Breaking Bad S5. E15 and E16

Breaking Bad S5. E15 and E16

Comments

FLYNN was such a tool in these final episodes.

A LINUS ADVENTURE

From the start of the show (his 50th bday) thru season 5 it was about 1 years time took place - he just turned 51 before hank died. then in the final 2 episodes from the time Walt left in the van to when his hair grew back was another years time. (at Dennys when he picked up the new car he was 52 on his bday)

A LINUS ADVENTURE

Did you watch the follow up movie Vince Gilligan made? (sequel movie to breaking bad) its called: El Camino!

A LINUS ADVENTURE

West World. Sorry posting got screwed up.

Raider Ron

Aaron Paul who played Jesse is in another great series called

Raider Ron

I loved watching this season I hope you guys do Dexter because I’ll be there :-) I also love your music reaction that’s how I found you to begin with love and peace

Nona Evans

I hope you give El Camino a view! And Better Call Saul is another great series for future consideration!

Sean Zaccheo

I subbed for your Sopranos watch but I have been making my way through your Breaking Bad reactions in between Sopranos uploads. I sincerely hope you guys are going to watch Better Call Saul. It seems impossible, but a lot of folks think Better Call Saul was even better than Breaking Bad.

p0sthum4n

Are you guys planning on continuing in the breaking bad universe and reacting to better call saul as well?

Dasypodidae

Lydia wasnt too far behind! Seemed her solution to every problem caused by a human was to kill that human

Mantis

Thanks Julie!! :)

Asia and BJ

I didn’t think I’d watch BB again after it’s first run, but I started watching your reactions and couldn’t stop! It was cool watching it so many years later because I had forgotten so much. Plus, I love all of your reactions!

Julie A

You all should watch El Camino The Breaking Bad movie from 2019 and then watch Better call Saul. Better Call Saul season 6 spoils El Camino's ending

Christina Terwilliger

I am catching up with you all. Hopefully you come back and read the new comments. Breaking Bad is one of the best I have ever seen and I'm older and have been watching shows, movies, plays and an avid reader for decades now. End to end a great show, so well written, directed and acted. The shows you are watching now and in the future are good but many will have flaws. No spoilers but shows like Lost, Game of Thrones (which I also read the novels before the series) especially the Sopranos last season and ending was not good compared to the beginning seasons. You will see Breaking Bad is one of the few that maintain a high level beginning to end. Heck Better Call Saul is nearly as good and better than the 3 I mentioned and I am a huge sci fi fantasy fan. So far only The Expanse was good all the way through until they decided to stop it before the 50? year (haven't gotten to that novel yet) leap into the future which would have cost too much to make, although they left the door open for it.

Christopher Miles

Great watching along with you guys. You must watch better call Saul now!

Partheeban Senthilnathan

Kudos to?? The ..... such as? Drop some names so we know you were paying attention..........

shawn boyce

I'm actually going to Albuquerque in May. I got family there. My cousins are gonna take me to all the filming locations , Walter , Jesse , and Hanks houses .. also the car wash , and will eat at Pollos Hermanos which is really called Twisters. Lol I've never been so excited to go New Mexico .

Josh

This has been so great! I had to binge the last 5 episodes today and tonight, because you two had my enthusiasm back up to when I first watched! Keep in mind, when this series first aired, we had to wait a year between seasons, so the excitement for this series was off the roof by the time this finale rolled around. Ok, now I’m going to follow Game of Thrones with you two, at a slower pace. After binging this with you, it really is “like you neva left”!!

Randy Suyematsu

If ya'll remember the old school TV Show "The Jeffersons", Florence (well, the actress that plays Florence -- Marla Gibbs) from that show makes a special guest star appearance in the Breaking Bad sequel movie -- El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. She shows up in the vacuum store to talk to the "Disapperer" store owner about buying a new vacuum vs. fixin' up her old vacuum.

Sam Johnson

Idk if it’s been mentioned before but the whole show was shot in Albuquerque New Mexico and after the season finale. There was Walter white obituary posted in the local paper! ;) you can search it online.

Youtube C

Just for fun here’s a list of Todd’s ringtones: Mr. White: “She Blinded Me With Science” by Thomas Dolby Lydia Rodarte-Quayle: “Lydia, the Tattooed Lady” by Groucho Marx Jesse Pinkman: “Jesse” by Carly Simon Uncle Jack: “Captain Jack” by Billy Joel Andrea Cantillo: “Jessie’s Girl“ by Rick Springfield Saul Goodman: “Lawyers, Guns and Money” by Warren Zevon The first two were in Season 5. The rest I imagined him using.

Jesse

What inspired Walt to steal the truck and return to Albuquerque was seeing the Grey Matter couple talking about the grant they just wrote for $28 million. This gave him the idea of how he could get his money to his family.

Cynthia M Farrington

One of the best series ever made!! I watched it way back, but it was so good to watch it all again with you folks!! and I got to relive all the drama! And glad to see you guys enjoy it!

Greg

I’ve been putting off watching these last two episodes. Didn’t want it to end. You can bet Gretchen and her goofy husband got that money to Skylar and Jr. And although Walter ended up being a tyrant, he ultimately saved his true partner in crime. What a fantastic series and reaction! Much love, Asia and BJ!🤓🤠

Justin Doggett

gotta do El Camino to see what happens to Jesse!

Jonny Kerr (JK)

Please, please watch El Camino. While the memories of the series are fresh

Kalyn Taylor

Your Breaking Bad reactions were awesome and I hope next you give Ozark a try.

David Cansler

Make sure to follow up with "Better Call Saul". It tells the story of Saul Goodman aka Jimmy McGill.

IRLEPL

Two weeks, yeah. Binged it during the covid quarantine. You can read his email he sent him somewhere out there

John A

There has never, ever, EVER been a finale to any show that has come any where near as good as this finale. The absolute perfect ending, couldn't have been better

John A

It was easy to join you for all 5 seasons of probably my favorite TV series of all time - thanks for doing it. As far as your comments on the great acting, I'm not much into awards but it's at least worth mentioning that Bryan Cranston won 4 Emmys for portraying Walter, Aaron Paul won 3 Emmys as Jessie and Anna Gunn won 2 Emmys as Skyler. Like you said, the entire cast was superb. Hell, they could have given an award to Holly in season 5 for Best Supporting Infant or Toddler.

icekaps

Actually, after Walt solved the problem of getting money to his family, he intended to die in the shootout at Jacks cabin, killing Jesse also, because Walt blamed Jesse for everything coming to a head with Hank being killed. When Walt saw how broken down Jesse was, he decided to save him and covered him with his body to protect him from the machine gun. It is interesting to watch the behind the scenes of how this series was filmed. They used blanks in the machine gun, but they still went through the metal of the cadilacs trunk. It was very dangerous and they had to clear the set of any people in front of the machine gun. Blanks are dangerous and it is not safe to fire them at anyone since most blanks are wadded up cardboard instead of a metal bullet or something similar.

Gary Morse

Dexter is very good too! I wouldn't mind rewatching that again

Pop_Pop_Taq

dexter next ? 👀 what a series btw , breaking bad will forever be my number 1

ThePrince

I am the same way this is the only Patreon I signed up for and I check it on a regular basis. I love the full reactions.

Pop_Pop_Taq

Thank you so so much… we’re so happy you decided to join us! ❤️❤️

Asia and BJ

I want to say, ive never signed up for a Patreon before, so y’all are my one and only. I joined just for the BB reactions. It’s been a while since I’ve seen it and I really really loved watching it again with y’all. Thank you so much !! This was absolutely worth joining! I’m also loving the movie reactions. Blasts from the past, I feel like I’m watching old movies with friends. Y’all are so much fun ! Can’t say enough good things about your channel 💜💕💜

Michele G

Wow! Super loved watching y’all’s reaction to this series. Thank y’all so much for the good times! Looking forward to what’s next (El Camino, I hope lol).

daisy

This is one of my favorite series. Yes, you should do El Camino. It is a movie that picks up where this left off about Jessie. They throw in some fillers of what Jessie went through in his journey that we didn't see. Better call Saul is really good as well. You get to see how he became who is was. Great reaction and I look forward to the future ones.

Pop_Pop_Taq

Watch el Camino! It’s like an extra episode. Then better call Saul! Better call Saul starts slow but omg it might be better than breaking bad! (Even though it’s literally the same show!) type in on YouTube breaking bad Super Bowl commercial! They have a GREAT ONE this year!

Brett

Walt died with a smile on his face. Facing the prospect of death made him rethink his life. He lived more in that last 2 years of his life then in his first 50 combined. We all inevitably check out one day. But would you rather live a quiet safe life for 80 or 90 years, or live to be 30 or 50 but get to do what you love and give yourself a sense of meaning and accomplishment within your own standard. Sadly most people do not learn this till it is too late. And thats the real closer to this show.

Fattydoe

please watch el camino

Holly1333

Shot by his own gun. A Walter White story.

Riley Stewart

You should watch El Camino, but frankly Better Call Saul is much better... BUT you should still watch El Camino.

Riley Stewart

Like BJ said, a phenomenal TV series! Glad you liked it as much as I did!

ChipmunkFF

an "innocent thug" lol.. he killed women and children todd is actually the worst character in BB

jay

El Camino is the real final episode in a lot of ways. Better Call Saul is phenomenal and is not at all what you expect

autumn

I know every saying better call Saul but Ozark is the next closest thing to this series. It feels very realistic. Look up ratings or reviews for yourself

TinCan Cosmanaut

Jessie Killed Todd Because He Killed Andrea And The Kid On The Motorcycle. Todd Was Far From An Innocent Thug.

Old Drill Sgt.

Y’all gotta start Better Call Saul, as great as Breaking Bad, a slow burn but so worth your patience!

Outis

El CAMINO TIME! It’s only 1 movie 🍿! I had so much fun watching with y’all! 💯made it better because I watched it with you! YOU MUST DO EL CAMINO! ✌🏻☀️

Goldie Schooch

Thanks for the adventure

Lisa Schaefer

How did you guys not cry! I cried like a little bitch.. AGAIN!! Btw did you notice how walt interrupt-killing jack JUST like jack did hank.. Better call saul next please! Can't wait you guys :D

ViVaLaRan .

There are so many interesting things to know about the last 3 episodes and all the thought that went into them. Too many to list in a Patreon comment, but I'll contribute that ending the series on episode 62 was intentional. Samarium is element 62 on the periodic table and a components in treating cancer. The best thing about this series is that it's very rewatchable. There are many things I discovered watching it a second time around.

Stacey Capito

It’s all foretold through the episode. The “hitmen” are to keep them in line with giving the $ to Walt jr because Walt planned on dying that night. The song he sang from Marty Robins and the line “a deep burning pain in my side” … he was shot in his side. My entire childhood my dad (who happens to look just like Walt) only ever listened to Marty Robins. I was very familiar with that song when we first watched this. We both loved this series then and we even joked about Walt looking like him, and about them ironically using Marty Robins. That was the last time I saw my dad before his heart attack, and this is my first watch through since his death. It was very emotional for me watching this last episode with you guys. Glad you enjoyed it.

Ashly Vader

That's so interesting. I had a different POV, which just proves how great the writers were at developing the characters and making them complex. I felt like the majority of Walt's actions, even at the end were selfish. He ended everything on his terms, which in itself is a selfish act. His son not wanting the drug money from his father, but Walt sets it up so he gets it anyway. I didn't view Walt as saving Jessie, as much as it was that he didn't murder him when he set his gun went off. Covering Jessie was Heisenberg's form of gaining redemption with himself, because he was factually wrong about Jessie partnering with Frank. I can see how it could be considered saving him... if Walt hadn't been there, Jessie may have never escaped... but then I considered the reason why Jessie was in that position was because Walt paid them to kill Jessie.

Stacey Capito

If ya'll love this show, you'll love "Your Honor". It's Bryan Cranston's (He plays Walter) new show. It just started Season 2. It reminds me of Breaking Bad, but with the Legal System instead of drugs.

Raymond K Hessel

From the moment the first episode aired I knew there was only one way for it to end and that was with Walt dead, and the last 8 episodes it felt like they had a blueprint of how to end a tv series and they followed it to perfection!

Todd Warring

Glad you liked it so well! I enjoyed watching it again with you. As you liked this series so much, there is another highly ranked TV series called, "Sons of Anarchy," that is similar. It's about a criminal motorcycle gang and the family that runs it.

Ed Pawley

Slight correction.... El Camino, *then re-watch Breaking Bad season 2 Episode 8 "Better Call Saul," and then Better Call Saul.

Andrew Ramos

It's bitter sweet day watching the final episode All you need to know is Vince Gilligan and crew nailed Better Call Saul just like the nailed Breaking Bad.

Pacmule

When you guys watch El Camino, you should also check out the 15 minute documentary about how they recreated everything 6 years after the show ended and the cast talks about coming back after all that time. It’s pretty interesting

Tara

El Camino then Better Call Saul...that's the order to watch them

Davey

Best ending ever...Walt went out on walts terms...his last unselfish act...he once again saved jesse😉

Deborah Lewis

It is ideal. I’ve watched 3 different reactors watch it and they all love it

Adam smith

PS - BETTER CALL SAUL is not JUST a prequel…. It’s actually a CONTINUATION of Saul Goodman’s story after Breaking Bad… with extensive flashbacks to how Saul became who he was. So don’t think it’s all just before Breaking Bad.

N M

It was so much fun watching this with you guys 🙂 I'm ready for El Camino and Better Call Saul. Y'all are great 👍👍

Rita Bickford

It was a fun reaction watching the show with you guys! If you guys do decide to watch Better Call Saul, just remember it is telling a different story, of things that were taking place before The Events of Breaking Bad, Before Walt and Jesse were a part of the story. It's a prequel, and that story is also great writing done by the same amazing writer Vince Gillian, but the story starts off in the beginning somewhat slower, but it is also just as well written, and by the time the story unfolds it does get to have its own action, and excitement where it ends up feeling a lot like Breaking Bad!

Tyrie Williams

N M

Ok Time for El Camino

Jason Wolfe

It's a great show but the first couple of seasons are slow. Not sure it's ideal for a reaction series

Brett

Fyi: The quicker you watch ”Better Call Saul”, the more you’ll get out of it.

Darnell Holland

Saul is never boring

Darnell Holland

Damn that’s the first time I’ve heard that

Govand Okeh

Now you need to watch El Camino. IMO Better Call Saul is extremely boring.

Jesse

El Camino and then Better Call Saul on deck!

Andrew Ramos

Lets goooo!
