Vectatus - charger mode
Added 2025-03-13 21:09:40 +0000 UTCVectatus now supports charging mode with user programmable voltage and current settings.
It also supports detection and indication of deeply discharged batteries.
Of course user can switch to manual CC/CV mode and charge such discharged battery under own discretion.
I have tested it with alkaline 1.5V cells, as well as with 3.7V lithium polymer battery.
Ohh also it now has step by step user calibration mode that user can do just with a multimeter and no computer is required. Calibration settings are saved in EEPROM.
User can calibrate:
idle input current (auto),
output idle current (auto),
input voltage (up/down buttons),
output voltage (up/down buttons),
output current (up/down buttons),
input current (WIP).
Upcoming features:
programmable battery over-discharge protection (based on charge mode setting) in CV and CC/CV modes
MMPT + CHARGING mode to allow highest efficiency battery charging from solar panels
