New Quansheng models

Quansheng has sent me pre-release samples of their V2 versions of UV-K5 and UV-K1.
Here are some technical details I know of so far:
MCU modified to PY32F071
RF IC modified to BK4829
Memory IC changed from 24C64 to flash25q16
The voice prompt chip was removed and replaced by MCU DAC output for voice prompt
Added the USB programming function
I will keep you posted once I know more.

2025-10-12 23:40:15 +0000 UTCI know space was limited with the v1 uvk8, did you every try programming the ones that have the 512 (BL24CM2A) chips. Don't know if that would give you the extra memory you'd need to have more functions on messenger or any other functionality.

If there is an onboard USB serial interface, there could be a potential of turning these radios into cheap USB radio modems. Especially the smaller UV-K1 would be really cool host for that :) What do you guys think?
