Going North of "The Wall", is going as far North as possible, because "The Wall" is already in "The North". The "Farther North", the more dangerous.

The "*Mad King*" killed *Ned Stark's* Dad, *Rickard Stark*, and his Brother, *Brandon Stark*. The "*Mad King*" is a "Targaryen", with white hair...He was the same Race as *Daenerys*.

I own the Replica of *Robert Baratheon's* "War Hammer". That Thing is extremely heavy steel, with spikes...And, the hammer head looks like a meat tenderizer. It would seriously hurt Someone. I would not use Mine to hurt Anyone though, unless They were trying to kill Me. It'd get the job done quick though...Lol. 🤣

*Nymeria* is *Arya's* "Wolf". She protected *Arya*...Not *Lady*...*Lady* is *Sansa's* "Wolf". *Arya's* "Wolf" got away. She threw rocks at *Nymeria*, until She ran away. *Sansa's* "Wolf", *Lady* wasn't involved in "The Fight" with *Joffrey*, but got killed for it anyway, because They could not find *Arya's* "Wolf", *Nymeria*.

The Game of Thrones intro serves the purpose of providing a map of the 7 kingdoms and each episode shows which kingdoms will be included in the episode.

Last thing idk, if u know but Jorah Mormont, the older man protecting Daenery's, his father is Jeor Mormont. Who is Lord Commander of Night's Watch...who is pretty much Jon Snow's mentor. So, Jeor & Jorah are related , father & son

King Slayer (Jamie) didn't kill Ned's father . Jamie killed Daenery's Targaryen's father , Aerys Targaryen aka The Mad King. The Mad King is the one that killed Ned Stark's father & uncle. Mad King burned them alive

I'm guessing someone may have already told you.but if not. Nymeria was Arya's wolf, who she made her run off so they wouldn't kill her. Then Cersei said "there's another wolf" Lady, Sansa's wolf. Even Arya stood up for Lady, even though Sansa lied about what happened with Joffrey. So Cersei wanted a wolf dead. Ned was forced to kill Lady, she was Sansa's wolf. That is why doesn't want to talk to Ned anymore.

When they were telling the War stories and the king calls Jaime(Kingslayer) into the room, The king that Jaime is responsible for killing which got him the title and the same one he mentioned kept saying "burn them all" was Aerys Targaryen "The Mad King" (The father of Daenerys Targaryen or "Kaleesi", the blond wife of the Dothraki Horse lord that had the wedding, and her brother)... Not Ned's father, Ned's father was killed by "The Mad King".. Jaime had mentioned to Ned when they had that stair down in the throne room about Ned's father burning alive, that was Daenary's father (The Mad King) that burned him in that room... The Targaryen's are the ones with the bleach blond hair, and were the former power on the Iron Throne that Robert now sits on up until Robert's rebellion where Robert (with the help of Tywin Lannister) took the throne and 7 kingdoms from the Targaryens, and Jaime killed the king to finish that war, and Robert slaughtered all the Targaryen's except Daenerys and her brother, whom managed to escape into exile, which is why they are across the narrow sea and are the other half of the story happening and why her brother is trying to wed her off for the army to go back and take the throne back and believes himself the rightful heir to the throne because the Targaryen's were the family that sat the Iron throne for hundreds of years (Due to the power they had with Dragons, before they all died out)...

No, I don’t think Jamie set up Tyrion. Jamie actually loves his brother. The series does not clearly reveal who did it, although it seems that a third party did it, but I won’t spoil it.

I didn’t understand much but the little man is Tyron and he had nothing to do with the plot to kill the boy. It was Jamie and Sersay or whatever the queens name is. I think Jamie set Tyron up to take the fall. By stealing his knife. I think I haven’t watched this in several years but like I said the first few seasons are good. But when more and more people come after the kings throne I got confused.

The Night Watch is there to protect the Kingdoms from White Walkers and the Wildlings. (You haven't met them yet but they have been talked about) But the White Walkers haven't been around for 1000's of years so the Night Watch has basically been turned into a place where outcasts, bastards, and criminals go because there is no place for them in their society.
Ok... breakdown of the Queen. She is having sex with her twin brother Jamie. He is also called the Kingslayer because he killed the Mad King... who killed Ned Starks father and brother. The dwarf is the Queen's and Jamie's brother. The Queen and Jamie have Blonde Hair. Gentry, the black haired boy that's King Robert's Bastard son has black hair. His mother is unknown and not related to Queen at all and had blonde hair also. What the phrase "The seed is strong" is referring to the fact that even though Gentry's unknown mother had blonde hair, he has black hair like his father, King Robert.
Don't trip... you guys will get it !!! Best Wishes !!!

Haven’t read all of the comments, so I apologize if this is redundant: The Mad King was Daenerys Targaryen’s (Khaleesi’s) dad. So when they refer to Jamie Lannister as the “king slayer,” it was that king whom he killed.

NO SPOILERS: BJ you're right, the Night's Watch protect the Seven Kingdoms from any evil beyond the wall that tries to cross over. The Night's Watch used to be comprised of great men who took the oath to serve their country, which is why Jon wanted to join. He wasn't sent there by his father, he chose to go with his uncle Benjen Stark (the first ranger who stood with him atop of the wall). To him being a brother of the Night's Watch was an honor, until he got there and realized what kind of men the Night's Watch had in it. Now it's made up of criminals, exiles, or people who aren't deemed 'worthy' of their houses. Viserys (Khaleesi's brother) is not the current king, but he's trying to reclaim the Iron Throne from King Robert, who he calls the Usurper. This is the reason he calls himself the rightful king, even though he's not King at the moment. Before King Robert came into power the Targaryen Dynasty ruled the Seven Kingdoms for three centuries, until the throne was taken from them. The last Targaryen ruler was Aerys Targaryen, who was known as the Mad King (cuz he was crazy and did some evil crazy shit), He's the father of Rhaegar, Viserys and Daenerys (Khaleesi), and was murdered by Jamie Lannister (which is why they call him King Slayer) during Robert's rebellion. Robert's Rebellion, if you remember from the first episode, was the war that started over Rhaegar Targaryen (Viserys and Daenerys older brother) kidnapping Lyanna Stark (Ned's younger sister who Robert was in love with and was supposed to marry). The word you're looking for is King's Landing, which is the capital of the Seven Kingdoms and the place where the kings and queens rule from. Asia, the name of Arya's direwolf is Nymeria, who she sent away after biting Joffrey's arm. Sansa's wolf was Lady, who Robert had Ned kill. Then theirs Ghost who belongs to Jon Snow, Summer who belongs to Bran, Grey Wind who belongs to Robb, and Shaggydog who belongs to Rickon. Each Stark kid has their own Direwolf. I think a chart is a great idea, but I'm sure you'll soon be able to tell who is who and what is what, subtitles might help. Great reaction as always!

LOL I Totally feel your pain on knowing the characters and names. For a long time I kept calling them by these nicknames I gave them. I would call Tyrion “lil man” and Cersi “The beeyatch” and their father (who you’ll see later) “Daddy Lannister”. There was also “dragon bitch”and “aqua man” and so on. I also noticed that if they already had nicknames, it was much easier to remember them. Like Little Finger, Hound, King Slayer, and so on. Funny how the nickname thing seems to work.

So fun watching you guys watch these and piece all the stuff together. One thing you asked about I will mention. The king before Robert (current king) was Aerys Targaryen, aka The Mad King. The Khaleesi and her jerk of a brother are the Mad King's family and thus heirs to the throne but they are in exile (hiding). Hope that clarifies why the brother thinks of himself as the king.

The Wall is North and all the realms are South of the wall, but there are “wildlings” who are people who live North of the wall and in the pilot episode, those men went North of the wall and found those dead bodies and possibly White walkers.
Asia, at the end of the video you were asking about the brother of the blonde girl who married Khal Drogo. Their father was the Mad king who I mentioned in the comment above, their was a battle for the throne and King Robert won, but Danaerys or Khaleesi which means Queen brother believes he is the true king and why he keeps demanding respect and calls himself king. He traded his sister for their army so he can go and take the throne back from King Robert. That’s why he is in such a hurry and doesn’t like that his sister has more power than he does and Khal Drogo’s wife.
Do you know Jason Momoa? Aquaman? He plays Khal Drogo.

Hi Asia and BJ,
I’m loving this… I’m going to try to answer your questions as I watch. I wish I could answer as you watch.
Ned Stark arrived in Kings Landing, the capital because he is now Hand of the King.
When Ned entered the throne room, he was met by Jamie Lannister in the nice armor. He is the Queen’s twin brother and the man she was seen screwing which prompted him to push Ned’s son, Bran in the previous episode. In that throne room, Jamie mentioned Ned’s father and brother dying while 500 men stood by. The previous king was called the Mad king and was burning people alive including Ned’s father and brother and that is why Jamie Lannister killed the Mad king and is called King slayer. When King Robert asked Jamie what the Mad King’s last words were, he said let them burn. Let them all burn.
Ned came to Kings Landing with his two daughters (Arya and Sansa) His sons remained at their home in WinterFell. Sansa is the red haired girl who has been promised to the Prince so they can join their houses together. Arya is the one with the sword. I believe Sansa is angry at her father for killing her wolf, Lady when it was Arya’s wolf who bit Joffrey.
Ned’s wife, Catlyn Stark, came to Kings Landing with the dagger that was used to try and kill her son, Bran. An old friend Lord Baelish brought her to a brothel to keep people from finding out she was there. She came to find out who the dagger belonged to and Lord Baelish told her is was his dagger until he lost it to Lord Tyrion Lannister (the dwarf) so now Catlyn Stark believes Lord Tyrion is responsible for pushing her son and sending an assassin with the dagger to kill Bran and keep him quiet.
When Lord Tyrion got to WinterFell and brought the instructions for Brans saddle, he was wondering where Lady Stark was, but she had gone to King Landing looking for who tried to kill Bran.
Jamie Lannister was outside the king’s room with all the women coming out the door, he mentioned that he had to watch the king do that to his sister, you were asking who his sister was, his sister is the Queen. Basically King Robert is sleeping with whoever he wants and the Queen can’t do anything about it.
Ned’s bastard son is Jon Snow and he travelled to the Wall to join what they call The Nights Watch. It was his choice to join. He wasn’t sent to the Wall. The Nights Watch is basically what BJ said, they are there to protect the realms from anything that might be beyond the wall. Joining the Nights Watch is a lifetime commitment, so it’s difficult to get men to join which is why many members of the Watch are rapists or thieves who would rather join or lose an hand etc. Asia, you mentioned they don’t have telephones, they use ravens to fly messages. Ned got a small scroll to let him know his son, Bran woke up. Jon Snow showed the commander how well he could use the sword and ends up helping the others including the new recruit, Sam. Jon Snow’s wolf growled at that one guy to make sure he’d go easy on Sam. Lord Tyrion Lannister is the dwarf and he is the Queen’s other brother.
Ned Stark was investigating John Arryn’s death from the first episode and visited the armory and the young man who made the helmet and figured out he was the bastard son of King Robert because his mother had blonde hair, but when Ned asked the boy to look at him, he saw that he resembled King Robert which would be a problem regarding the next in line for the throne. That little jerk Prince Joffrey who cried when the wolf bit him is currently next in line.
Lady Stark believes that Tyrion Lannister, the dwarf, conspired to have her son pushed and killed so she called on allies of her family to take Tyrion prisoner at the end of episode 4.
Phew, that was a lot. Watching with subtitles really help.

I know, I know, it's long but please read all?
It's a lot to digest but worth it. I've always said the first season was in your face brutal to shake you out of your "comfortable" life and make you realize this is how it was. Not exact but damn close. Once they shock the senses they're off and running. I would LOVE if you guys were willing to play a game? Up to you, I'd say by the end of Season 3 you should feel sturdy enough to make guesses. Who will be left standing in final episode but most importantly who will be left sitting on the throne? I think it would be interesting to look back at it, you'll see how much the show helped you grow, in good and bad ways. I learned I'm patient and forgiving but once you trip my switch I get downright blood thirsty and raw. This show is going to take you on a journey.

That's why I refused to look it up. I'm an avid reader and somehow that series never landed on my radar even though I read The Hobbit, etc when I was around 8,9 years old. You'd think I'd be drawn to it.
So... Alicia, did you pass?? ENquiring minds need to know.

I'm somewhat ashamed to admit I refused to look up stuff. I WAS lucky that I started watching while they were in season 7. Finished it in MIND blowing time and did not truly remember who everyone was until season 3, maybe 4? Waited until finale to go back and rewatch first few seasons. It was kind of cool that way, I didn't have the books killing it for me as always happens,I was able to put my own thoughts into it fully. I did read the books after and yup, would have killed it for me.

Best idea. So many houses and characters introduced through every season. Chart is great idea. Lady was Sansa's wolf. Arya's was the one that defended. Arya forced her wolf to run away. So poor Lady was put down.

It wasn't Ned's father that Jamie killed, it was the khalessi's father, the Mad King. Ned's father and brother were killed by the Mad King.

There are a LOT of names and storylines that will be thrown at you throughout this series and it can get very confusing. I used to do homework while watching this show, and had trouble keeping them straight pretty much the whole way through—if you aren’t paying attention to names and relationships, it’s easy to get lost. There are dozens of Game of Thrones character maps and family trees online that are very helpful, but they naturally have spoilers. And I always felt like, no matter how lost I got, the show did a good job of eventually explaining any confusion or questions. But I definitely wouldn’t recommend doing anything else while watching these, like I did 😂

Just so you know, the theme song is in 3/4 not 4/4, So it is 1,2,3,1,2,3... 😀 I guess it could be a waltz.

I’m gonna say something that might not be popular… I love GoT, and I’ve watched every episode at least 5 or 6 times. However, to fully understand and follow the story, I had to watch with the subtitles on *and* I spent a decent amount of time researching the characters online because I didn’t read the books. I just feel like you guys would have enjoyed Dexter more than GoT. Either way, I do hope you get more into GoT, because there are some epic episodes that still give me chills. I love Dexter too, btw, and I rewatch it all the time.
