You should watch Ray! It's got both Jamie and Kerry Washington in it.

Kwisatz

Ray is sooo good. I forgot Kerry was in it too! Seems like nobody ever reacts to that tho

Kwisatz

Jamie and Kerry make the perfect couple as well in the biopic “Ray”

Awilda Luciano

i give it to Asia. this was hard for her to watch. she said multiple times, she didnt know if she could continue.

famouscrab

Shoot, I hope they compensated Kerry for that as I doubt she signed up for real blood to be smeared on her face. That's wild, I never knew that.

Jason C

Yes, that's exactly right! Samuel L Jackson has told the story as well which honestly, say what you want about Leo...a lot of actors would have had WAY too easy of a time slipping into the role and would have had way too much fun getting to freely say the N word. Leo plays the part very very well, but knowing he had to get past his discomfort to play such a horrible guy definitely is nice to hear. And knowing that Sam and Jamie were pushing him to get there is awesome as well.

Lina Distadio

Seeing you guys react to "I Got a Name" in the horse riding montage was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. :) This movie can get quite dark but its written so very well, and the actors are supremely good. I remember that (I think it was Jaime Fox?) said in an interview that Leo had a lot of apprehension saying the N word and Samuel L Jackson scolded him for it, and so the next day Leo comes in, fully in-character. Though my memory could be off with some of that, come to think of it. Lastly, what I wouldn't give for a spin-off series based on Django and Dr. Schultz's adventures in the mountains, chasing outlaws. That would be AMAZING. I would watch the crap out of that.

Radiodanoo

You guys have got to see, “Unforgiven.” This Oscar-winning western was directed by Clint Eastwood, who also stars in it with Morgan Freeman and Gene Hackman. Excellent, excellent movie!

David Croft-Ogawa

Salma Hayek in the dance that launched a million uh..um.. yeah.

Rowan

no shit?! wow! The whole cast killed it!

Erik L

Do the hateful eight next please 🙏🏾 🔥🔥

Montel Durham

BJ looks kind of like Django, when he's in the full cowboy hat, sunglasses, gunslinger outfit! BJ, I can see you being that badass on the horse gunslinger - you have same beard and sort of look as Django!

Greg

Are you going to back me up on Fresh 1994? If you love death proof they the original vanishing point may interest you. Nice to see they don't take any body's top 5 movies to actual consideration.

shawn boyce

I LOVE DEATHPROOF!!!

Jennifer Alice

Leo deserved an Oscar for this role. He played the villain to PERFECTION. The scene after he cuts the skull when Mr. Pooch bursts in and they demand them lay their hands down. Leo slams his hand down and breaks a glass which cuts him up and has glass shards all in his hand. Him being cut and bleeding wasn't supposed to happen. He ACTUALLY cut himself so when you see him pulling the shards out of his hand that's all real. He just kept going through the scene so they didn't cut. Which also means when he smears his blood all over Kerry it's his actual blood and her look of disgust is very genuine. Once you know that the entire scene is just a masterpiece.

Jennifer Alice

This movie soundtrack is FIRE!!!

Jennifer Alice

I heard Dicaprio had a really, really hard time using the N word. It got so bad that Samuel Jackson had to take him aside and give him a "pull your shit together" speech. I don't remember the details but you can find the interviews on YouTube :-). Thank you for not blurring the movies anymore. Love your reactions!

Dorinda Schaper

I was going to say this film was tied for the worst of Tarantino but, death proof still holds #1 Django is as bad as once upon a time in Hollywood. Samuel L Jackson is great as the most hatable character in movie history. Howabout doing Fresh 1994? Somebody back me up on a perfect movie.

shawn boyce

As a Canadian ( black dad / white mom ) it was difficult to hear the N. word! This movie was about how stupid racism is and how African Americans had to struggle :(

sammy

PLEASE PLEASE react to the movie "MOONSTRUCK"; Cher won the Best Actress Academy award for it, and it is unlike anything you have reacted to. I promise you will love it!!! 💖💖💖💖💖

Jacqueline Separovich

As Ed said, this one definitely pushed the limits; amazing how the same movie can have parts that utterly disgust you and parts that are comedic. When it comes down to the story and the acting, it is an incredible movie. Thank you for reacting to this.

Jacqueline Separovich

Asia, the scene in the movie where Leo's hand starts bleeding wasn't part of the script. When he banged the table he actually broke a glass and cut his hand, but he kept acting right through it.

Patty Estrada

Yes! This one pushed the limits. Glad you liked it. Great story. DiCaprio cut his hand for real when he slapped it down on the table, breaking a glass. He didn't stop acting so that's what you saw. He finished the scene with a bleeding hand.

Ed Pawley

Hateful Eight is more violent. I am not sure Asia could take it. 🤣🤣

Delia Sewell

I think that Hateful Eight by Quentin is just as good.

Tandy Gossett

if you like Leonardo Dicaprio movies please do "Blood Diamond" next. Spectacular movie.

William Abbott

yea well graphic... it's a movie. It's paint and not real blood. I personally find it great to see all those disgusting people get shot :D

SylMyl

(Inglorious bastards)

Jacob Burkard

Christoph Waltz is a legend, went from absolutely hated nazi to this awesome loving German😂 absolutely bonkers movie😂 glad you guys enjoyed it & had a blast watching along!

Jacob Burkard

It really is a brutally graphic movie and tough to watch at times. My friend dragged me to see this after I was coming off a couple of weeks of bronchitis and I cried throughout. Such a shock to see but Tarantino offers a world where seeing such horrid acts get met with fantastical revenge offers a bit of catharsis. This along with Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood are sort of an unofficial historical fantasy revenge trilogy.

Miss Melissa

Please please please do Jackie Brown next another great Tarantino film.

Rio Mendoza

Christoph Waltz who played Dr. Schultz also played the bad guy, Hans Landa In Inglorious Basterds (where he had to speak fluent English, French, German, and Italian). Went from extremely menacing in that to a very warm and compassionate character in this one. Won Oscars for both roles. Tarantino has said there’s only two actors who can really make his dialogue sing and that’s Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson (who should have won the Oscar for Pulp Fiction). Hope you guys do Jackie Brown for your next Tarantino featuring another legendary Samuel L. Jackson performance. ✨💕

Miss Melissa

Oh and I loved that song at the end, which is also the theme to another favorite western of mine, They Call Me Nobody.

Chris Marrero

This was a first time watching for me too. I really enjoyed this one, but I am a sucker for a good western style movie. One thing I noticed was the theme of this movie was really similar to The Count of Monte Cristo.....written by Alexander Dumas (the writer of the Three Musketeers they mentioned) who was black. Good catch BJ because I never would have recognized Tarantino in this. And was I the only one who thought the scene with the clan members complaining about the masks felt like it would have fit really well in Blazing Saddles?

Chris Marrero

Yea! Django. Was so waiting for this to happen

Criimson

This is my favorite Quentin movie. It’s the only one that gets me super emotional (whipping scene) He brings your really low before he lifts you up. He’s writing is a gift.

TinCan Cosmanaut

Wonderful! More Tarantino, please!

Richard Zinns

"he about to jump off this horse and start crip walking!"

Flyin Hawaiian

There's always one great BJ quote from your uploads and I believe this one was when BJ said "right on top of the skillet" LOL this should be a topic for every upload. BJ'S quote of the upload haha.

Rio Mendoza

Quentin wrote this part for Will Smith and he declined…. To play some sci-fi movie with his son.

TinCan Cosmanaut

Leonardo DiCaprio accidentally cut his hand when he slammed it down on the table -- not planned at all and completely unscripted, and yet, he didn't break character when he started bleeding, and kept on acting. Quentin Tarantino kept on filming as well, and decided to keep it in the movie. Asia kept commenting on Leo's bloody hand... I guess keeping it in was the right choice!

N M

Oooh snap! I know y’all are gonna love this one. You need to watch Jackie brown asap. Any way we’d be able to get access to the cut down YouTube version early as well?

Smoothjazzsundays

Also for Tarantino... "From Dusk Till Dawn" beats "Pulp Fiction" and "Django" in terms of gore and 'over the topness' lmao

Riley

Riley just beat me to telling you the real life situation at the dinner table. That's why Kerry Washington groaned so loudly, because she knew he really smeared his blood on her face. Also, John Jarratt who played the first henchman killed from the LaQuinn Dickey Mining Company (he spoke Australian) plays a sadistic serial killer in the horror film Wolf Creek.

JL Green

The dinner scene with Leo and the skull, Leo was going off script a bit and improving and hit the table with his hand for dramatic effect... and actually smashed his hand into a glass. Normally glass on a set would be plastic, or sugar-glass if intended to be broken, but this was a real glass cup. So the blood you see coming from his hand during the rest of the scene is legit and real, the director almost called for "CUT!" but said he could feel the passion from Leo in that scene and didn't want to risk ruining the take! If I recall correctly Leo was cut pretty bad, sliced a tendon or something. Lmao the uneasiness you see from everyone in the scene is both because of the outburst (off script) and the real blood without him breaking character. Leo said he was partially through the dialog and realized he was going pretty deep into a dark topic and the scene just wasn't having the impact it should have for the climax of the Brunhilde arc. Hence table slap lol. and blood wipe on her face (also off script!)

Riley

The man at the bar who asks Django to spell his name is Franco Nero who played Django in the original 1966 film.

Nathan Stokes

Cool, Here we go, have not seen this one. I do have a suggestion for you two, though. If you watch the Tarantino movie: 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood', be sure to Wikipedia the 'Manson Family,' BEFORE you watch it. My favorite Tarantino movie. Because you are younger, the wiki article will help fill in the missing pieces. Cheers!

Mikey Sea

goddamn it just finished good fellas now this lol I better smoke some green for this one

Crispin

Love the attention y’all have given to Tarantino films! He’s hands-down one of the best ever.

Ed Curtis

Doesn’t matter which movie. When y’all hear a great song, y’all react. Great stuff!

Justin Doggett

Non stop, one after the other, quality content. hardest working reactors out there! Django might be my favorite Tarantino movie. Masterpiece. Oh and in case you forgot. The "D" is silent!!!!

Flyin Hawaiian

Great movie with great actors. Can't wait to get home and watch this. The scene where Leonardo DiCaprio breaks the glass and his hand starts bleeding wasn't part of the script. DiCaprio accidentally broke the glass and just kept going with the scene despite his hand dripping blood.

Bob M

Thank you, thank you, you're both legends! I love this movie so much, the cast is superb, as always with Quentin movies however. A group of us nearly had a comp. If you watch a Samuel L Jackson movie? If he says ''MF.'' You have a jelly vodka shot. It wasn't logical. In these kind of movies he says it way too many times 🤣🤣

SilverDoe🎔

Woo Hoo!!!Super excited that you picked this movie! Thank you both so much!!

JL Green

Quickest I've pushed play yet. Tarantino is my favorite director so I'm all in to watch you guys watch one of his films. I can't wait to see how you react some of these crazy things that are about to happen. As always, love you guys!

Rio Mendoza

Holy Crap! I’m currently watching your Game of Thrones reaction and y’all drop this?!! Excellent night!!👊🏼🤓🤠
