Wolf

lol asia turned into a contortionist right before our eyes. naw nawwww nawwwwwwwp walter didn't. yea yea nawp lolllllll

Wolf

The “Gian” in Giancarlo is pronounced very close to “John”, not “yawn”. It’s an Italian name.

Bill B.

Dont forget about Community!!

Andrew Nyberg

Hey Fam, just finished watchin yalls reaction on this. Was waiting to see what yall thought abt Gus goin out like a boss and that Lily of the Valley reveal. Did not disappoint. Crisp

Jah (jakwiq) (Jah Quick)

You guys are too much...best reactions ! A friend of mine was at Whole Foods and didn't realize she was standing next to Giancarlo Esposito. When she finally paid attention and saw his face, she screamed...what a baby 😂 Testament of how Gus made an imprint on us all. He's a phenomenal actor........started on Broadway in 1968 and has had an amazing career.

Margaret Taylor

BJ figured it out. Asia never know whats going on

Bernie Luke Nang'ayo

Yes the gun spun and pointed to the plant which gave Walt the idea for poison. Happy that you got that!

Sule

Lol damn I feel stupid that it took me 3 times watching this show for the plant/gun spinning gave Walt his plan. You guys discussed it and figured it out first watch.

Patrick McGuire

Walter did not know if Brock was going to live or die, he only told Jesse that after the fact and when Jesse had a gun to him. Of course he's gonna say whatever lie needs to be said so Jesse wont kill him. Walt plays jesse at every turn and you obviously believe the lies too Lol ..... and you're actually justifying him poisoning a kid?

Patrick L

Meh Walt was backed into a corner and he literally poisoned him just enough that wasn't going to kill him. If he wanted to just poison and kill the boy he could have just used the ricin instead he came up with a non lethal way to just make it look like it. Look at this way at this point in the story if Walt hadn't Hank at the very least would be dead followed by Walt. My looking at the choice if it were me? Making a kid horribly sick for a few days vs myself and family dying being murdered? I think I'd go the route were we all live, kid poisoning all the way.

Sequiro

Walt poisoned the boy with berries that he knew wouldn’t be fatal and then convinced Jesse that Gus did it so that he would now get off his ass and help him kill Gus.

There is no denying that Walter poisoned Brock! This is the point in Breaking Bad where I lost all respect for Walt and quit rooting for him. Can't believe Asia doesn't believe its him still lol ..... Walt deserves whatever happens after doing that to a kid He's a POS

Patrick L

BJ being fascinated by 411 call connection had me cracking up. Love it. lol

Jonah Bertorelli

Call it foreheadshadowing. Lol. You can always discover new and subtle things when rewatching. Like I just rewatched this car scene again and noticed how much more shadow on that henchman’s face there actually was. Adding a lifelessness like dimension to his already robotic(or dead) like persona. A dead like foreshadow yo.

Jesse

Rewatch the scene near the beginning of Episode 12. Walt is sitting in his backyard and decides to start spinning a revolver sitting on the table next to him. After the first two spins the revolver is pointing at him. After the third spin it's pointing in a different direction. We see that Walt is looking in the direction that the revolver is pointing, but can't yet see what he's looking at. The camera then moves from behind Walt to reveal a potted plant with white flowers. We then see Walt's face, no longer looking at the flowers, deep in thought, and the scene ends. When you put this scene together with the slow zoom onto the same flowers (this time identifying them as Lily of the Valley) as the final image of Season 4, it's pretty clear that the show is telling the viewer that Walt absolutely was behind Brock's poisoning.

icekaps

Everyone has their breaking point where you just cant root for Walt anymore. Poisoning Brock was my breaking point. For some it was Jane and others it was later events. The great part about it all is Walt kind of redeems himself in the end.

Todd Warring

When Jesse had that gun pointed at Walt’s head it was just more messing with Jesse’s head

Todd Warring

Kids will pick up almost anything and put it in their mouths..Walt has been to Jesse's house..all you need is to place the berries somewhere around the house and the kid will pick it up.

Thato

♥ 51:48 the moment you realize you married a straight up gangsta!

Jennifer James (wtfwebgoddess)

only reason to shot the plant is to prove that Walt poisoned the kid. They dont show you how, but its clear. He framed Gus to get Jesse back on his side. Walt went there to win.

thebirdcatcher1

BJ, you are on the right track about Walter's character evolution.

NJM

I was waiting patiently for you folks to get to this episode- as I remember my first time watching it. It blew me away!!! Pun intended 😀😀😀

Lee Stephenson

Better call Saul needs to be on that list so you can put breaking bad to bed.

Shadowtrader1929

dont think he wouldnt cared

Crispin

Walt was the mastermind of the whole thing from spinning the gun on his table. He planned it all! Let’s go!!🤓🤠

Justin Doggett

Yes, Walt did that to Brock. Because he needed Jesse to be on his side again, letting Jesse think that it was Gus who did it. And making Jesse think it was raisan. I think Walt expected Brock to pull trough at the end - he didn't want to murder the kid.

Monnisnah

Jesse going to Walts house and Jesse grabbing his gun and that whole interaction was one of the best Ive seen

pkleo73

100% man that was defiantly the moment I realized he was being evil

Crispin

yea. after awhile he just loses control and has no idea whats right and wrong...imagine having to juggle those 2 worlds? forget it..

pkleo73

THIS. they shouldnt do that, I agree. LOL.

pkleo73

I know Walt did this to get Jesse safely out of harms way. Which, as twisted as it sounds, I can understand and somewhat respect. Dont get me wrong, NOTHING these main characters(Walt Gus Jesse Mike) do is right by any means...but it stands to reason

pkleo73

is therre any other way?! hehe. Its funny yet somewhat bugs me that they get the benefit of watching it in a binge format..We all remember having to wait a YEAR after some of these season enders...Half/Full Measure eps were so crazy..and Jesse's first Breaking Bad moment, in his own way. That messed with my head for awhile..this being said, Im glad they rifled thru it pretty quick, not that I want their 'ride/experience' to end

pkleo73

but yet, it is..and we all know it..lol

pkleo73

which is what they focus on at the end..and we realize, he DID do it..it took me a long time to wrap my head around that. made me instantly rethink the whole series...until I started over. lol

pkleo73

The good news is season five was broken down into two parts as it aired. So there was 8 episodes then a year break (which was unbearable) then the last eight episodes aired so there is a total of 16 episodes left. My speculation is that Walt somehow gave Brock the berries while he was at school or slipped in his lunch. I don’t even know if Vince Gilligan knows how it happened but it was quite the twist that definitely turns Walter into a villain in my mind.

Brian

Instead of putting better call Saul on a poll to be potentially watched you should just watch it. I know I speak for everyone else here in this section that you have to watch it. If you like this series and this universe you will LOVE better call Saul. After all it gives you more time with a lot of these characters!!!

Adam smith

walter might have broken bad

Eric Reinert

Walt needed Jesse to go along with killing Gustavo. Remember, Walt just keeps "breaking bad."

Ed Pawley

I don't think the writers even intended it to be questionable

Andrew Ramos

I'm so surprised they are polling for the next TV series and not jumping straight into Better Call Saul. That's like making it to the top of the roller coaster and climbing down the ladder rather than finishing the ride.

Andrew Ramos

If Walt is willing to send his innocent, elderly neighbor to his house to potentially be killed, it just might be possible he would poison a child...that's just my thinking..

JP

Hector's facial expressions are emmy worthy.

Corks

When Jesse told Walt that Brock was going to survive, Walt let out a VERY relieved "Oh thank god!!" . Showing that Walter wasnt 100% sure that he would survive being poisoned by him.

Carlos Chavez

Walter poisoned brock to get jesse back on his side. Its like walter and gus was playing a game of chess and jesse was the center of it all. Both manipulating him to there benifit.

Fattydoe

If I'm not mistaken, I think Gustavo Fring was voted greatest villain of all time by IMDB and numerous other polls. Hey, BJ, Giancarlo is pronounced "Yawn" Carlo, like when you 'yawn' in the morning. I was so pissed when this episode came out because the internet spoiled it for me before I could catch up with the episodes. One of the best deaths ever.

Raymond K Hessel

BJ was right about the gun spinning and landing on the plant. He had given up and was waiting to die, but seeing the plant gave him the idea to poison Brock . Walt knew he could make Jesse think it was Gus and then together they could kill him. Without Jesse on his side, he wouldn’t have been able to get Gus out in the open to visit the hospital or see Hector. Walt risked his neighbors life and Brock’s life trying to save his own. Also, I don’t think Mike would be okay with poisoning that kid and he was still recovering in Mexico.

Violet

Gustavo Fring has a much bigger role in Better Call Guys Asia and BJ

Davey

Also thats how Gus knew that his car was not safe in the previous episode. Jesse told Gus that Brock was poisoned. Gus knew that it wasnt him who poisoned Brock, so he guessed it must have been Walter. He also guessed that Walter was nearby doing some mischief so he didnt even go to his car. Mind games.

Ravi

Walter manipulate Jesse to turn against gus using the lryion of the Valley in because of that he find out hector hate Gustavo, Just Rolling that gun in the table he tought ALL of that

Eduardo Silvestre Leônidas

It was a little bittersweet watching Gus be defeated. He’s definitely one of my favorite TV antagonists of all time.

Bob M

Episode 1 coming soon!

Asia and BJ

I’m binging your breaking bad videos

Jasmin Holmes

Season 5 is the best

Jasmin Holmes

Ding dong, Gus and Hector are gone! (ding pun fully intended) Great reaction y'all! Like so many have already written, I too super hope y'all go straight into El Camino after season five and then into Better Call Saul. I like to think of it as the not-so-holy trinity. lol

daisy

Do you remember the beginning of the last episode where Walt was sitting by his swimming pool spinning his gun on the glass table and it kept pointing at him? Then he spun it one more time it pointed at the Lilly of the Valley plant.

Davey

Walter did poison Brock knowing Jessie would blame Gus so they could team up to kill him

Brett

Oh yeah! Here we go! Thanks y'all!!
