa, and want to get the dirt on Joffrey. Now Marjorie knows what Joffrey is like (monster), and now she can "play" him better. The Tyrell House, is about as rich as the Lannisters, so they are rivals, and trying to take the Queen role from Cersei Lannister.

Greg

Asia is usually right. BJ, stop telling her she’s wrong! 😆

Sivan

The man that you asked how he was burned was burned by the wildfire, that green glowing substance they hurled from the castle walls and yes, he was the one who took Melisandre to the cave where she gave birth to the shadow thing.

Cynthia M Farrington

Cersei ordered the attack on Tyrion, so it would be believed he died in the battle.

Cynthia M Farrington

The wildlings live north of the wall and they call the people south of the wall “crows.” The kids are throwing rocks at Jon Snow because he is not one of them.

Cynthia M Farrington

Asia, you asked where they’ve been. They have been north of the wall.

Cynthia M Farrington

You had one job, Sam!

Cynthia M Farrington

I'm crying that you guys think every balding guy is Stannis, love you guys haha <3. Davros aka the onion Knight is the man who was drinking with Salador San (black pirate), he's extremely loyal to Stannis because he was pardoned by him, Davros's son was that soldier on the boat who believed in the Red woman, he was burnt by that green fire during the battle. Stannis was at the battle but was dragged away by his men, that's why he's with the Red woman now. The last guy you noticed was Roose Bolton, I won't say anymore due to spoilers but he's a powerful bannerman under Rob Stark.

Ekk

I don't think you guys noticed yet, but there are a couple changes on the map... When they show Winterfell, it looks burnt down, and in the east, instead of Qarth, now we see Astapor. Also, I'm noticing things I never have before, like this time they played the opening scene for the season (with Tarley in the Blizzard) before the Intro even started! so if you skipped it, you might have missed that! Glad you are playing it full now.

Greg

Casterly Rock u haven't seen yet. Casterly Rock is the Lannister's ancestry home. Joffery gave Little Finger castle, Harrenhal. Where Robb Stark & his army are at right now in the show. They weren't at Winterfell

Josh

Definitely have to do reacts to the wire and better call Saul.

Wayne Polk

Great reaction! Seasons 3 & 4 are the best out of the series in my opinion. The story is about to take you on a wild one! Buckle up!

Wayne Polk

Please stop spoiling for them. I hope you have som moderators Asia and BJ. :)

Monnisnah

The one guy that the brotherhood with no banners (the ones that found Arya and the two boys) captured. The one that asked "what are you doing with a Stark b*tch?" He is called The Hound. He was a member of the Kings guard, he never died. At the battle of Blackwater Bay he told Tyrion "fuck the city, fuck the king", then he left. Later you see him in Sansas room, asking if she wants to go with him north. So he just left. He was always guarding Joffery and went with him where ever he went. He is the one that saved Sansa from being r*ped by those guys (The time someone threw shit on Joffery in the streets). I think you might mistake him for someone els. :)

Monnisnah

There's so much to remember- characters, places, banners, affiliations, historical events, details that only the audience knows. And all that's on top of several storylines unfolding at the same time! It's the kind of show you end up rewatching many times- it's practically made for that. Y'all are enjoying this masterpiece of a show, that's all that matters for real.

Jake Martin

Yes... This. They throw names at you so fast and so often it can take what seems like forever to get them straight. It is a lot easier for those of that have either read the books or watched the series... or both... to remember names and places. Some of us forget what it was like being a newbie to this GoT world ;)

Perry Taliaferro

Indeed. Indeed it is. "yo"

Mindbomb

And to what people are saying about how great season three is I’ll just add “It’s the Bomb !” 💣 Valar Morghulis 🔥+🧊

Jesse

Hey Asia and BJ. Don’t worry about what people are saying about mixing up the names yo. I didn’t get all the names, characters and stories straight the first time I watched it either. Even with people I know I get confused. Like what name should I use for my former chemistry teacher? Mr. White, Walter, Heisenberg, The Devil or just straight up D*ck? It’s confusing yo. 👍🐺🦁🦌🐉

Jesse

Valor dohyris (I know I misspelled) means all men must serve it ties with the title of season 2 final episode Valor morgulis which is all men must die its an old valryian saying

Irby

Your minds are gonna be blown by this season! Trust on that.

Mindbomb

Love season three no spoilers but alot of powerful episodes in the season

Irby

I think you guys are confusing a lot of characters from the battle of blackwater. The guy that showed up at the end is the hound and I think you were thinking that stanis who got beat at blackwater was the hound or something??? you should rewatch some episodes in your free time to refresh.

Mike Lautensack

Children born out of wedlock (bastards) are deemed "unworthy" to take their father's name, so they are given a regional name. Bastards born in the north are given the name Snow. Bastards born in Dorne are given the name "Sand", and there's about six other regional names, but those two are all you need to know right now. That's why everyone knows Jon's a bastard off the bat even when first meeting him. Because of his last name. :)

LynnC

I’m watching this when I get home today. Y’all’s comments have me concerned.

Amy Silknitter

Theon as the Bolton’s prisoner is the one storyline I had to sometimes skip through while watching the first time. Someone mentioned the Bolton sigil—Lannisters are a lion, Starks are a dire wolf, Tyrells are a rose, Targaryens are a three-headed dragon, and Greyjoys are a kraken (among many other houses). But the Boltons are a flayed man. They’re no joke. I don’t actually remember much about Margery from the early seasons except that she’s primarily an opportunist, and an intelligent one at that. I think you guys will like Olenna Tyrell, Margery’s grandmother. She’s one of my favorite characters. They’re both extremely opportunistic, which I think you’re seeing already, but I don’t remember them being particularly cruel. Btw, their last name is Tyrell, they are the Tyrells of Highgarden. Tyrell is a great house second only to the Lannisters so of course Margery was going to take the opportunity presented to join herself to the Lannisters. The treasonous man that was killed, who was having an affair with Ser Loras Tyrell, Margery’s brother, was her husband, Renly Baratheon, Robert’s brother. Sandor Clegane—The Hound—walked away during the Battle of Blackwater when Tyrion used Wildfire (the green stuff). Remember, he was burned by his brother holding his face in the fire as a child for playing with his toys. He didn’t die, he just deserted.

Alicia

You guys are doing good. It honestly took me at least watching 3 times just to get all the names down. And then watching another couple of times to get the intricacies of everything that’s going on. A lot of important things happen before the timeline of the show begins and off screen during each season that you really have connect the dots in your mind. Things that are mentioned in passing to characters you aren’t super familiar with (or aren’t even aware of) end up being crucial. At least that’s how it was for me. For reacting, you just need the broad strokes. You know who’s who even if the names are off and you have the right question about the consequences of everyone’s actions. This is by far the most intricately plotted show I’ve seen (up to a point for sure). Any other shows you do after this will seem like a cake walk. 💕✌️

Miss Melissa

Some more Davos info: Davos is the Hand to Stannis. It’s unusual because he wasn’t a lord or nobleman. He was a former smuggler who lived in the shadows but he came to the rescue of Stannis’ castle, Dragonstone, during the Rebellion (Robert’s Rebellion gets mentioned a lot but it happened before the events of the show) by smuggling food in when the castle was under siege. Stannis rewarded him by making him a Ser —a knight; it’s why he’s sometimes called the Onion Knight— but also punished him by cutting off the fingers of one hand. Davos reminds himself of Stannis’ justice by wearing the fingers in a pouch on a necklace. Don’t feel bad about getting Davos mixed up. There’s too many white dudes with the same haircut 😅

Brandon Mason

The other question you had was about Davos. Davos is who was rescued off the rocks by boat in this episode. He is hand of the king to Stannis. If you remember when the battle started he was on a ship with his son when the green fire started. His son was killed. That’s one reason why he pulled out the knife on the red woman. She was rubbing his face in his sons death. Stannis is usually with the red woman or Davos. So if you are not sure if it’s him see who he is with that will help

I❤️movies&tvshows

Roose Bolton not Rose Bolton.

I❤️movies&tvshows

You guys were asking where Catelyn and Robb were. Catelyn and Robb were at Harrenhall. The place Arya just escaped from. Had she stayed there or in the vicinity she would have run into her mother. When they hear about her fathers death they leave Harrenhall to go to Riverun to the funeral. Robb leaves Bolton in charge of Harrenhall. Riverun (Catelyns childhood home) Harrenhall and where the brotherhood are is located in the middle of the country. Kings Landing is south. Winterfell is North. The wall is north of Winterfell. Then the land beyond the wall where Jon Snow is. The Hound (the tall guy who recognized Arya) the last time you saw him he was in Sansa’s bedroom. He offered to take her home to Winterfell. He told Joffrey F the king and left Kings landing. Now he has been captured by the brotherhood (the men who were feeding Arya and her friends). The men from the nights watch who are walking to the Wall being chased by Whitewalkers. They are north of the wall. It’s called beyond the wall. Jon Snow, the wildings and the men of the nights watch are all north of the wall right now. The nights watch are trying to get back to the wall. The men who just confronted Jamie are Bolton men. Rose Bolton is the man always with Robb and Catelyn. He is the one that handed Robb two scrolls in this episode. He brought news to Robb of Winterfell burning and the massacre there. Plus the news of Catelyns fathers death at Riverrun. Robb told Bolton In this episode that he wanted Theon’s head. Bolton said I have my best hunters after him. It was Bolton men that just found Jamie. Robb left Harrenhall and put Bolton in charge there. That’s why it was Bolton men that found Jamie. One of the pieces you guys missed is the Mountain. The Hound (who identified Arya in this episode and has the burned face) his brother is the Mountain. You saw him in season 1 cut the head off a horse. The mountain was at Harrenhall having people tortured. Arya was captured and taken to Harrenhall. Tywin Lannister rode in to Harrenhall and stopped the torture and he chose Arya for his cup bearer. When Tywin left he left the Mountain at Harrenhall. When Robb and Bolton rode into Harrenhall they said 200 northmen were killed here. When Baelish was talking to Sansa on the pier in this episode you thought he had been given Caterly Rock. Baelish was given Harrenhall. Casterly Rock is the Lannister Castle. It is Tywin Lannisters castle. It wasn’t given to anyone. Bran and the others are traveling to the Wall to meet up with Jon Snow. Bran left Winterfell and now is traveling north to the wall. It’s a lot to figure out and a huge amount of people to remember. That’s why many people enjoy watching the whole series more than once. Because later you figure out who people are and the geography of the country. That’s why the map is so Important in the intro. You guys missed it in this intro but Harrenhall was on the map this time along with Astaphor that was new also. You guys are doing great and I love your reactions. Don’t be concerned with things you missed or confusing people places. It’s a lot of information. ❤️❤️👏👏

I❤️movies&tvshows

The Hound left the Battle of Blackwater, he has a fear of fire that's why his face is messed up. There was a scene where he said “f the king” to Tyrion and Joffrey before he left. He then tried to take Sansa with him but she refused.

Brandon Jarrett

Brienne is one of the very few people in the show world who doesn't scheme and is exactly who they appear to be. Trying to think of any others. The onion knight (Davos) I guess. Scheming is a survival skill. The guys on the bridge are the Boltons. They're the same guys who took back Winterfel and captured/tortured Theon. Their coat of arms is the flayed man which tells you what kind of people they are.

Mr Jackpots

No, Davos WAS the man with the red woman in the tent when she gave birth to the shadow baby. You keep second guessing yourself with that one lol (it wasn’t Stannis). The Hound (Clegane) was not captured or killed at the Battle of Black Water Bay. He realized the battle was a lost cause and said “fuck the king” and left. The last time we saw him (in season 2) he was in Sansa’s room telling her he’s leaving Kings Landing. He wanted her to go with him so he can take her back to Winterfell, but she said no. By season 4 I’m sure you’ll have the names, faces and main locations down. If not, you should really consider turning the subtitles on to help you. Or at least a refresher before you start season 4. I think it’s only going to get harder to follow if you’re still not sure of who is who and where is where.

Patty Estrada

Crows are what the wildlings call the men of the night's watch.

Davey

I know you two are getting the names wrong on purpose so you aren't perceived as full on fantasy dorks. 😉 Also I hope you do Better Call Saul & the wire soon.

shawn boyce

To build on what you said, Harrenhal is the place where Arya, Gendry, and Hot Pie were held prisoner. It’s basically a ruin because it got burnt up by dragon fire a couple hundred years earlier. The Lannisters are in possession of it during Season 2 and use it as kind of a fort/staging area for battle. It’s kind of the least desirable castle/kingdom but being lord of Harrenhal would be better than having no castle at all for a lower noble like Littlefinger. It gives him at least a little more prestige.

Brandon Mason

Word.

joy conner

Joffrey gave Littlefinger a place called Harrenhal in the last episode. Tyrion wanted Casterly Rock. That is the home of his family the Lannisters. Jamie was supposed to inherit it, but because he is a knight he can’t. Tyrion is the rightful heir to Casterly Rock, Tywin is a pos.

Robert L

Damn they got my man Montel to act in Game of thrones.

Robert L

i second this, I love the new Banner ;)

StatueOfGuyThinking

Awe Yeah...

Jordan Jackson

Just noticed the new profile banner. Dope artwork, I dig it. Anyway, season 3 here we go! Peace and love A&B fam!

Darth Brooks

Yo!! First!! I was just getting bored yawning, and this got posted!! I am totally watching it now!! (no work tomorrow, woo hoo!!)
