now that breaking bad, El Camino, and Better Call Saul have come and gone - what other spinoff would everyone like to see? another series that could go 5 or so seasons related to Breaking Bad? Id like to see more past El Camino with Jesse and maybe trying to make things right for walts family, just to where jesse doesn't have to hide anymore - whatever story needs to take place for that. Id also like to see something more with Gus backstory, more Salamanca stuff.

Imagine , we had to wait nearly 7yrs to find out what happened to Jesse. We all thought the writers just left it to us to speculate what happened to Jesse

I wouldn't recommend watching BCS first even though you are right about the chronological order. What makes BCS go from good to great, is knowing the characters and their motivations beforehand. Yes It could work seeing it in this order, but I'm sure they wouldn't get the same feelings, reactions, etc that every one else did when they got a chance to revisit the BB universe again. Not to mention, some of the characters impact when meeting them for the first time in BB.

Lol! I was telling Bj I thought the welder guy had something to do with whatever that was Jesse was tied to when they put him in the lab and it turned out I was right… I didn’t want y’all to think that I had already seen it because I guessed right so I came back to mute that part. 😩

Something tells me you guys have seen this before lol? You muted Asia when she was talking about the welders, which you wouldn't know about unless you've seen this movie because that was never shown in BB. Regardless, you guys are still entertaining.

No, you have to watch BB first or El Camino won't make any sense. You can, however watch Better Call Saul first, which is the actual order in the time line.

I haven’t had a chance to watch any of the Breaking Bad episodes so should I watch El Camino?

Thanks for showing El Camino! It was a treat to get to watch the series all the way through again and then see the movie right afterwards. We had to wait 6 years between the end of the series and the movie release. Always a joy to revisit classics with you two!

I think if they were going to reboot anything, and they chose Breaking Bad, the most famous and prolific TV show at the time, (when casting for el camino) I feel like that roll would be big enough and important enough for Todd to shed a few pounds lol. It was 6 years later so obviously he isn't going to look exactly like he did, but these are supposed to be flashbacks to a couple days prior and he's like 40 lbs heavier. LOL I always found that a little too on the nose to ignore.

The cops you see in the beginning are the cops surrounding Walt at the end of the series. Remember Jesse took off a minute or so before he walked around the lab and then bled out.

You two are my favorite reactor video couple. Thanks for bringing back some shows and songs from my past and helping me relive my favorites. I learn so much from other fans who comment and from noticing details I had missed. I love your positive attitude and honest reactions. Keep up the great work.

I just noticed the snowglobe with Lydia on her tea cup and Todd sitting there worshipping her. Todd was into making little scenes. The terrarium with the tarantula and the people making it look like a horror movie shows his twisted mind. He did not feel bad about the kid he killed.

A lot of people missed this about why Todd was even brought into Breaking Bad in the first place. This actually didn't even come from me, but somewhere I read, but it's been too long to remember the source so I'm pulling from memory. Todd is actually the doppelganger/antithesis to Jesse just like Gus was to Heisenberg.
If you notice, similar height, build, mannerisms, etc. Except where Jesse had a heart for children and in general, Todd did not. Todd like Jesse are both young aspiring outlaws, and fully respected the genius of Heisenberg, the fact that they have very similar smoking habits even down to how they smoke, and the fact that Todd makes it a habit to smoke with Jesse any chance he gets shows the intentions the writers had in mind here. Since our hearts went out to Jesse more and more as the seasons went on, we got to see Walt face his demon in Gus Fring, and now we get to see Jesse face his in Todd. Jesse is the only Bad Guy protagonist in BB that narrowly escaped his demons. Walt became his.

Hey Guys! I'm so glad you decided to watch EL CAMINO! What a great movie and continuation of the Breaking Bad story.... great reaction video! Some here have said that the reason why Jesse didn't shoot Todd when he had a chance was because of fear that Brock would be harmed. I didn't even think of that. However, I'm not so sure about that. I don't think Jesse was even thinking of Brock when he found that gun in the glove compartment of the car. It was so sudden and unexpected. We saw Jesse tearing up and on the verge of breaking down when Todd was asking for the gun back. Jesse had a chance to shoot Todd and get away, but he didn't even point the gun at Todd. I think Jesse was so broken down -- mentally AND physically by Todd and his Uncle and their whole gang --- that he didn't even have the will to try and get away. He was completely broken as a human being.... he couldn't even raise the gun and point it at Todd. He was just a shell of the person that he once was, and didn't have the fight in him to get away, even though it would have been relatively simple to just shoot Todd at that point. So I think that Jesse wasn't even thinking about Brock at that moment. He was just too weak to fight for his freedom. As we saw, it only took Todd a little bit of persuasion to get the gun back --- the promise of a few pizzas and a 6 pack of cold beer for Jesse. That just shows how broken down Jesse was as a man.

Yes, that was the lady from The Jeffersons.
This movie was made in 2019, six years after the series ended. That is why the actor playing Todd looks different.
I believe in the flashback when Jesse is talking to Mike about going to Alaska, that was the same place where Walt killed Mike.
Jesse was afraid to escape from Todd or kill him when he found the gun because they would’ve killed Brock. They had already killed Andrea when Jesse made his first attempt to escape.
There is a 15 minute documentary where they talk to the cast and crew about what it was like to come back after six years.
If you remember in the finale, Walt leaves a bloody handprint on a piece of lab equipment when he collapses and for this movie, the crew had to rebuild the lab for the flashback scenes. One of the crew members said he didn’t have the heart to wipe off the handprint from six years earlier. So that’s an Easter egg if you see it.
I would’ve liked to have seen more of Skinny Pete and Badger in this movie. There was a deleted scene with Skinny Pete being questioned by police and he tells the cops that he’s not gonna help them put Jesse in another cage. I believe they deleted the scene because the movie is Jesse’s POV.
I loved it when Skinny told Jesse that he was his hero. That may have been my favorite line in the movie and of course, I love seeing a little smile on Jesse’s face as he’s driving of into the proverbial sunset. Ever since the show ended with Jesse screaming as he escaped in the El Camino, I wanted to know what happened to him.

you were lucky to see this so soon after watching Breaking Bad. we had to wait 6 years after the end of Breaking Bad to find out what happened to Jesse. If you ever watch Better Call Saul, you will find out how Jimmy McGill became Saul. The Sopranos is another great series that the writing and the acting is first rate.

Exactly this... But I'll say no more on this. I'll be back once they get back into the Breaking Bad mythos and Star Wars (up until a certain point lol). It's been a great ride so far though.

Is it true you folks bailed on Better Call Saul if so what a blunder. Let me guess people were saying it's too "slow" Compare Breaking Bad season 4 & 5 to season 1 doesn't that make season 1 look "slow" but was it. Vince Gilligan trade mark build the story/characters and just like a snow ball rolling down hill it just keeps getting bigger and more powerful.
