"She knows it's a multi-pass!" 😂

Dan Gonya

Yes, horses can swim.

Dan Gonya

Yea that's another good one, ha Wallace gets the Queen but if a woman is neglected its easy to get her. Plus as a noble she has never been with a man so her hearing all he did for his wife she envied that type of love making it easy for Wallace to woo her. And at the end when he says In the year of our Lord 1314 that is translated to 1314 A.D. which is also translated to Anno Domini which is Latin for The year of our lord. Latin has been used a lot including our money, I think a penny has E pluribis unum which means, "Out of many, one." Another one that is close to this is, The messenger: The story of Joan of Arc. Its with Milla Jovovich. She's known for her role in Resident evil movies and Leeloo multi-pass.

Saints_Madness

Thanks for doing this one, I LOVE this movie, great story, and Mel Gibson at his finest! If you liked this one, you will love Last of the Mohicans too if you can add it to your list to watch at some stage (I'm sure the list is long :-)

CD

The savage old man that fights with an arrow in his shoulder , and gets his gand chopped off, is the same actor that plays Lord Commander of Night's Watch on GOT

Josh

And if you guys haven't seen Men Of Honor that's a great one too. So is The Hobbit trilogy if you like fantasy and war type stuff. But as usual your reactions are spot on. Yall are fire. I love watching you both together. Yall are such a precious couple and I'm so glad now with Patreon I can see even more of you both. Cause yall both have some epic priceless faces...especially in scenes with a lot of dismemberment...just saying. Love yall

Heather C.

inspiring story, great watch with y'all

SlavicGold

Just remember, when you get to Game of Thrones, that is all Fiction/Fantasy drama! It is good. BUT, Braveheart and even Gladiator were based on REAL history and were done in a very classy and respectful way despite all the violence. It really happened. William Wallace was a real person.

Greg

Good choice, guys!

Mike the Ginger

That was Jonathan Swift and it was satire. He was actually mocking the English attitude towards the Irish.

Catherine LW

Believe it or not but this has been a family favourite for years. No. Its historically accurate but a great movie. Great reaction!! “Every man dies but not every man really lives.”

Lee Stephenson

Another good suggestion as far as war movies go, is the movie "Glory". Arguably the best Civil War movie ever made. All I have to say is Denzel Washington won an Oscar for his role and Morgan Freeman is also in it. With it being a late '80s movie, it is one of their earliest movies.

Jason McNair

Kingdom of Heaven is another good one

Brandon Jarrett

Glad to see y’all watched Braveheart instead of Lord of the Rings.

Not sure if you seen it but another good one is the last samurai with Tom cruise

Henry

One of the best movies of all time!

Greg

Great movie pick. It makes it so much more powerful knowing it is heavily based on a true historical story.

Chris Marrero

The perfect movie to prep yall for Game of Thrones. They share many of the same elements especially if yall aren't familiar with medieval Europe.

Paul Salvador Estrada

That's not very nice Michael.

SilverDoe🎔

Don’t let Asia pick the movies you guys watch. You’ll miss out on some of the best movies of all time.

Michael Lynch

Same thing I was gonna say. I love this movie but Mel Gibson wasn’t really concerned about facts. It’s the same or worse with Apocalypto. I love it but it’s REALLY inaccurate.

Chandra

Apocalypto please, also directed by Mel

William Abbott

Bj said its like he's at the barber shop a little off the top 🤣 when he lost his head. 👋 Top 5 movie for me all time.

Joel yates

The English of the time treated the Scottish and Irish like a lower form of creature. Not even human. This attitude persisted well into the 1900's. During the famine of the mid 1800's, Irish people were starving to death. An Englishman wrote that the Irish should eat their children to prevent starvation.

Tombstone Shadow

Hacksaw Ridge, also directed by Gibson, would make for a great reaction.

Jojo

Love this reaction and thank you for this. This is one of my top 5 movies and I hope you loved it.

Wendy

My family roots are from this area! The Kerr Clan in Scotland. The men of the marsh. Left handed knights who guarded the border for the King of Scotland. It's cool stuff... 99% chance we fought in these battles.

Jonny Kerr (JK)

at the end they werent stabbing him, they were pulling out his intestines. ;S it was a well documented execution. horrific.

StatueOfGuyThinking

Like John A stated, this movie is historically flawed, but it's so well written and produced, it is incredibly satisfying. Although it's well documented that Mel Gibson is not a wonderful man outside of filmmaking, I cannot deny his mastery of the art form.

JL Green

Speaking of Mel Gibson, we're overdue Lethal Weapon 2 guys. It's a better funnier sequel

Davey

One of, if not the least historically accurate movies ever made. But it's still a great movie

John A

Are you ignoring the results of the poll for a reason?

Sebastian

This is such a good movie, can't wait to watch!

DogGroomer17

I'm getting really pumped right now! You've been reacting to some bitching movies this month! I think Gladiator really brought you to this one! It's another epic movie of the 90s, albeit historically inaccurate (which has soiled its reputation over the years but who cares?) Also, the treatment of horses gained controversy from the get-go. Scotland is really a beautiful country! I never realized how green it was! Now that you're getting in the groove for epics, you need to watch Troy! Robert the Bruce's father was a leper. That was what was wrong with his face, also the reason why he was alone in that tower for the whole movie. Mel Gibson reached the pinnacle of his career with this movie. He won 2 Oscars, for Directing and Best Picture. In fact, one of the other producers was the man from 20th Century Fox that greenlit the production for Star Wars in 1975. and his name is Alan Ladd Jr., who also recently died. The movie won 3 more Oscars, for its cinematography, sound editing and makeup. Even though it wasn't an accurate movie historically, it's now a bonda fide classic. James Horner was the man behind the spiritual soundtrack including those brilliant bagpipes. He was also nominated for an Oscar in this movie. He would later win for Titanic two years later. You also need to watch that.

Karl Kraus

I am so excited to watch this. This movie is my ultimate #1 movie of all time.

Fran

😂 I’m excited about your movie choices lately. I wonder what Asia thought about this one. BJ cheering I bet! Going to watch now. Just watched, Wow!!! Asia & BJ you should watch your faces, the best!! You have done some great reactions but this was the best! Great job👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
