It was the first time in my life that a ceelebrity who I actually cared about and appreciated fully died, and I really felt it. The Sopranos changed television forever in the US. We had never had TV shows with such content before. You could only find it in movies. The Sopranos and Gandolfini specifically opened the door for very gritty TV shows and antiheroes like Tony Soprano.

I watched it as a young teenager around '99/2000 when they showed it here in Germany on Sundays late at night on one of the public channels (like NPR in the US). I just had a small old TV with an antenna for the 3 public channels and for some reason they had decided to run this show on a late night slot. I've been watching the whole series every 2-3 years since then. To me it's the best piece of entertainment ever. It has such a vibe. And then James Gandolfini. I would give so much to get another episode of him playing Tony.

Thus, Pussy. I think I’ve only watched a few episodes into the second or third season (I can’t remember which), so most of this feels new from here on out. Really excited to get into it

After her sister called her, she got the idea of using the situation to her own advantage. She didn’t even have $200 to repair Olivia’s car. She broke in and vandalized the house so Tony couldn’t sell it right away. She’s cozying up to her mother because she thinks she has money hidden somewhere. I think BJ is right about the way she kept looking at the fire warning sign, only AJ spilled the beans about the DNR.

I really enjoyed episode 2! It was like watching a mother and daughter manipulation chess match between Janice and Livia! They are so much alike it's hilarious! FYI in case you guys have not figured out yet, in episode 1 that was'nt no high school kids that trashed the house, it was Janice, she did that so the house would not be sold! 🤦🏾♂️ My favorite scene is in episode 2 when Janice and Livia try to out manipulate each other during that hospital scene at the table! 🤣 First Janice was trying to manipulate her mother with those records so she can get that house. But when AJ spills the DNR beans to his grandmother, then Livia begins manipulating Janice. Livia knows how much of a snake Janice is. (Like mother, like Daughter) So to keep Janice from ordering a DNR on her Livia lies and tells Janice that money is hidden in that house! But there's no money! 🤣 Brilliant writing!

She is vengeful, manipulative and critical. She uses words to hurt people. I really don’t think she knew that what she said to Junior led to his actions of putting out the hit on Tony. I think she was just trying to get sympathy for herself.
