Theon = peon lol
I expected he would botch it first time I saw this.
Definitely a sad arc for his character, and that's 'nuff said...

Bran's dream about the ocean swallowing Winterfell and Ser Rodrik being killed, was a symbolism of the "Ironborn" (Theon and company), coming to take over Winterfell...And, of course, Ser Rodrik got his head chopped off...Man, Theon did a crap job with the beheading...I didn't see anyone else on "Game of Thrones", botch an execution so horribly.

I really like the blanket you're rockin'...It looks so cozy and warm...What state do you live in? The weather you're describing, sounds like Colorado weather, which is where I have been living for 5 years, even though, I was born and raised in Kentucky.

It is literally painful and completely entertaining how much of what you guys say is just so wrong... lol I thought about starting a list of it all but it's too much to keep track of. It's unbelievable how often one of you says the accurate thing to have the other one explain it completely wrong and the first person who was right just accepts the new explanation as fact when it's so far off from the truth. It kills me and cracks me up all at once.

That is one sexy throw blanket you're rocking... and I agree with BJ, it DOES look like the pelts used in show. Guessing you've discovered the secret of the blanket now, it's EVIL, lol. It really does have a somnolent effect.
I keep forgetting... or I've forgotten if I already told you about Emilia Clark who plays Daenerys. She is freaking awesome, she had a brain aneurysm in between seasons 1 and 2, then had another 2 years later. It's a miracle she's alive much less talking etc. I'm in awe of her.
Season 3 is, imho, the best. Can't wait to see what you guys think about it.

Goffrey is easily one of the most hated characters in all of TV lol. Also, Arya and the mysterious assassin has got to be one of the coolest parts of this entire story; so glad it’s finally been introduced!

Ser Rodrik who got his head chopped by Theon isn't Ned Stark's brother. Ser Rodrik was the Master-at-Arms at Winterfell. He was responsible for training Robb, Jon Snow, Bran, and Theon. Ser Rodrik wasn't family , but the Starks looked at him like he was.

The names are close Ned’s Daughter in kings landing is Sansa pronounced Sand sa. Joffrey’s mother is Cersei. Pronounced Sir see. It’s very confusing. You guys are doing great.

You guys are starting to get all of the names and places! If you want a shock, Google Gwendolyn Christie, who plays Brienne. (The lady knight who pledged herself to Catelyn.) She’s so glamorous IRL that it’s shocking after watching her as Brienne.
Of note, the man who offered to send his bastard son to take back Winterfell is Roose Bolton. The bastard is named Ramsay. I don’t feel like it’s any spoiler to tell you their names.
And where did you get that blanket? I want one. 😃

I am so enjoying your reactions to GoT! Thank you both for hanging in with it. It really does get better and better. Just a quick note on Sansa and Cersei... Cersei is Joffrey's mom (queen regent) and Sansa is the Stark daughter. Y'all are picking things up just fine. The more you watch the more it clicks. Enjoy!

Perhaps you overdid it a little with watching 3 shows at once.
I was really into Game of Thrones back then and still found it challenging to pick up on all things.
The amount of characters, places, fractions, etc. can be overwhelming.

Theon didn't kill Ned's brother. The man he beheaded was a sword master. He trained all the boys in the castle, Robb, Theon, Jon Snow.

I was really disappointed in Theon that he turned out to be so weak. If he really took Ned Stark's teachings to heart, he would not have done those things. Ned died because he would not compromise his honor. Theon just threw it away. He was between a rock and a hard place, but I expected more from him. I love the complexity of his character and his story which continues.

When I watched for my first time I cannot tell you how many times I googled "GOT Map" because I had no sense of the world they were living in. I thought, where the hell is Khalessi and and why do they need to cross anything? Googling a map helps to provide geographical perspective. Opening credits never did that for me, though it's cool how they change each season.

That wasn’t Ned’s brother who died. His only brother left is Benjen, the Head
Ranger of the Night’s Watch, who is missing north of the wall and who
John has talked to a couple of times. Ned’s other brother and father were killed
by the Mad King, and his sister Liana was who King Robert really loved. All of this
has been mentioned, but there’s a lot to keep track of!

when you watched it for the first time did you have people telling you that a character would have an important next few episodes coming up, or would that have seemed odd and perhaps a tad spoilery? Maybe we can let them just experience it the way one should, without hints and spolierly hints. no offense of course, but i do enjoy me some genuine reactions ;P

anything, but the next few episodes made me change my mind about
some of the characters, and not just Theon!
